Excellent for Family Christmas

This house has stunning views with short drive to the slopes. Well appointed kitchen was superb. Plenty of room for family of 5 or more. Drive time to great restaurants was less than 10 mins. Our family would love to return again!

Beautiful Property Close to the Mountain

Overall a really great experience. The property is lovely with an amazing view. The kitchen was well stocked. It was nice to have a garage space in the Winter. There is a nice gas fireplace that really can heat up the comfy family room. We would certainly recommend- but bring your own toiletries as we did not find them provided except for a bar of soap.

Dog poop on back deck

Good property and accommodated our needs. The place needs a good deep clean found many areas dusty. The back deck was not cleared off and there was dog poop on the deck. We could not use that deck at all.

Beautiful views, but warning they kept most of our security deposit

Beautiful property, but disappointing stay. We did a thorough survey of the house before leaving. Two days later we were informed that there was a broken window - one we couldn't even reach. Owners kept a big portion of our damage deposit. VRBO would not intervene to help resolve the dispute. No air conditioning and no screens on many of the windows so they couldn't be open - we had to have a bird removed from inside the house. Upstairs hot and stuffy. Bring your own trash bags, toilet paper, etc.

Perfect Mountain Experience

If you’re looking for the full mountain resort town experience, this is it! Gorgeous up high views, right in the heart of the resort community. It has a steep, switchback driveway up to the house but ample parking for 3 vehicles. You’re in a dense neighborhood but still feel somewhat secluded.The walk down to the resort isn’t too bad, especially if you get a locker at the base- 15/day is worth it! We also chose to use Ski Butler to store our skis during our stay at the base-90/2pair for 4 days. At the bottom of the switchback you can also grab the bus- green or orange line in winter. But the walk is almost the same from the transit station or just walking down on your own schedule. Save some energy for the walk back up!! (Both about 10 minutes.)Pictures don’t do the house Justice. It’s has very spacious bedrooms and plenty of common space. It’s not little kid friendly upstairs with the wood railing, but you can easily block the stairs for kid safety. There are antiques throughout and it is very nicely appointed.The hosts were quick to respond to any of our questions/needs. Steamboat is an expensive area to stay with VRBO due to all the taxes charged, but well worth It for proximity to the village and easy access to really everything! Highly recommend!PS- guests have shared many items like spices, toiletries, laundry soap, etc. so you can feel right at home.

Spacious with beautiful views

This is a very spacious home with beautiful views. It had everything we needed including a comfortable living room. It is welcoming for dogs and that's one of the reasons we chose to stay here. Be aware that it is not within walking distance to the slopes or downtown- you have to walk down a steep and sometimes slippery road to the bus stop.

Beautiful setting. Breathtaking views from the big dining room window.

Love Brad's place. If you are visiting in the winter; bring patience for the drive into town/ski area AND make certain your vehicle is road worthy. Good tires are a must when dealing with snow covered driveway and roads. During the day, we skied. Evenings we ate at restaurants in town and we played lots of cards. Very relaxing and fun.

Amazing Cottage near the mountain!

Brad's place was absolutely amazing. Very spacious and great for both small and larger groups. Brad was very responsive and helped answer all questions. Plus the views - you cannot beat the views, the photos don't do it justice. I would definitely stay here about on future trips!

Great stay in Steamboat

We had a great time at the house. It was in a great spot for mountain access and was clean and easy. It can be a bit slick getting up to the house because the driveway is steep, but when it’s slick it has snowed, and that’s a good problem to have in Steamboat.

Better than advertised!

Exceptional place. Everything a family or group could want. Place is huge, clean and Brad made everything easy for check in. Full kitchen. Washer/Dryer. About a mile to gondola so a little far to walk in ski boots but we dropped skiers everyday and either had a snow boarder walk back or someone who wasn’t skiing. We’ll definitely return

Great slopeside location

We loved all the fun art and decor, the photos don't do it justice. Plenty of room and all the amenities you need. Gorgeous views! Just a short drive to park and ski. My family enjoyed our stay ad would stay here again!
