We loved this property, especially the outdoor space with a pool, hot tub and TV! We also loved the location and convenience of walking to many restaurants, including the bikes, they too were a hit! All of us with a tv in our room enjoyed a quiet place. Probably the top like is it’s a short walk to the beach! With part of my family flying, having beach chairs and towels were great! Thank you very much for thinking of so many things !

It was a fantastic house for our extended family of 13. The kitchen was very well equipped, much more than what we expected. So many beach toys, bikes, and chairs! Plenty of seating inside and outside. Short walk to the beach or pier (to get pizza/ice cream). Loved the ice maker, extra drink fridge, grill, pool and hot tub. Everything was exactly as advertised (or better!).

The house and property have everything and more for families to enjoy on their vacation. Very clean home and surroundings. Perfect location to beach and restaurants. The pool is perfect place to be all day especially if you’re not a beach person. Plenty of parking for large families plus room for golf cart if you choose to rent one. The inside of the home is very roomy and comfortable. It made you feel welcome. Great communication by the hosts. And they are very very friendly and offer a lot of suggestions for local events and dining.

My family had a great time at our stay in Surfside. We have been visiting and staying in Surfside beach for years. It is our favorite area of Myrtle Beach. The house was very well equipped with everything needed inside the house. There was also an abundance amount of pool, beach and outdoor items that came in handy. The host of the house was very nice however, we experienced several problems throughout or stay as relates to privacy. We felt very uncomfortable to learn of all cameras located on the property. We felt as if we were being watched. Security is appreciated but this goes beyond that. We also had the host show up there without any prior notification and were surprised to walk downstairs and see him there. We also saw him around the property another time while we were there. The day we were to check out by 10am, he was driving around the house several times well before our checkout time. I would not rent this property again due to these reasons.

Well glad you enjoyed the home. But let tell the truth now ., Your mad with your stay because you and your guest were smoking in my home and under the beach home ! The smart home sensors inside reported it and the Ai cameras outside caught you smoking also. Then I emailed you through Vrbo and told you no smoking at this 1.5 Million dollars home. Then you emailed me about the hot tub knob flow off but not your fault. Wrong it was pried off and broke the threads . And I told you I will be by the home Wednesday to clean the pool & hot tub & service both and you said okay in the email. And you got mad I came Wednesday to clean & service the pool & hot tub. Yes I drove by the house Saturday morning @9:30am when I got to town. Never stopped I went to the park and came to the home at 9:55am . You also broke the hot tub knob, bent up 3 shower curtain rods, broke 1 tv remote. Not one guest has ever damaged one thing but you did ! You need respect for our home which you don’t have. We are bill for the damages.,Thank you.🏖️

The maximum the house will sleep is 16. The sofa with cover on it folds out to a Queen bed, and there is a trundle bed in the bunk bedroom. Also the upstairs loft/ game area couch will sleep a young child. Glad you enjoyed your stay.

Surfside Staycation

The Chime felt like home! It had a well stocked kitchen. Plenty of space for multiple families. The owner made checking in and out so simple. The home was clean and a wonderful outdoor living space. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to anyone interested in staying at Surfside.

Amazing vacation!!!

The house has everything you need and located in walking distance to the beach, restaurants, ice cream shop, pier, and parks. Lots of amenities to enjoy from the pool, to hot tub, fire pit, beach chairs, umbrellas, corn hole, games, pellet ice machine(which my kids loved) and lots more. The owners are so easy to deal with and were quick to respond. We met several of the locals that live in the area and they were so nice and welcoming. We will most definitely be vacationing here again!

Excellent Family Vacation Experience!

The house is a few blocks away from the beach (7min walk!) that’s easily walkable for the entire family (18mos - 57yo)! Provided ALLL the beach equipment including wagons, coolers, sand toys, boogie boards, etc. Even the swimming pool was equipped with various age appropriate toys and googles. Grills and smoker worked wonderfully and hot tub was nice on the “cooler” nights. House was a good size and first floor living space was large enough to accommodate meals and evening wind down. Only con would be the couch was more comfortable than a few of the beds. Host was responsive when contacted and had all the finishing touches for a relaxing fun vacation!

Loved it! We had a group of 8 ranging from 15 to 83 years old for a week at the beach. House had everything (and then some!) that we needed for a great vacation. Kitchen is seriously stocked. Enough beach toys, chairs, etc. for a huge group. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all great and there is plenty of space to spread out.The pool area was just right and we hung out here a bunch. Hot tub area is cozy and inviting. Walk to the beach was easy, even for the three 80 year olds in our group. Beach was outstanding (we were there 4 days). Deborah is a great owner and so responsive. I can’t say enough nice things about her and the experience.We’d go back in a second. Don’t pass it up!

Amazing Rental

A group of family and friends came down for a baseball tournament and had an awesome stay. The house was everything we hoped it would be and was well stocked with all the things that made our vacation rental feel like home. The house had a clean fresh feel and smell, all the beach equipment you needed, and the kids of all ages loved the basketball hoop in the pool. The surround sound speakers and lights outside set the scene for a great time, the flowers outside made us feel like we were in a tropical location, and after a long day at the ballpark the pool and hot tub took away all the stress. Despite our large group we all had plenty of room to relax and sleep. The Drake’s were great host and easy to communicate with. We will definitely visit Chime Inn again.

Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chime Inn. The property was just as it shows. We had plenty of room and plenty of space for everyone. The check in process was great.The house is beautifully decorated. The only problem we saw was the stairs maybe could have been vacuumed, otherwise the home is great. It has wood floors throughout except on the steps going upstairs.This will not deter us from staying there again as we really loved the home and it's proximity to the beach.We look forward to returning again. The host responds very quickly to any needs. Thanks and see you again soon.

Tropical Storm Debby!!

So thankful for Deborah and her communication with us before and during our stay- we arrived on Saturday August 3, prepared and assured by our host that we would remain safe in her rental! There was no flooding on her property as she mentioned, and we didn’t lose power. The home kept us entertained and dry, and we spent the entire rainy week enjoying and working from the house! We even had a friendly neighbor checking in on us, and we were able to stay one extra night to enjoy the sun that finally came out Saturday, the 10th….Thank you for everything, and we really hope to be back next year!!

We had a problem with the jacuzzi jets in the master bath and called Mr. Mike who was there the next day to make a repair even though it was certainly something we could do without! The pool and hot tub waters were checked and balanced mid week, which being a pool and hot owner myself, I know is important….if we knew ahead of time what time that would be done, that would have been helpful to not have swimmers in the pool. The price point seems high, however, all beach property rentals are to me. All amenities are there - from bikes to hot tub, to pool toys to grills to beach accessories and more AND things are in good shape and useable (which matters)! The outdoor area is the most beautiful and energetic one around that I saw in the entire area!! The location is perfect for walking or golf carting to the beach or to the pier or restaurants. We had seven kids ages 3-13 and they had the best time! There was plenty of sleep space for all of us (12). While I discuss very minor things above, I will say the memories made in this home will last a lifetime and we’re worth every penny spent and we hope they will have us back in two years!

Our vacation was wonderful and your beach house was a big part of that happening. The house was clean, roomy, and totally equipped for our needs. It was also conveniently place for a short walk to the beach, pier, restaurants, park and playground. We could have used more bed pillows and clothes closet room but we made it work for us. Thank you for providing all the beach toys and equipment. The games, bikes and Hot Tube were big hits for the whole family.

We really enjoyed our week at the Chime Inn!The house was perfect for our family and the Drakes were exceptional hosts! The house was very well furnished with many extras that you dont always find in a rental. Hope to come again!
