Comfortable classic funky shore cottage

It’s a simple classic funky little shore cottage. The place was scrupulously clean and the beds in the two first floor bedrooms were comfortable. Plenty of hot water for the shower and tons of towels. There was also an outdoor shower although we didn’t use it. We also didn’t use the large upstairs bedroom, which looked quite clean, or the garage “man cave” which looked like it needed renovation. All in all it suited our needs and the price was right.

Myself and my other guests were VERY disappointed in the house and our stay this week. The house had MANY broken things including a tile in the entryway, the washer and dryer was not working, the board in between the kitchen and the living room was broken, the upstairs floor boards were broken, there was missing knobs on doors, all of this was concerning and a safety hazard. Not only were there safety concerns, but I feel as though the house is falsely advertised. The “man cave” garage is advertised, but we are not given access to it, the outdoor shower is advertised and wasn’t working, the upstairs did not look like it looked like in the pictures provided, the grill was filthy and not usable, there was a used pan in the oven left dirty, and there were also clothes left in the washer dirty that wasn’t working. It is advertised as professionally cleaned but this didn’t seem like the case. We had to look under the cushions for the remote and the cushions undersides were stained horribly and smelled of pee. The host was contacted on our first day and we were there for 6 days and he did not respond. We were extremely disappointed.
