Experience the pinnacle of mountain living at this four-bedroom, three-bathroom home located in the heart of Massanutten Resort. Blending rustic charm with modern amenities, Timbers Edge Retreat is well-suited for family vacations, small work retreats, or weekend getaways with friends.
Step inside and take in the unique architecture and soaring ceilings that create an open, inviting atmosphere. Expansive windows fill the main living area with natural light and offer peaceful views of the surrounding forest. Enjoy time together in the game room with foosball or gather for meals in the fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The screened porch and spacious decks provide quiet places to relax and enjoy the mountain air. Each of the four bedrooms offers a comfortable and private space for a restful stay.
Please note: The fireplace is not available for guest use.
Timbers Edge Retreat places you just minutes from the top attractions in the Shenandoah Valley. Massanutten Resort offers a wide range of activities including the Indoor/Outdoor WaterPark, two scenic 18-hole golf courses, and the Family Adventure Park featuring zip lining, tubing, and climbing. Nearby, you’ll also find local dining, shopping, hiking in Shenandoah National Park, and kayaking along the Shenandoah River.
At Timbers Edge Retreat, guests can enjoy a balance of relaxation and outdoor recreation in a scenic mountain setting.
Check-in begins at 4 PM, and your keyless entry code will activate at that time. Check-out is 10 AM.

We had a wonderful time at this property! It was the perfect size and layout for our families, and in a prime location; we were just a quick and easy drive to ski slopes. The house was clean and comfortable, and had a great fireplace to gather around inside, while the snow fell outside!

Nice rental house in the resort

This was a nice place for the five of us to stay; beds were comfortable, amenities were fine, and the owners were responsive to our inquiries. The house itself is on one of the main roads of the resort with a fair amount of traffic, so the road noise put a bit of a damper on the otherwise excellent screened in porch. Otherwise it is a great option to be close to Shenandoah.

Awesome house with plenty of space!

This house was great! Very close to the entrance to Massanutten, making coming and going convenient. Plenty of room to spread out or come together. We even saw quite a few deer roaming behind the house. We needed a place to stay for an event happening at JMU, and this house met those needs perfectly.

Girls Weekend

Great location close to all Massanutten has to offer. 7 of us for a girls weekend! Home is exactly as described, the kitchen's had everything we needed to cook n prep for the extended weekend. Beds and pillows were comfy, but no heavy blankets on any of the beds so we had to go into town to buy our own!!

This was a really nice property. We had a great vacation. I gave the property 4 stars on cleanliness only because our socks got dirty when we walked across the living room and kitchen floors. Otherwise everything was excellent.

JMU Family Weekend

Property is in the quiet area of the Four Seasons Resort space. Unfortunately, we were unable to check in on the original date and lost one day of our 3-day stay (weren’t able to be credited for the day although communicated more than a week in advance) due to the rain storms. The home is an old build but the interior is modern enough space. Nice getaway to spend time with family especially if you’re lookin to make a drive to the colleges—only a 25 min drive. .
