This newly built open floor studio building is full of charm and unique modern-rustic style. Hand crafted wood elements bring cozy warm tones to the spacious vibe. Split roof vaulted ceilings with a row of clerestory windows bring plenty of light and air into the space. Enjoy the large custom tile shower complete with TWO shower heads. Relax in the hammock corner with a good book. Sleep in MAXIMUM COMFORT on a brand new (as of June 2023) Nectar Premier Hybrid Queen mattress. There’s also a hammock to relax in outside, and a ipe patio with chairs and fans to relax in outside. Grill and fire pit are available for use and a large outdoor table for family style grill-outs. Perfect Getaway!

This was such an excellent choice for a few days of R+R! It's super close to Park Circle and all of the cool little restaurants and shops. The space itself is open, warm and full of everything possible to make this a comfortable stay. The bed was so comfortable I'll be upgrading my own with the same brand! We loved that it was also fairly close to the beach and shopping. 10/10 would recommend Dave and Cat's super sweet little spot!

So welcoming and such a lovely studio!

Our stay included comfort in all the details in this studio. Communication was great, the artwork was capturing, houseplants lovely, bathroom dual shower heads nice, kitchen perfect, air temp perfect, books and games available too.The only thing missing was a little washer/dryer but we did stay there for a longer stay. Would highly recommend staying here especially if in the area for local events.

Charleston visit

This place was absolutely charming!! The decor, plants, and furnishings are all tastefully done. It is very clean with up to date appliances! Dave has all the light switches labeled, which was very helpful! Lots of soft, ambient lighting. The instructions on how to enter was very complete and easy to follow! Definitely would recommend this lovely VRBO!

What a great place to stay

WOW, where to start to brag on Dave and Cat and the guest house that they have! Their attention to detail is more than we could have expected! The pictures online DO NOT do it Justice! There wasn’t one thing that we needed that wasn’t already there! Communication with Dave was great! He responds very quickly and is extra friendly! If I could give this place 10 stars I would! We plan on staying here every year when we come to visit family in Charleston. I loved the plants in the house too! I now know why Dave and Cat are Super Hosts!! Excellent place to stay!

Hi! I’m Dave. My wife Catherine and I moved to Park Circle in 2013. We have two children - Ocean and Elijah - who are 3 and 11 months old. We absolutely love living in this neighborhood! Park Circle has become one of the fastest growing up-and-coming areas in Charleston. It’s a hot spot for new local restaurants and festival locations. We also just got a brand new huge playground in the middle of Park Circle. They’re calling it the largest “all-inclusive” playground IN THE WORLD. It’s pretty rad. Lots of families have been coming to check it out and the kids love it.

Why they chose this property

We’re perfectly located only 10 minutes from the Airport, 15 minutes to downtown Charleston, and 30-45 minutes from any of the three beaches around here. This neighborhood is one of the few areas where you aren’t hemmed in by a bridge or a body of water. Easy to get in-and-out of if any routes or traffic are jamming things up.

What makes this property unique

We built this open floor plan clerestory studio in 2022. Had been a dream of mine to build. It’s got lots of room and lots of natural light. Very open and airy feel. It’s very relaxing and calming. Perfect spot to come and relax after a day at the beach or galavanting around town. We love it and we thing you will too!
