Appartement victorien 1 chambre à Fitzrovia // Oxford St / Covent Garden à quelques pas

Une belle1 chambre au coeur de Fitzrovia, au centre de Londres. La rue est libre de toute circulation permettant à nos clients de profiter d'un séjour calme et relaxant au milieu de Londres!


Aménagé au premier étage d'un immeuble victorien bien entretenu au cœur de la mode de Fitzrovia, ce bel appartement d'une chambre offre des intérieurs lumineux et modernes / tout en gardant son charme d'époque.


L'appartement est entièrement équipé pour rendre votre séjour dans le centre de Londres des plus agréables. Aucun coin n'est coupé sur les serviettes ou les draps / et il y a beaucoup de rechange pour ceux qui ne souhaitent pas se laver et sécher en vacances.


Caractéristiques de l'appartement: Nous sommes heureux d'organiser notre nettoyeur à venir si cela est demandé.

Le salon dispose d'une télévision à écran plat LCD et d'un lecteur DVD avec une sélection de DVD à regarder pendant votre séjour. .

L'appartement a été entièrement rénové il y a moins d'un an. Il y a un réfrigérateur / congélateur, une plaque de cuisson et de nombreuses casseroles et poêles pour ceux qui souhaitent cuisiner à la maison. Un filtre à eau est également fourni. Il y a une cafetière filtre, une presse française Il y a un excellent choix de magasins qui vendent du café frais moulu.
Nous venons d'ajouter un nouveau canapé-lit.



La cuisine a tout le confort moderne et aussi une sélection de livres de cuisine si vous souhaitez expérimenter à la maison.

Il y a une sélection d'épiceries à moins de cinq minutes à pied de l'appartement, Sainsbury's, Marks and Spencer, Tesco et Waitrose auront tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour votre séjour.

Il y a le Villandry indépendant sur Great Portland St pour le traitement culinaire plus spécial ... et aussi tout simplement fantastique La Fromagerie pour le fromage. C'est l'une des meilleures fromageries de Londres.

La salle de bain a une très bonne pression d'eau et de l'eau chaude constante, donc il n'y aura pas de soucis pour les grands groupes qui restent à l'appartement. L'appartement bénéficie d'un chauffage central indépendant pour les hivers britanniques quelque peu froids.

La chambre a une armoire avec penderie et les valises peuvent facilement être mises de côté.

Cleveland Street abrite un certain nombre de boutiques, cafés et restaurants locaux et est bien positionnée à proximité de Charlotte Street et d'Oxford Street.

Fitzrovia est un quartier du centre de Londres, près du West End de Londres, situé en partie dans le London Borough of Camden (à l'est) et en partie dans la City of Westminster (à l'ouest); et situé entre Marylebone et Bloomsbury et au nord de Soho.

En savoir plus sur Fitzrovia: cette région historiquement bohème abritait autrefois des écrivains tels que Virginia Woolf, George Bernard Shaw et Arthur Rimbaud, Bob Dylan a joué l'un de ses premiers spectacles juste en bas de la route.

A quelques minutes se trouve Fitzroy Sq ... un morceau de design géorgien qui a vieilli à merveille. Quelques pâtés de maisons plus loin et on peut voir l'architecture de Nash et sa rangée de maisons en terrasse près de Regents Park.

Pour ceux qui voyagent avec de jeunes enfants, une visite au Pollocks Toy Museum sur la rue Whitfield à proximité ne manquera pas de les ravir. L'endroit idéal pour ramasser des cadeaux pour ceux qui rentrent chez eux! Je dois admettre même que j'y vais et que je suis toujours en admiration devant les trésors des enfances passées qu'ils ont exposés. À côté se trouve leur imprimerie de théâtre ... encore une fois ... vaut bien une visite. En ce qui concerne le théâtre, il y a la librairie du théâtre sur Conway St avec ses nombreux livres sur toutes les questions liées au théâtre.

Le nombre de restaurants sur Charlotte St à proximité est vraiment incroyable. Il y en a pour tous les goûts et tous les budgets! Nous pouvons vous assurer que vous allez adorer cette rue. Cette rue est à moins de 5 minutes de l'appartement.

Le zoo de Londres est à proximité et cela devrait ravir tous les âges.

Le shopping à proximité sur Oxford St sera un vrai régal pour les gens qui aiment faire du shopping jusqu'à ce qu'ils tombent. Des boutiques haut de gamme aux deux Primarks à très gros budget, on trouvera quelque chose à ramener chez eux. Après une matinée de promenade dans le West End, une gâterie spéciale d'un thé anglais complet l'après-midi deviendra à coup sûr un souvenir spécial de votre séjour à Londres. Oui, cela peut être un peu cher, mais ce devrait être quelque chose qui devrait être essayé si vous avez le temps et le budget. Le Ritz est de loin le meilleur de Londres. Le Savoy, le Dorchester, Browns et Clariddge sont tous chers mais ça vaut le coup. La National Portrait Gallery, la Wallace Collection et le Langham sont plus abordables et tout aussi bons. Fortnum et Mason sur Picacadilly à proximité en valent également la peine. Leur salle de restauration est incroyable / et même si vous n'avez pas le temps de prendre le thé de l'après-midi, vous pouvez acheter du thé à emporter avec vous. Les boîtes de conserve sont tout simplement superbes dans la conception. Un grand cadeau pour ceux qui rentrent chez eux.

