Stayed for a girls trip and the house was perfect. Super clean, stocked with everything you could possibly need, and walking distance to shops and beach. Absolutely loved the layout and cute decor!

Great spot for family reunion

We enjoyed our stay “On Beach Time”. It had so many extras that helped make it a pleasant stay: beach towels, dishwasher tabs, detergent, extra pillows and blankets, speakers, beach toys, firewood, etc. We would recommend!

Wonderful visit.

We stayed 3 nights. The house is very well equipped…linens, kitchen, yard chairs, so-go, the works. Short walk to the beach and to stores and restaurants. We loved our experience. You will too!

Excellent stay at this property. Roomy, comfortable, well equipped, very clean. Great location to walk to the beach and stores. Excellent instructions for lights, TV’s, etc.

Wonderful house with plenty of amenities, would definitely enjoy this home in the summer with all the beach supplies. The master suite is amazing and the beds were comfortable. Can’t wait to can’t me back!

Everything was perfect- spacious, clean, all the cooking things you could possibly need, lovely patio, comfortable beds/pillows, tons of entertainment. My only complaint is the master bedroom doesn’t get dark enough at night because it’s open to the bathroom and there isn’t a window covering over the bathtub so you might consider putting some blinds there (it’s frosted glass so not a privacy issue, just light)- other than that it was perfect!

Overall we had a wonderful time, and we will return! The house is extremely clean, close to the center of Manzanita and the beach, has enough parking, comfortable beds and the outside spaces were amazing! The only issues that we ran into were (1) we had 8 people staying there, and a few more over for a couple of dinners. The pots, mixing bowls and serve wear were very small and inadequate for cooking for a large crowd. We rent houses for vacation because we prefer to cook, and it would be very helpful to have large enough pots and bowls to serve and cook in. (2) The room where the two twin beds are downstairs does not have a door, which we did not realize when renting the house. That caused an issue with the people who had expected privacy.

Please note that our description of the house does state the twins are in a common area and we did not count the twins as a bedroom. Just for any one else that is booking. The 4 bedrooms do have their own doors. I will look through the kitchen and appreciate your comments on that. Hoping you found our additional cookware and things in the two pantries in the hallway. I will double check this again to be sure. Thanks again for your feedback and we look forward to your return to the beach in the future.

5 Star Rental

Large, clean, well-stocked house 1 block from the main drag and 4 blocks from the beach. 3 suggestions: Needs an axe or hatchet to split the firewood provided; Needs a large stainless steel pot for boiling corn on the cob and pasta, etc.; The stairway from the front door landing to the main floor has one too many steps and is potentially dangerous because the bottom step extends beyond the pony wall between the stairs going up to the main floor and the stairs going down to the basement. As a result, there were several instances of people stumbling on the bottom step going downstairs. The suggested fix would be to extend the pony wall the length of the bottom step so the person descending the stairs would see that the pony wall and the bottom step are coterminous.
