This home is one of the nicest properties we've ever rented from (and we rent homes often as it is the easiest way to travel with our large family of 7). The home is very well stocked, clean, and comfortable (A/C worked perfectly even on the hottest of days). The outdoor living areas were one of our absolute favorites about the property - the front porch is expansive and comfortable with plenty of seating options and a private, relaxing ambiance. The back yard is large and has two comfortable hammocks and a fire pit where our children enjoyed hanging out, having a fire and roasting s'mores. The basement was also a fun hangout area with a bar, mini fridge, couches, tv and a connecting (open space) bedroom and a door to a little patio outside! We cooked several meals in the kitchen which was well stocked and very clean. We paid the extra fee to use the pool which was great – it is just at the end of the street, so a short walk and the water is warm, there is plenty of seating, and it is not overly crowded. The tennis courts are in close proximity to the property which was a nice bonus! The neighborhood is very quaint - we enjoyed walking through it and looking at all of the homes. Things we did in the area: we took a day trip to Martha's Vineyard - the ferry is within a 10-minute drive of the house, several times we visited the adorable town of Falmouth for souvenir shopping, or getting a bite to eat - it is also within 10-minutes of the house. We also had ice cream at Smitty’s (yummy! FYI cash only there) and the Cape Cod Winery is within 5 minutes of the house and has yummy wine slushies, flights, and a very cute beachy vibe. We found it easiest to pay to park at the public beaches – we did Old Silver beach as we’ve been before and love it there (about a 15 min drive from the house). Some of the closer beaches require a resident pass which we didn’t get. We had a delicious dinner at The Flying Bridge our last night on the Cape which was a perfect end to a fantastic trip!
