About this property

Really Cute Cottage, Parlee Beach - Shediac

This is a charming classic Shediac cottage with the beach at the end of the lane, and only a 3 minute walk to Parlee Beach. On Second Avenue, it is great location. (The map doesn't show it, but the beach starts at the end of 2nd Ave) Tennis courts, bike path, wharf and marina are also all just a short walk away.

Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and a washer and dryer too! Toaster, kettle, coffeemaker and microwave. One bedroom with a double bed and the other with two bunk beds. The two long veranda galleries (enclosed) can also be used for sleeping as each has a fold out bed.

Large deck with umbrella table and chairs, two chaise longues with comfy new cushions, and a barbecue too. A really nice cottage with classic charm. Free high speed internet too!

Very cute rustic property. Had everything we needed to make our week perfect. Nice quiet area with a beautiful beach within a two minute walk. Really enjoyed our week in the cute little pink cottage.

Fantastic location and sweet well-equipped cottage

If you are looking for a cottage that has everything except your food look no further! This sweet cottage has a ton of character and a lot of space! Owner is excellent and is in constant communication, very helpful and ensures you have a fabulous week! 2 blocks away from the beach (dog friendly) and under 10-minute walk to Parlee beach. We enjoyed our week and will return. Angela

Summer get away for a week

This rustic cottage was the perfect spot for myself to relax and enjoy family and friends who visited. It wasn’t far from the beautiful beach or other attractions. The deck was an added bonus in order to sit out and enjoy a meal from the BBQ. Our host was awesome! Given the extreme heat with humidity during the stay having no air conditioning made the stay quite uncomfortable for sleeping or escaping from the heat. This would probably need to be addressed as the summers are getting hotter. Thanks !

A Small Gem in a Great Spot!

I had difficulty locating the cottage at first as they had painted the cottage and we were not expecting a pink cottage with aqua trim! It actually grew on me as the week went on. People stopped to take pictures!The cottage itself is small but lots of cute rooms that would provide privacy if with another couple/friends. Front sun porch, another sun porch on the side of cottage and a large deck for bbquing. We had friends and family visit and they all commented on how great a spot it was. It’s well decorated, giving it a real homey and cozy atmosphere. It was also well stocked with utensils and everything you would need in a kitchen. (If you are going to have seafood, lobster, crab, etc. bring proper utensil) We were able to borrow some. It’s does not have air conditioning as is stated in advertised description but we were lucky to enjoy cool breezes in the evenings. It is a short walk to the beach and to a couple of decent restaurants that serve sea food. We had a wonderful week and our dog enjoyed being able to enjoy the beach as well. We would definitely recommend if you enjoy a cottage that is actually a cottage.

Points faibles: bcp de fils d’araignées dans les lampes de plafond; chaleur dans le chalet malgré l’aération et les ventilateurs: envisager une climatisation d’appoint serait bien); chambre avec lit double très petite (on ne peut faire le tour du lit); photos du site ne représentent pas bien la réalité, housses de divans avec trous; la personne d’entretien arrive à 10h alors que le courriel du propriétaire nous indique 10h30. Points forts: ultra bien situé, vraiment! (Plage superbe à 3 minutes à pied, épicerie à moins de 10 minutes en voiture: emplacement génial.) Facile d’entrée à l’arrivée; petite annexe avec moustiquaires agréable; balcon avec bbq bien apprécié; laveuse/sécheuse pratiques, literie propre et confortable.

Great Parlee Beach Experience!

Very rustic cottage but has everything you need and so close to the beach. Thankful that some cottage owners rent to people with pets.

could use a little TLC

POSITIVE-location is excellent and calm neighborhood also found near: local town(restaurants activities etc.), beach, wharf, larger city and other smaller villages & towns. Games and toys are also on site. NEGATIVE-Quality of water: contains a lot of iron -stained clothes by using washer. Cottage was cute however, felt more like a cabin than a cottage. no wall or ceiling insulation therefore cracks leaving access to insects, dust and heat.