We arrived a bit ahead of schedule and were met by Jon. Very welcoming and some great local tips. Flat was great. Clean, well equipped and in an excellent location for enjoying central London on foot. Good transport links for further afield. Fitzrovia itself well worth spending time in. Great location!

The apartment was clean and had everything you could need for your stay. There are plenty of restaurant choices very close and it is located near at least three underground stations. The neighborhood seemed safe and everyone was friendly. We were given a lot of helpful information when we checked in.

Perfect Combination of Location and Comfort

This comfortable, well equipped and quiet flat was the perfect place for our visit to London. We were warmly welcomed by Charlene and Jon, who gave us excellent recommendations. Our communication with James was also great. Although surrounded by good public transport options, we could easily walk to everywhere we wanted to visit.

Great flat in perfect location

The flat was perfect for 2 adults and a teenager over the Christmas holidays. It had everything we needed. Benedicte was great and met us there to give us the keys and show us around. There are a lot of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. It’s close to several tube and bus lines which made it perfect for exploring London. Would stay there again!

Nice Flat in a Great Location

This is a pleasant flat from which to explore a vibrant part of the city. The host's amiable associate was there to let us in and explain everything about the property, which, although a bit different than the usual lockbox experience, was much appreciated. All told, this property was a good value, and we would certainly stay here again. Recommended.

Fantastic stay in a well located apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in James' apartment. It is ideally located in the inner circle of London. The Underground and small supermarkets are close by. We got a lot of information from James' friend who lives in the same building and made us feel very welcome. We can recommend it to anyone.

Nicely appointed, good location

The apartment is a good base from which to explore London. Easy Tube and bus connections, and you always find your way home by looking for the BT tower on the horizon. One caveat: It's a bit snug for four people. But if everybody gets along pretty well, you can make it work for a few days.

Thank you- I'm so please you enjoyed the flat and Fitzrovia! Yes, I also use the BT Tower as a guide for getting back to Fitzrovia...it's almost impossible to get lost with it looming overhead. Good property in great neighbourhood

Recently stayed 4 nights at this property. We were late arriving but John who showed us round could not have been nicer. Flat was well equipped and in a lovely quiet part of London with tubes nearby to take you everywhere and was within easy walking distance of Oxford Street, Covent Garden, theatres etc. Also good selection of restaurants nearby. The little Greek restaurant on Cleveland Street was lovely and I would recommend it. I would definitely book this property again if I returned to London.

Well-appointed, quiet, central flat with cleanliness issues.

A nice, though small, one-bedroom flat, perfect size for a couple, in a quiet location in Fitzrovia. Well-appointed with good quality amenities. Good restaurants on the doorstep, and a short walk to two underground stations. A bit past its prime, and less than spotlessly clean (floors need a good scrubbing, bedding needs cleaning, etc.).

Thank you for your comments about your stay . I'm sorry to hear that you had some issues . I wished you had contacted me during your actual stay . Most flats in London will be in converted Victorian houses and stairs are often the norm . It's a first floor flat and I personally don't think it's dark at all but I understand if you felt otherwise . We have a regular cleaner that does a wonderful job so I'm not sure what the issue was .Despite the above I hope you had a wonderful time in London and wish you the best for future travels. Carolina Panthers take the win in London!

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay in this flat. We were able to check in early to drop off our bags and were given names of lots of local pubs/restaurants to visit during our stay. We took her advice and started at The Lore of the Land and actually saw and spoke to Guy Richie, the owner! We were in walking distance of everywhere that we wanted to see. We saw Come From Away, partied with the Panthers Roaring Riot fans, went to the NFL game, Hard Rock Hotel, Big Red bus tour and so much more. The flat was on top of a sports bar so we never had a shortage of food & fun. Great memories were made! Would go back to this location again when our team plays in London!

Highly recommended

Two of us stayed in this flat for five nights recently and were very pleased with both the location and accommodation. The bedroom is set back from the street so is quiet as well as large with plenty of storage. We used the sofa bed in the living room as well, and found that even leaving it out during the day left enough room to watch tv in the chairs. The bathroom is nicely finished and the laundry facilities much appreciated. We were met at the flat by the owner and given all the information we needed for our stay, as well as a phone number for any questions that might arise. Although we missed the opportunity to eat at the Brazilian cafe as it wasn't open on Sunday (it might be now), we did enjoy a great meal at Thai Metro on Charlotte Street. Many thanks for a great stay in London. Will be back.

