Nice cozy place to stay

Reviewer Comments: We love the location although it is a bit far from the center of Gatlinburg, it is tucked away from all the crowds with a large balcony over the mountain stream. Very pet friendly. The condo is a little outdated but it is fine for a vacation rental.

Great place to stay

Easy ck in. Always messagwd me back. Also gave us 2 free tickets to a show and easy ck out. Even gave me a late ck out. Loved this place sooooo much. It was close to everything which was great since my dad is disabled and could ride his scooter everywhere.

The condos are clean, roomy and in a great location. They have large balconies overlooking the river. This is a quiet location at the end of town near the park.

It was located so closed infact we can to the Condominium for a quick mid day break! over all we were happy to stay in Park Place Condominiums.

I opened the sliding door to the master suite and let the creek put me to sleep every night. room was clean and very spacious. parking was convenient to the elevators for unloading and loading up to leave. will definitely put Park Place on my stay again list.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Park Place and will stay there again. The front office is very pleasant to work with. We were satisfied with room 311. It is alittle outdated but worked fine for us. There were a couple things that I would suggest addressing - the master bedroom bathroom has a broken faucet and lamp that doesnt work. The kitchen could be stocked alittle more and the coffee pot could be updated. These things are minor but make a difference in someone's stay. We would stay there again though.

For example, it is carpeted in the eating area and did not have a sweeper to use...luckily, the office provided us with an extra. The mattresses were very HARD...woke up ea h morning very stiff.Overall, the cleanliness is my first priority and it passed in my opinion in this area.

The condo (three eleven) was pet friendly and appeared clean but the living, dining and two bed rooms were all carpeted and somewhat stained. Can't understand why they wouldn't replace it with an easy to clean laminate. The condo itself was quite roomy and had everything we needed for our eight night stay. The cable and wifi worked well and the beds were pretty comfortable. The livingroom sofa and loveseat were comfy too, although all the furnishing, fixtures, lighting, shower curtain and bedspreads were extremely dated (ninety's at best) but again everything was clean (minus the carpeting) and the location was perfect! I've stayed in the hotel across from it before and I enjoyed being right at the last stoplight on the parkway before heading into the smokies. The Gatlinburg Trail (dogs allowed) is an easy two mile hike to the Sugarlands Visitor Center and literally right around the corner from Park Place on the River. And the nightly rate was defintely reasonable in comparison to other rentals with the same sq ft and amenities. I would definitely stay here in the future, if available, and would recommend it to others. Oh and Donna, the office manager, was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcomed.

Review of Park Place Condos. Unit 311

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 311 was in rough condition. Blistered paint on bathroom ceiling, mold on balcony ceiling. At least one of the stove eyes did not work. Cheap PVC furniture on balcony . One morning as we were walking down the stairs to leave for the day a maintenance man fired up a leaf blower on the fourth floor and proceeded to blow dust, leaves and dryer lint off the fourth floor walkway down on me and my wife and grand daughter. No consideration for anyone who might be under him.The info pamphlet given at check in stated no smoking . It even mentions a $100 fine for smoking, yet every morning and afternoon the balcony under us had smoke billowing up so bad we could not sit in our balcony . We had to go inside and close the door. I called the front desk about this and they did not answer. I left a message about this and they never called me back. This is the second time we’ve stayed at Park Place Condos and it will be the last.

Check in was smooth. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. I did have to go back to the office and ask for a hair dryer since there wasn't one in the unit. We had a view of the woods and it was very quiet. Another good thing was the directions for the TV. I have stayed in condos where there are several remotes and no directions. This place had very clear directions. I would definitely stay here again.
