Coconut Grove Beach Apartment at Village Manor is a comfy and extremely affordable 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath, beach-side Kauai condo vacation rental is perfect for your holiday getaway.
This cozy second floor end unit with approximately 634 square feet of living area comes fully equipped with a king size bed in the primary bedroom, two twin beds in the 2nd bedroom and a sofa sleeper upon request. Two twins can be converted to a king bed upon request at the time of booking. Housekeeping fee applies for sofa sleeper or king bed conversion. Sleeps up to 4.

Ceiling fans are located in both bedrooms and living area to circulate the ocean breezes. No AC.
Apartment kitchen is fully equipped for "home" meals and living room comes complete with flat screen TV. Patio located off of the kitchen is great for morning coffee or tea. Beach Gear provided includes: Beach towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler.

Coin operated washer/dryer located on property.

We love our stay there!

It is probably a little small for our family of 5, but enjoyed every minute there! The property is clean, very close to shops, nice small balcony where we had our breakfast every morning.

Convenient to everything

Close and convenient to many different attractions in Kauai, beach, restaurants and town. Property was clean and check-in process was straight forward. Definitely consider this place if you planning to visit Kauai.

Great for 4 people - might be difficult w/ 6

Pretty well appointed in kitchen, bath & bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of fans. Some thoughtful additions would be welcomed, such as air freshener, more storage containers for food. Really nice location … walkable even. Close to grocery, restaurants & beach.

Overall a good area to stay in

This place is in a very good area of the island. It’s very close to multiple restaurants and stores. It’s not too far from other areas of the island and has a short walk to a beach. They provide a cooler, chairs and an umbrella which was very useful. The place itself was definitely enough room for two adults but might be crowded for a family. There was an ant problem even though we tried to keep it as clean as possible. Overall, it’s in a good central location and worked well as a place to sleep and eat.

When we got there, the internet router was broken and agent was helpful. Although we knew there wasn’t any AC in this unit, we booked this place since we would stay in November. It was still pretty hot in November. Having fan helped, but if you don’t like being hot, I would book elsewhere. Other than that, it was good. The location was wonderful with shops and restaurants all close by. Walking distance to the beach.

Fine base, not a place to hang out

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There's good and bad about this rental. The condition is good and it is well equipped. It was roomy for two people but would feel a bit tight for four. The bad is the location. It is between two parking lots and has no views at all. It is not far to a beach but that isn't a great walk. We just didn't find it a place to hang out and relax. Everything nearby is either a shopping center or more apartments. Traffic is terrible, but that's just Kauai. All in all, if you want a place to just sleep and fix a bite to eat this is fine. If you want a place to kickback and enjoy being there you might want to look elsewhere.

Very disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so excited to visit to Kauai but our condo was not good at all. The bathroom door was not closed well and dishes were not cleaned. Very old cooking equipment last such as pan and pots. My wife did not want to use for cooking. The location was just in front of fire station and lots of chickens are crying all the time. We made a decision based on other reviews but we realized that was not the case.

A week in Paradise

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is conveniently located right near a small shopping center as well as the beach. We walked to the beach every evening and we pretty much had it all to ourselves. The room is newly remodeled and they did a great job with that. They had small beach chairs, umbrella and cooler that made our days at the beach a bit more comfortable. The manager sent many emails with information about the island and advice on things to do. It is a great little condo. We rented snorkeling gear and a boogie board at the beginning of the week an hit the beaches. Our favorite snorkel spot was Beach House Beach. We also did a Zodiac Tour with Blue Horizon. It was the highlight of our stay! We saw the west side of the island at high speed, went into the caves, snorkeled, swam, saw dolphins and rays. That was a great day. We ate meals at home in the evenings because my husband is celiac so it is hard to eat out. The room had great quality cooking supplies.

Village Manor

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property description was not as I saw on the photos. The property was clean but the beds and furniture were very uncomfortable especially since there were 4 adults in the space. The kitchen was well equipped with good cookware. It was very noisy as you had to keep windows open due to no a/c. The bath towels were very thin. I had problems with the cable and the weekend the number to call only referred me to the cable company. The cable rep did walk me through how to resolve the issue but it happened every time so was frustrating. The location to the grocery is good but that is doable from many locations. We spent little time at the condo as there are many activities to do and good restaurants all around. We did have parking space so that was nice. Just not at all what I was expecting/hoping for so part of this is on me. It was serviceable at best. I didn't like the $88 fee charged by the VRBO site which was not noted initially when I made the reservation only saw it on my bill later. Kauai is beautiful no matter where you stay. I hope I gave a few positives among the things to be aware of when booking.

Lovely stay overall

It’s a bit smaller than some two bedrooms, and so visitors should be aware space is tight. But it’s nice. The location is great! The parrots in the coconut trees are pretty loud in the morning and night. But it was a treat for my bird-loving son. Great location to walk straight to the ocean and walk down the beach or to convenient shopping across the street. My only complaint is the couch bed. Super uncomfortable.

Lyon family stay.

I had to be on my knees to take a shower. Made my family laugh, LOL. Otherwise, it was a great rental, totally recommend it to friends.
