Great little place for a couple! I would not recommended more than 4 to stay at this adorable cottage. We had 5 for only one night and the bathroom and air conditioning couldn’t keep up. Super cute cottage! I would definitely stay again !

Very nice bungalow

Super nice property to stay at for a couple do nights. Very nice enclosed front patio and open back patio with tall privacy fencing.

Salty Seahorse

I would very much recommend the salty seahorse to any couples/small family looking for a nice retreat. the house was very clean and cozy, walking distance to Thomas donuts and the beach and not far from local restaurants. the house was as described and was perfect for what needed. Would definitely stay again!

Yes, she was very helpful. It was very cold, the mini split didn't heat very well, so she brought a ceramic heater. The dishwasher kept blowing a fuse and she immediately got an electrian to fix it

For the price, The Salty Dog was a fair stay, especially since we were able to bring our dog (fenced-in yard!!) The location worked really well for a quick beach getaway, and being able to walk to Thomas’s & Carousel (grocery) was a definite plus.There is no central HVAC, but there are three separate AC units, one of which is an actual mini split. The other window units could definitely use some updating. The unit in the bedroom also produced quite a bit of condensation that leaked onto the floor. There wasn’t a vacuum, which would be a great addition for a pet-friendly beach rental. Between dog hair and the inevitable sand that comes home with you every day, we definitely could have used one.The bathroom has been nicely updated, including a big walk-in shower, which was a plus. Enough bath towels for two were supplied. Stacked laundry unit was convenient but be sure to bring your own detergent. The kitchen is pretty minimally stocked and isn’t really equipped for preparing full meals. There is silverware and, thankfully, a wine opener, but I wouldn’t plan on doing much serious cooking, especially during the hotter months.Overall, it was a decent option for the price and served our needs well for a quick, dog-friendly getaway. With a few updates to the AC units and some additional basics like a vacuum and more kitchen essential utensils, it could be an even more comfortable stay.If you have kids, note the bunk bed is near the front door.Otherwise, we would stay again.

Labor Day weekend trip

Great little weekend getaway. Very convenient to where my children were staying, right around the block. Place looks just like the picture show. My granddaughter loved sleeping one night in the bunkbeds in the living area. Only one block from the beach and to Thomases famous donut place and also the Carousel grocery store. We rented a golf cart from a local shop making travel to and from the beach very easy. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick get away.

Great Location

The location is great. Just a block from the beach and two from Carousel Market, so super convenient for everything. The house itself was very clean and matched the listing.Only downside: mosquitoes. The house had a bunch of them when we arrived. We killed over ten that first night and had to deal with more every day. Unfortunately, they ended up biting my 3-month-old baby, which was really frustrating.

Contacted the property manager day one regarding washing machine and dryer not working…not really a problem since we had family 2 streets over. Day 3 left message regarding horrid smell-possibly septic issue. NO response. NOT HAPPY. Dog poop in back yard not picked up. I would NOT rent again. Very very disappointing

Everything was perfect. We are used to being on the beach so that was a little different but renting a golf cart made it a breeze. We love it just being a block from to the beach, easily walked if wanted.

Property at a good location, quiet neighborhood and close to beach. Fenced in yard for our dog. Washer and dryer was nice to have. Comfortable bed and super nice tile shower.
