We were a family of 10 there for Thanksgiving. The large dining table was perfect. The house is very large so fit all of us very comfortably. The game room is amazing! Bedrooms were a neat, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was pretty well equipped though more bowls are needed, some sharp knives and a couple of frying pans would be very useful. Scratched teflon isn't safe to cook on. Also, some serving utensils would be useful. Hooks or towel bars are needed in the bathrooms and it would be good to have the cleaning staff fill the hand soap bottles. These are super minor improvements. We would absolutely rent this house again!

Overall fantastic property! the view from the porch was incredible and the house was beautiful. Sadly Wi-Fi was out all weekend but didn't mind being unplugged.

Good space for our large group

Great space to have a bigger group. Plenty of beds and open areas. Game room was a great place to spend time. However, we did not having hot water for the first 1.5 days of our long weekend stay.

Very big house that accommodated a lot of people without feeling like we were on top of each other. We couldn’t get the TVs to work, which was a minor inconvenience. But other than that, it’s a great place to stay.

Skiing fun

What a treat to stay in such a magnificent home. Great fun to just look around and appreciate the scale and attention to detail that is everywhere. Great comforts and utility made our stay so enjoyable. Thank you!

yearly snowmobile trip

We had a wonderful time at the Beautiful, Spacious Grand Blanc Mountain home. This is our annual trip with friends and family to go snowmobiling in the White Mountains. We have stayed previously and we could not wait to come back!The house is large with enough bedrooms for 12 and 5 bathrooms which is great if you want some privacy or you can get together and and accommodates a large group with a great kitchen and massive game room for entertainment . When we were not cooking meals together, we were in the game room having fun! Cant wait until next year. Thank you for having us back

Great house for a large gathering

Stayed here for our family reunion. The views were stunning, accommodations great. The kitchen was well stocked. The only issue we had was that the WiFi was not great.

Have been going to this house for years and it's perfect for our group. The communication with the owner is always clear and the house is always clean. There was a huge increase in price this year and unfortunately the house isn't being maintained. The grill is completely burnt out and unusable. There's also a number of deck railings that were either missing or broken - which is a huge concern for the kids in our group. Every recliner in the game room is broken and essentially unusable. There was at least 2-3 broken chairs / stools in other seating areas in the house that were broken and unusable as well. Really wish they were making the necessary updates and addressing basic maintenance issues considering the significant jump in price. Unfortunately we'll be looking at additional properties for our annual trip in 2026

Annual Trip

From the very first trip. To now our 4th visit. Our closest friends and family have rented this home and every time it never disappoints. If you are looking to be off the grid and have the amenities of a hotel, but also be close to a major town if needing something. Look no further. This is the home you should rent. The best!

Excellent Property for Groups

We were a large group of friends staying at this property and it had more than enough space for everyone. It was a beautiful property and well maintained. The house is also incredibly well sound-proofed and it was easy for some folks to sleep even while others used the home theater room. I would recommend this property to others looking for a place to accommodate a group.

Beautiful Spacious Home

Awesome time at this home! A lot of space to spread out in and beautiful atmosphere. What an awesome view. It was close by to a lot of places we were going to. The huge game room with the movie projector was a definite plus. Would definitely stay here again.

40th birthday get away

Spacious, clean. Tons of games to play in their game room. Only down side is extremely spotty WiFi but that’s it. Other than that we had a wonderful time.

mountain top birthday

We have stayed in this home two years in a row for my husband's birthday. The home has everything you could possibly want for a family reunion in terms of comfort, supplies and by far the best game room ever (for teenagers on up). Also loads of places to explore in this area of New Hampshire (if you want to leave ). Perfect for all ages - and the view of the mountains is unmatched.

Great Family/Friends Snowmobile Trip

What a wonderful house! We entertained family and friends at this house and had such a great time. The communication between the property management and myself were top notch with all our questions about the house answered and also an Easy check in. Thank you Lois! The location was great, and the house was large enough where we all had our privacy to spread out and also have wonderful meals together. The game room was where we spent most of our time. The views from this house were amazing! We couldn't ask for a better vacation in the snow.

The house was great except the TVs didn't work and we were not offered any kind of compensation.

The house and property were great. It could use a hot tub. The only bad thing was that the TVs were not working and we were offered no compensation for them not working.

Great Rental

Overall, what an amazing place, Well kept and very clean. Internet was kind of unreliable, didn't reach a lot of places but we made due. Biggest complaint, I reached out by text to 2 different numbers but never got a response. They weren't big issues, but still. I've been renting thru VRBO for many years and this is by far my family's favorite.

The perfect Thanksgiving family getaway!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing time at this sprawling, beautiful home! Spending Thanksgiving with our extended family here was absolutely perfect. Everything is exactly as described—but even better in person. The home was clean, stunning, and had plenty to keep everyone entertained. We loved cooking together in the spacious kitchen and spent hours enjoying the theater and game room, which was a huge hit for all ages. The views from the top of the mountain were breathtaking—absolutely stunning and the perfect backdrop for our family gathering. What we loved most was how much privacy everyone had. Each family member had their own private bedroom and cozy seating areas, so we could relax and unwind whenever we wanted. It was the perfect balance of togetherness and personal space. Lois was fantastic! She communicated promptly and always answered our calls when we had questions. During a snowstorm, we lost power, but the generator kicked in seamlessly, allowing us to continue our festivities without a hitch. We truly loved this home and can’t wait to book it again! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable getaway with incredible views, spacious accommodations, and plenty of privacy.

Amazing house in a private setting--for memory-making!

This is an amazing house in a private, wooded setting. While we agree with many prior reviews and a couple of the games/systems were not fully functional while we were there, this was an excellent place to create life-long memories with loved-ones. Each day started with an amazing sunrise over the white mountains! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool table, ping-pong, foosball, and air hocky in the great room. We relaxed by the fireplace while some family memories performed tunes on the grand piano. We also enjoyed walking around the property and sledding down the hill. The kitchen was very well equipped with a wide range of pots, pans, electric griddles, dishes, and spices, etc.. There is also amazing wood work and unique decor that enhances the house and setting. Note: The popcorn popper takes the 4 oz size popcorn packages (if you want to buy the pre-packaged type to bring).

Xmas House

We always go away after Christmas to spend time as a family together, relax, open gifts, and play games. This huge house was perfect. The kids loved the game room for watching movies and playing air hockey, pool, foosball, and just running around. Lots of room to spread out. There were some issues as with any house. Internet was non-existent. We could not stream Netflix, etc. Communication with property manager was poor since it would take days to answer any questions prior to arrival and very limited during our stay. Recliners in game room were not in the best shape, obviously abused by prior guests. Fireplace and TV in master bedroom was not working and many lightbulbs needed to be replaced throughout. Downstairs bedrooms were worn. Despite all of this, we loved the house and had a great time. There was so much room to spread out. There are no kid friendly items such as plastic cups and plates, crib, or a pack n play. The kids did have a blast sledding on the hill right out front. It really is a beautiful, spacious house that needs a little bit of an update.