We were very disappointed in this property. The flat was not ready for us to check in at the requested time. There was no lamp in the sitting room, one standing lamp in the bedroom which made it difficult to read at night. The bath in the flat above us overflowed causing water to come down through the pot lights in our kitchen. I would not recommend this to a friend or member of my family.

I'm sorry to hear you were not pleased with the flat. You had requested an early check in time to which we gave you an no additional charge but did explain that we had guests leaving that day and the flat had to be cleaned and the laundry done which takes 3-4 hours.The flat was ready for our 3pm check in.We understand that guests sometimes need an earlier check in time,and are more than happy for the bags to dropped off and the keys collected but the cleaning also has to be done.The guests upstairs filled the bath too much causing a slight overflow of water.This was dealt with within hours and the small amount of water was cleared from your floor.I'll remind guests upstairs to be more aware of that in the future. A nice stay with a great landlord

The Fitzrovia apartment was ideally located for us, with easy proximity to three tube stations and lots of buses. Our host, James, could not have been more helpful or responsive. I left my Kindle in the apartment and he immediately sent it to me! He was friendly and helpful at every turn. Furnishings and supplies were adequate for our needs for a week. The bed was so comfortable that we often didn't want to leave it. Washer and dryer, and dishwasher all worked great. Tiny but new bathroom. We were able to meet when we arrived in London, which is a huge plus for us. This flat met our needs and James was wonderful. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because a little spit and polish and organization were needed to make it perfect, but the price and facilities were quite good, and again, James was great.

all that we needed in a quiet London community

My husband and I stayed 6 nights on holiday as first time visitors to London. My first impression was the place was a little outdated. We got used to coming home and relaxing in the apartment every night after a busy day sightseeing. Kitchen area was great,equipped with anything you would need. As was bedroom. Washer and dryer were much appreciated.Just needed a couple new pillows on the chairs and a pop of color. Cleveland street was not much to look at, but everywhere within a 2 block radius was delightful. a small park, a big park, several Tube stations within walking distance. The proximity of restaurants on Charlotte St. was fabulous and such a variety. James was very easy to work with and just delightful, although we did not need much, and Charlene let us in and gave us a lot of help with navigating area and transit. Very easy to work with.

We have updated the mid century modern chair(as it could have been abit too retro)with a more comfortable chair which fits in very well with the decor of the flat.It's great that you had the chance to eat out on Charlotte St,as it really is one of the best places for dining in Central London.We hope you'll stay in Fitzrovia again. Fabulous in Fitzrovia!

James' flat is very comfortable, convenient, and makes for a lovely stay in London. I stayed recently with a friend and my 4 year old. There was plenty of room for all of us and the two fold out beds in the loving room provided an excellent option for sleeping arrangements. For London, also having a full private bedroom away from the main living space is unique! Communication by James & Benedicte throughout the booking process until arrival was prompt and professional. James greeted us when we arrived and gave us a rundown of the flat's amenities. The location allowed us to quickly walk to groceries stores, a tube station and a myriad of restaurants and coffee shops. If I had any suggestion it would be to replace the television as the sound is extremely poor. A tv may not be high priority to most but I look forward to watching British television when I'm in London! Otherwise, our stay was one of the best I've every had in London and I hope to return!

Great location, cozy, clean & well equipped

Loved our 9 day stay in Fitzrovia. Very convenient to tube and busses, but also easy walking distance to British Museum, Covent Gardens, and even Trafalgar Square is only a little over a mile away. We're a family of four, which made for somewhat tight quarters (teenagers in the living room, us in the bedroom), but the flat with tiny corner kitchen had everything we needed for easy breakfast and the occasional dinner "at home". The immediate area is packed with restaurants & pubs (Fish Bone, Brazilian Gourmet and Vasis were all excellent and on same block as the flat), several grocery stores, and a few blocks from Regents Park which is a lovely place for a bit of nature. The flat is not located on a particularly lovely block of London - the building across the street is boarded up - but very safe and as I said extremely convenient. The street was a little noisy a few nights, but we always travel with earplugs, and it was nothing out of the usual for city noise. Jon and James were both incredibly helpful and kind. Jon met us and made sure we were settled and had everything we needed, and James rescued us on our final day when our teen left their suitcase in the flat as we were leaving. Thanks to you both!

I love the area of Fitzrovia.! It's such a great area to stay in and the street is very quiet. There's very much a community feel to it with the owners of the numerous cafes and restaurants always saying hello.It's sometime hard to believe that this is right in the centre of London as the neighbourhood is so friendly.There are great quality shops with minutes of the flats and you can even walk to Covent Garden from here.The main shopping areas of Regent St and Oxford St are just down the road.
