It is a genuine pleasure to have such a delightful and considerate guest.
I was very pleased and loved my stay at Blue Note Garden. Theresa's home is beautifully maintained, cozy, and provided a peaceful atmosphere. Blue Note's stunning surroundings make it easy to relax and unwind, while being perfectly positioned for downtown access and access to UT Medical nearby. Theresa was a delightful host, and it was a joy to meet her and to stay here. Highly recommend!
I can’t thank Theresa enough for the haven she has created. It’s just the medicine my soul was looking for. And I’m so glad the owls are still neighbors!
Blue Note Garden is a beautiful apartment and had everything I needed. The property is quiet and relaxing. I relocated to TN and stayed for one month while looking for a rental. Theresa was the perfect host. The location is convenient to navigate Knoxville and the surrounding are. I would definitely stay again!!
Thank you for helping our daughter’s start to graduate school get off to a great start. Knowing that she had a quiet, safe place to come back to after class was very reassuring. Her short stay with you while she waited for her apartment to be ready was great! Thank you for your excellent communication and flexibility.

It was a pleasure to have your daughter as our guest.
I was greeted by the owner upon arrival and treated like family. She immediately welcomed me and gave me orientation to where everything was and how to use the ammenities. She made me feel very comfortable then she left me alone to enjoy myself. The apartment was perfect. My stay was lengthy with no problems. No bugs. No water pressure problems. No hot water problems. No problems whatsoever. Bed was comfy. Fireplace was warm and super easy to use. Jacuzzi was amazing. Grounds were beautiful. Parking was private and easily accessible. Neighborhood was super safe with a beautiful park to walk, sun, fish and enjoy anytime. Washer and dryer is onsite too. I will not be staying anywhere else.
Thank you Teresa for making Mike's stay VERY comfortable. He recommended your place to business he was working with in the area. Hopefully other business men will stay because it's very comfortable and home like.
The property is clean and cosy. The surroundings are serene and quiet. This was exactly where I needed to stay. Theresa is easy to reach and made me feel at home.

Thomas settled in so well here that when he called to make his departure we had almost forgotten he was here: He left the apartment in perfect order. So sorry we did not have snow while he was here--snow turns the garden surroundings into a magical landscape. It was certainly cold enough for it. Brrrr!
About the host
Hosted by Theresa P, Owner
We are a builder/artist and a musician/writer married for 42 years who are both in the midst of preparing for some degree of retirement from full time professional occupations. With the recent renovation of our large home, our goal is to provide our guests a beautiful, quiet, comfortable, safe and serene place for rest or study. We are also conscientious in terms of energy efficiency, environmental safety and sustainability since we believe that every person must do everything he or she can to contribute to the stewardship of our world. We live here at Blue Note Garden and make every effort to ensure your stay is a pleasant and productive one.
Why they chose this property
We found Blue Note Garden just after selling a 17-acre horse farm on the West side of town. We loved the barns and seven-gabled Victorian Gothic farmhouse we built on that property but we also spent a great deal of time repairing farm machinery and mowing pastures. While we miss the farm and all of its animals, Blue Note Garden has no grass to mow, four seasons of wildflowers, and the house is as solid as the rock it is built on. We cannot imagine living anywhere else.
What makes this property unique
Quiet, peaceful and yet close-in to town. Amazing construction and design with breathtaking views of waterfall and woodland gardens. Safe, established neighborhood with exterior security system for driveway and doorway alerts.
