Summary:
The Inn at 257 is located in the beautiful Elliotborough neighborhood. You will be FOUR short blocks from King Street. We recommend you leave your car parked in our lot and enjoy the city on foot, bicycle, or the ever convenient Uber and Lyft.

***You MUST be able to climb stairs to access this suite!

The Space:

There is a microwave and mini fridge included for this suite.

If you've never used a wet room before, you're in for a treat! The sleek and modern bathroom has teak mats so you can comfortably use the open space at all times.

Clean room, neat full room shower, comfortable bed. Host was quick with responses. Within walking distance of Bad bunnies coffee and rooted in Charleston (along with other shops). Super cool area. Would definitely come back.

It's all in the little details! It is a super cozy room but has everything you could possibly need and extremely clean and smelled so good.The host is very welcoming and kind. We had a very lovely stay and the room was so comfortable and was perfect for our needs. Everything is in walking distance from this location and we took full advantage of it! We will definitely visit Charleston again most definitely will stay here at 257 Rutledge Inn!

I was very impressed. The host was waiting outside in the rain for us to arrive and we were 30 minutes late due to heavy rain and flooding. Very hospitable. The room was very nice and the bed was super comfy. Enjoyed my stay.

Cozy Cute / Spot On Location

I had an amazing stay at this VRBO. The place was spotless and incredibly clean, which made it feel very welcoming. The location was absolutely perfect, close to all the main attractions. Plus, the communication with the owner was top-notch, always prompt and helpful. Highly recommend!

Great stay!

Very clean, quiet room. Very well thought out, lots of nice touches. The pool area was adorable and a very nice perk. Love that chairs were provided for outdoor seating. Hosts were very accommodating and they made sure we were comfortable. If in the area we would definitely stay here again.

Exactly as advertised. Perfect for a few days of exploring Charleston. Private parking is a plus. Enjoyed our time and would book again. No issues whatsoever. Communication was clear for all instructions.

Small & cozy

Perfect location, off street parking was good. Our host Courtney was quick to help us with any of our needs. This property is a very small well cared for & sparkling clean. There is only a bedroom. Be aware that carrying any luggage up the spiral staircase is very challenging. The wet bathroom works very well. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Wonderful Stay

The location was ideal, close enough to walk downtown, but set in a quiet residential neighborhood. Our host Courtney was extremely accommodating and hospitable.

Good but not great.

Overall, this property is perfect for a 1-2 night stay, but I wanted stay longer than that. However, there is mold in the shower “cubby” hole all over the brick. Pool is nice and you’re about a 15 minute walk or less from downtown.

Cute quarters

The property is beautifully laid out and easy access. We spent two nights in the single room. The pool was an added bonus, small and just right. The only con was the mosquitoes, bugs in Charleston can be bad. Next time, I plan on staying at other spaces on the property which includes apartments and a full house .

Cozy, convenient, and outstanding communication!!

This host is outstanding. The host is quick to make very good suggestions, provided detailed information about check in and check out, provided accommodations like umbrellas that are simple, but often overlooked. The setting is wonderful and near several restaurants. It was exactly as described, with no shortage of any of the necessities, such as towels, coffee (sure, I consider it a necessity), and other things that can be easily overlooked. You will see why this host has such solid reviews.

Beds and sheets were cozy and soft. High speed internet. New airconditioner. Bottle of wine and a variety of coffees. Towels were huge, thick and soft. Mini frig and tv. Great hot water but not a fan of the bathroom as the shower. The floor by the toilet and door gets wet.

Fabulous Charleston stay

We were so pleased with our stay this past weekend! It was a lovely, comfortable, clean room locally situated to lots of activities. Perfect for Couples

Courtney was amazing and went above and beyond as a host. The room was perfect for 2 people, and the bed was very comfortable. Great shower pressure and hot water also. The staircase is tight but we had no issues going up or down with or without our luggage. We would stay here again and again.
