Family vacation destination

The beach was super close, and the heated pool was great for younger kids!! House is great for large families. Everyone had their own space.

Awesome Experience for Family!

This property is super close to the beach and even when it got chilly we were able to pay to heat the pool. It was SUPER helpful of such a huge space for a big group. We were able to all be under one space, but then seperate for quiet time. Would stay again!

Beach Vacation

Family vacation for all generations was easily enjoyed at this location. Convenient for the beach and restaurants. Easily had 2 cars and a golf cart parked here. Neighbors were all super friendly and helpful in recommendations for family outings. Would love to return.

Great place for the whole family

This was a great property for the whole family. With six bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms for everybody it was very comfortable. Would love to have in the pool in the shade on the pool in the afternoon. The one improvement I would make is put an outlet in the garage area to church golf carts with.

Excellent rental.

Would stay again. Only issue, didnt have all of our linens for beds when we arrived. Contacted owner and was resolved. Loved everything about this place. Only suggestion is think about replacing mattresses. Extremely worn.

Awesome space

We had a great stay at Hidden Beach. So close to the beach. Plenty of room. Lots of dishes. Pool is awesome. Host was easy to communicate with. Only had one issue with a TV. This was our second time renting this house and we Would return to it again.

Hidden beach

Loved our stay. We've rented nearby in Surfaide, but the quality of this rental far exceeded any of the others we've stayed at. The house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well equipped for big family meals... With plenty of room for everyone to sit. Towels were decent quality and plentiful (a real issue at other places!). We loved being so close to the beach and the pool was a perfect retreat, again with plenty of high quality seating (another issue at other rentals)! Last on my list of “wows” was the cleanliness. From every corner of the house, to the stairs leading up to the house, the carport and to the pool area, every corner was obviously well cleaned between rentals. Hoping for a repeat next summer!

This house had the perfect number of bedrooms (and beds) which is very hard to find for a big family. Location was perfect as well. The house was extremely clean with all the amenities we needed. The area around the pool was exceptionally nice and where we spent most of our time. Darren was quick to respond to any questions I had. We would definitely stay here again. Only downfall (which is unavoidable) is the parking under the house on the left side is very difficult to get out of but again nothing owner can do about this. Thank you for a great week. P.S. - a bigger trash can in the kitchen would have been nice. lol f

Great location and family experience

We recently stayed at Hidden Beach and it was wonderful. It was very accommodating to our large family. We took the trip with our entire family as we knew this may be one of the last trips we have with my mother as she is becoming more immobile with age. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was very inviting. It had everything you could need or want. We cooked every night and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. It’s as close to the beach as you can be without being ocean front. The neighborhood was so quaint and very much a family atmosphere. We participated in the golf cart parade to celebrate our veterans for Memorial Day, we celebrated my daughter’s HS graduation with a pool party, we worshipped together in the spacious living room on Sunday morning and we fished at the new Surfside pier. A trip we will never forget. Thank you Darren for being such a gracious host and answering our questions so timely. I would recommend Hidden Beach and hope we will return in the future!

Great house some issues

Listing pictures are from before remodel and the description was different from what is pictured. There are undisclosed security cameras pointing at the pool and towards the door of the outside shower. Kinda odd.. When we were there there was a large hole under the main floor bathroom with moldy drywall hanging down into the parking area. Seems like maintenance is lacking.. The last night of our stay the air conditioner totally quit Overall the house is nice but seems like a lack of upkeep. Several of us are having respitory issues from the mold infiltration in the main floor bathroom

Glad you had an overall good stay. A few notes about the cameras and exterior drywall. The Cameras are for exterior security only, the camera was not facing the outdoor shower(the shower has a door that blocks all views), it was facing the double door storage room. We have disclosed the use of the cameras now. A toilet leaked the week prior to your stay, which caused the drywall to drop(underside of exterior of house- not in the living areas), the owners were coming the week after to repair it. The toilet was repaired prior to your stay. HVAC was repaired within 2 hrs of the notice you provided. Unfortunately in extreme heat, hvac failures occur.

Perfect stay!

This home was amazing. We typically rent homes up to twice a year at Surfside and this has been one of the cleanest we have stayed in for about the past three years! The parking accommodated four cars without any issues! We also had three gas golf carts and there was still plenty of room! Hidden Beach is truly a great home and location. We couldn't have asked for anything better!

Two families enjoyed the Sweeney’s hidden beach property! It was a wonderful and inviting home ! We enjoyed the pool , their home and the short walk to the beach .

Politics ruined our stay

We were so excited to rent this home. It was pricey but we felt lucky to have it and it’s ideally located and spacious. Unfortunately, the moment we drove up, we were assaulted with a HUGE trump banner permanently attached to the front balcony! I don’t usually care about differing political opinions, but I felt this venue misrepresented itself. No where in the advertised pictures was there a Trump banner! If I had seen that in the picture, there is no way I would pay to stay there. My family and friends felt violated. We had to go in and out of that place as if that banner represented our belief system. I have zero tolerance for anyone who supports criminal behavior that threatens our democracy and our equal rights under the law of our great nation. I feel sick that we supported the owners of this building who clearly support a a criminal who widely spreads misinformation. Placing political propaganda, much like religious propaganda, at a rental is rude and inappropriate. Especially because it was not in the actual advertisement. I hope the owners can be a bit more considerately their guests given we spent our hard earned money on this toxic environment.

Beach Week with Friends

This house was perfect for our group of 12! The listing description of rooms & amenities was accurate, but the house was even better than expected! The rooms were spacious and accommodating, the living space was larger than expected, and the outdoor space was perfect with the pool and grill! The beach was literally right across the street, which was perfect for quick trips in for lunch or snacks. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone interested, and our group will be back again!

Nice Family Vacation

Wonderful Vacation Location

The house was beautiful, clean, spacious, accommodating and overall a perfect vacation rental home. The beach is a very short walk and the private pool area was nice. The house is in a great location near restaurants, bars, and shopping. We would definitely recommend this home for the perfect vacation.
