Quiet Cul de Sac, Sag Harbor Village 1 mi, Heated Salt Water Pool w/ Waterfall

We built our home in 1998 and love having our family gather here with us in our "Bit of Heaven", in our fabulous town of Sag Harbor. We moved here from "upisland" as they say here, after Jim was employed as a teacher in Sag Harbor and we could not be happier with that decision made many moons ago. The people are just wonderful and then there is all the beauty to be seen and nature's spectacular bounty to be enjoyed. Then, of course, there is all the Arts to be experienced! We love the ocean and the bay beaches, the farms stands, Farmer's Market and local wine. We can often be found at a live play or dancing to some live music. There is always something wonderful to do here and we take it all in. We also thoroughly enjoy, and recommend, eating out at some of the best restaurants ever and we've traveled a bit. A perfect day for us is going to the beach, walking along the water, or taking a ride on our boat and then relaxing in or by our pool with the soothing waterfall before we get ready to go out for a delicious dinner where there is someone playing either jazz or 70's music Finishing the evening off with a walk through town, stopping along the way for an ice cream, just pure bliss!

Everyone that has been here expresses how special it is! We have the perfect location offering so much beauty with the flower gardens, lots of foliage, and fantastic bird watching. Our place is often described as so peaceful and relaxing with much privacy being on the Cul de Sac and yet, we are still close to everything you would want to do in the Hamptons. The house is super cozy and very comfortable with all the amenities needed to have a great experience and there is so much room to find a quiet spot alone to read a book or take a nap in the middle of the day if you wished to after swimming at the ocean and riding the waves. Whether your heart's desire is to relax on the porch swing, work out in the exercise studio, or walk at the beach, just a mile away, there are so many options. You may like to explore the other areas in the Hamptons, and we are centrally located with just a 5 minute drive to the ferry, if you desire to explore the North Fork of Long Island to visit lots of Vineyards but just so you know, one of the best Long Island wines, Wolffer Estates, is just a 6 minute drive on our back roads.
