Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the 2nd time we’ve stayed in this unit. We like its central location - lots of nearby restaurant and cafe choices, and proximity to the beach and easy access everywhere we wanted to go on the island.What we did NOT like was the lack of customer-friendly info on how to best use the combination of Samsung TV remote and the Spectrum cable streaming remote controls. Not all the icons or buttons on both remotes were intuitive and we were frustrated having to play hit or miss before we could succeed in watching what we wanted to. The one-page typed instruction sheet placed near the remote controls wasn’t detailed enough for our needs. My husband is quite tech savvy, and even he struggled with his remote controls. Perhaps a teenager could’ve figured these remote controls out in an instant – but we’re not teenagers!

It’s a bit smaller than some two bedrooms, and so visitors should be aware space is tight. But it’s nice. The location is great! The parrots in the coconut trees are pretty loud in the morning and night. But it was a treat for my bird-loving son. Great location to walk straight to the ocean and walk down the beach or to convenient shopping across the street. My only complaint is the couch bed. Super uncomfortable.

We love our stay there!

It is probably a little small for our family of 5, but enjoyed every minute there! The property is clean, very close to shops, nice small balcony where we had our breakfast every morning.

Pretty well appointed in kitchen, bath & bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of fans. Some thoughtful additions would be welcomed, such as air freshener, more storage containers for food. Really nice location … walkable even. Close to grocery, restaurants & beach.

Overall a good area to stay in

This place is in a very good area of the island. It’s very close to multiple restaurants and stores. It’s not too far from other areas of the island and has a short walk to a beach. They provide a cooler, chairs and an umbrella which was very useful. The place itself was definitely enough room for two adults but might be crowded for a family. There was an ant problem even though we tried to keep it as clean as possible. Overall, it’s in a good central location and worked well as a place to sleep and eat.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There's good and bad about this rental. The condition is good and it is well equipped. It was roomy for two people but would feel a bit tight for four. The bad is the location. It is between two parking lots and has no views at all. It is not far to a beach but that isn't a great walk. We just didn't find it a place to hang out and relax. Everything nearby is either a shopping center or more apartments. Traffic is terrible, but that's just Kauai. All in all, if you want a place to just sleep and fix a bite to eat this is fine. If you want a place to kickback and enjoy being there you might want to look elsewhere.

Convenient to everything

Close and convenient to many different attractions in Kauai, beach, restaurants and town. Property was clean and check-in process was straight forward. Definitely consider this place if you planning to visit Kauai.

When we got there, the internet router was broken and agent was helpful. Although we knew there wasn’t any AC in this unit, we booked this place since we would stay in November. It was still pretty hot in November. Having fan helped, but if you don’t like being hot, I would book elsewhere. Other than that, it was good. The location was wonderful with shops and restaurants all close by. Walking distance to the beach.

Kapaa location was central for visits to Hanalei, Sleeping Giant, Wailua River, Poipu, and Waimea Canyon. Easy no-contact check-in and check-out. Although no a/c, the ceiling fans provided ample air movement and a comfortable stay. Kitchen was well equipped and bed was comfortable. Beach chairs, umbrella and towels were included with the rental. Did not use the on-site laundry room. Would rent this unit again.

Reviewer Comments: Pros: great location for grocery store (across street) food and shops, plus in between North and South shore which is really nice.Clean. Big enough for our family. Nice to have a place to cook. Cons: Hot!!! If you are from Arizona or are used to hotter temps you will be fine, if not, it's uncomfortable. We originally booked for Nov, so I wasn't worried about not having A/C, but then we ended up coming in June. The fans are not enough. It blew right on us and was uncomfortable at night, especially once you have had some time in the sun. Some nights were Ok others were not. Felt like you were sleeping in 80 plus degrees. Way too hot to use the oven. We often woke up drenched in sweat. Again, when it's not Summer its probably just fine. The oven took a long time to cook (like hours). And the pillows need to be changed out. Some bugs, but I think that's just a tropical climate thing. TV's worked off on, but I think we just didn't know how to use them. Really just the heat is the issue. The people that run it were great. Great location. Value could have been better for no a/c. If you can find a place for the same price with a/c, definitely get the place with A/C. I believe it was also advertised that they had a pool and there is not one.

Convenient Location, Nice Accomodation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This somewhat small, second floor, two bedroom apartment was just what we (family of four) needed. One BR had a king bed, the other two twins. One main bathroom, and a second with just toilet and sink. Kitchen had all that was needed. Just a few bugs but none that were fast moving or frightening. We kept our food in the fridge, microwave or oven and it stayed safe. The location was very convenient with restaurants, shops and groceries (and a great bakery) in walking distance. The only negative was the wild roosters waking us up at 5:30 AM, but they're everywhere on this island. Landlord was great and communicated with us throughout. I'd come back again.
