I stayed here for a month for a med school rotation. I would say that the apartment itself was pretty nice and clean. The location was excellent and the host was very responsive to our needs. We stayed in the summer and the AC units both worked very well. Also, there was pretty good storage for a longer stay.I only have a few complaints—the kitchen equipment could be better if it is truly a listing available for long term stays (better pans, pots, spices, etc). While there is a couch, there isn’t a coffee table or desk to use, so the main living area felt pretty sparse and hard to enjoy. I kind of felt myself trying to leave to study/hang out rather than spend more time at the apartment because of this. The apartment complex itself was not my favorite—there were definitely some interesting residents there and some smells that permeated the entryway. Occasionally these could be smelt from our apartment. I also noticed that it was pretty loud from time to time, but never anything that disrupted my sleep or studies. Overall it was pretty good, but definitely some stuff that could be improved. I think this place would be most ideal for a shorter stay.

The property owner was very receptive to our requests. The apt did not have central air, the bedroom was hot so he had a window unit installed. We appreciated this so much!

The host was amazing and responsive. But I did not realize the room was on a 3rd floor with no elevator. Due to my situation I had 3 suitcases and a carry on to take up 3 flights of stairs at midnight. I grew up in Omaha, and while this is not the worst area, it's also not the best. The hallway when I arrived absolutely wreaked of whatever someone else was cooking. There was a smear on the couch that looked like peanut butter, so I never sat on it. A smear on the bedroom wall that looked like fingers smearing makeup, the shower curtain had a dark spot where you could tell repeated people were pulling on it, and the bathroom vanity is peeling. The host was great and very responsive, but I would not stay again had I known all of this.
