Explore the great outdoors right from your doorstep! Venture out to Fort Abercrombie (.5mi) or traverse our vast hiking trails (see our guidebooks) for spectacular panoramic views of ocean and forest landscapes. Our brand new three-bedroom apartment is meticulously designed for comfort and style. It houses two queen beds and two twin beds, comfortably accommodating 6 guests. (we also offer an air mattress for +2). Featuring a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious living room—all framing magnificent ocean views.

📺 Amenities:
Enjoy free WiFi, smart TV with streaming services, a well-appointed kitchen, and all the comforts of home. Expansive windows ensure the ocean is always within view.

The apartment boasts a private entrance, enhancing your privacy and convenience during your stay.

About Us:
We are a local brand on the rise of thoughtfully curated, all-inclusive, comfortable vacation rentals with first-class professional hospitality. We have waterfront properties and paddle board rentals to enjoy coastal exploration and beautiful sunrises!

We will occasionally be on site during your stay but will be available 24/7 by phone and we live close by. I like to give my guests space and privacy, but rest assured, if you have any questions or needs they will be met during your stay.

🏖️ Neighborhood:
This is a beautiful, small, residential neighborhood directly across the street from Mill Bay Beach. A popular local kodiak beach where you can sunbath, swim, kayak & paddle board. Outside your door is the bike/walking path that leads you a 1/4 mile to the fascinating Ft. Abercrombie, full of sunbeam lit mossy hiking trails, blueberry & salmonberry bushes, & rugged cliffs with hidden WWII bunkers. Also, another local favorite State Park beach with easy access. Downtown is 2.5 miles and Safeway is 1 mile.

🚘 Parking:
There`s plenty of complimentary parking on site. We always recommend our guests rent a car to be fully flexible and independent TURO is a good rental option for cars.

Just a heads-up—Kodiak’s wild beauty comes with unpredictable weather! Flights and ferries are sometimes delayed or canceled due to fog, wind, or rough seas.

🚨 These disruptions are common and don’t qualify for refunds outside our cancellation policy. We highly recommend travel insurance to protect your trip. It can cover delays, cancellations, or interruptions—giving you peace of mind before and during your stay.

August 2024 Pet Policy Update:

We love our furry friends and understand how important it is to travel with them. We’ve always tried to accommodate families with pets, but recent experiences have led us to make some changes to ensure our properties remain in top condition for all guests.

While we understand the joy of traveling with pets, some guests have caused excessive clean up and damage. This affects future guests who expect a clean, well-maintained space upon their arrival.

To address this, we’re now considering pets on a case-by-case basis. If you’re planning to bring your pet, please contact us before booking for written approval. There’s a $150 pet fee, payable through our guest portal, and a rental agreement to sign.

We’ve invested a lot of love and care into our properties, and we want to keep them beautiful and welcoming for all—both two-legged and four-legged! Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to making your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

PET POLICY:
We charge a $150 pet fee for an approved pet.
*Not disclosing your pet(s) will result in a cancelation of your stay without refund.
*Pet(s) may be 2 small to medium sized quiet pets
*No puppies
*Pet must not have a history of causing any damage to furniture/fixtures, no peeing on carpets, no aggression
*Pet must be leashed at all times outside of the apartment

*If your pet damages carpet or furniture you will be charged for carpet or furniture cleaning or replacement.

This includes cleaning up any waste, minimizing shedding inside the home, and ensuring that all pet-related items are removed at checkout. Additional cleaning fees may apply if extra cleaning is required due to pet-related messes.

SMOKING
Smoking Policy: Strictly Prohibited Inside
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment. Guests who fail to comply will be charged a $500 room recovery fee plus the cost of any lost rental days. Thank you for respecting our no-smoking policy.

Please refrain from moving heavy furniture to prevent damages. Guests will be held liable for any resulting damages.

SHOES:
Please Remove Your Shoes at the door
This is a local custom in Kodiak! To help keep our apartment clean and comfortable for all guests, we kindly ask that you remove your shoes before entering. This helps prevent tracking in mud and rainwater and keeps carpets & furniture clean. Thank you for your cooperation!

Nice place, particularly if you want to surf fish in Mill Bay (just a short walk down the hill). The host was very responsive and friendly.
