Tidy and cozy rustic cabin. Loved the sauna with shower - water was still warm for showering the next day! Hosts were very responsive and helpful. With the cooler weather, the hosts started the stoves ahead of our arrival - very thoughtful! We will definitely be staying here again.
We loved our stay! The hosts were very responsive with questions before our visit. We took full advantage of School house beach which is just down the road. We then enjoyed warming our bones in the sauna and a warm shower. The creek on the property provided ample play for everyone This cabin’s location was perfect for all our daytime adventures throughout the UP
Awesome place! The only thing you need to bring is the ability to light a fire. If you love your space, this is definitely the place for you. Would recommend to anyone. Hosts are prompt and informative.
Exactly as described. Cabin had the rustic feel of a deer camp, which is what we expected. We were apprehensive about the woodstove, but it became a cozy comfort that we're now missing. We enjoyed our hot showers in the warm sauna - awesome treat. Reviews & comments were helpful so we could bring along our creature comfort items.
Our family enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was clean (including the outhouse) and had what we needed to enjoy a bit of seclusion. The sauna was our favorite part of our stay. And the hosts provided excellent recommendations for food and places to visit. Thank you!
Such a nice little cabin. We weren't able to enjoy the sauna because of our short stay but it looked really cool. We did really make use of the wood stove inside the cabin. We was very grateful for that. The fact that we could take my mom's dog was wonderful! The owners provided everything you'd need to be comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the bonfire pit and the awesome wood supply even though we didn't use it. We'd love to come back some day. It was a great experience!
Secluded rustic cabin within easy driving of all the attractions of the peninsula. The suana shower was a great way to start the day. Cabin needed a few more screens in the windows. Very private location great for the dogs. No inside bathroom. Not a problem for us though. We would stay here again

The cabin was in a nice location. The driveway needs a little maintenence. It was rough driving in and out. The cabin over all reminded me of our hunting shack, but with an upgrade.
It was nice for us because we didnt need anything fancy. The cabin was private, relaxing, close to our favorite beach and we had everything we needed to enjoy our get away. We all slept very well and enjoyed the no use of electric devices for a few days.
This location served as an excellent escape. It is a beautiful spot surrounded by natural scenery, offering peace and tranquility. I particularly enjoyed the sauna, with the added surprise of a remarkable shower within the sauna itself.
It waz exactly as presented. Nothing fancy, but everything you need.saw the best show of northern lights we have ever seen. Sat up all night watching themWe loved the sauna. We alzo
Great little place. Cute and quaint. The sauna was a great addition. The weather was gorgeous but it brought out a ton of flies in the little cabin. Plan to heat up hot water on the wood stove, stove top, or bring from warm sauna for dishes ect. The stove top worked but the oven is not operational. Fit our needs perfect.
