Una encantadora cabaña con una impresionante vista de 180 grados de la Bahía de Monterey ofrece lo mejor de todos los mundos en Pacific Grove, cerca de la playa, pero también a un corto paseo del centro de Pacific Grove, el histórico Cannery Row y otras atracciones.

La casa que admite mascotas de 930 pies cuadrados (un perro pequeño de hasta 15 libras) está directamente cruzando la calle desde la playa y el sendero recreativo de Monterey, y está a solo unos pasos de la espectacular Lover’s Point. Se pueden encontrar pisos de madera noble y paredes de tablas y listones en toda la casa, así como iluminación vintage.

La cocina soleada también es un recordatorio agradable de épocas pasadas, pero se ha mejorado con electrodomésticos nuevos, que incluyen una estufa de gas, horno de pared y lavaplatos. La mesa de comedor adyacente con capacidad para seis también está al lado de un gran ventanal.

El dormitorio principal cuenta con una cama queen y un gran armario. Un baño con bañera / ducha combinadas se encuentra junto a las dos habitaciones. El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama king que se puede convertir en dos gemelas, así como un baño adjunto con ducha.

Seeing all the wildlife in the ocean was amazing as well as walking/jogging along the ocean path daily. A 3 minute walk to Lovers Point Beach for a quick cool dip early morning was especially welcomed and beautiful. The lemon tree in the back yard was another very happy and unexpected surprise. Loaded with ripe lemons! So beautiful and bountiful! It was close to restaurants and grocery stores, parking in front of our house was never a problem, even on Labor Day.We could not have been happier in our month long stay next to the waters edge. Would book again.

We have just returned from our fourth January staying in this adorable yellow cottage and we love it. It is full of personality and the location is ideal for walking to town, to Lovers Point, or the gorgeous coastal trail in both directions! It isn’t huge and it isn’t fancy, but it is charming, for sure. Perfect for people who are not extra large, as some areas are rather tight. That said, we were perfectly happy and comfy and have booked it for 2025!

For bikers, you can store your bicycles in the garage and ride down the alley to easily access bike trails. Things we especially loved about this home were the many windows, giving stellar views up and down the coast. The backyard was sunny and private. The house had some tiny, tight spots, but it worked well for us. We’ve already booked it for next year!

Reviewer Comments: Needed a change of scenery from several months in the same home office setup, and stay happened to coincide with horrible smoke from fires. Very happy to have a nearby escape for the month. On arrival, saw wildlife galore (deer, squirrels, harbor seals, and otters). Convenient 5-min walk to kayak rentals and beautiful Lovers Point park. Easy walk to both Cannery Row and Asilomar beach.Place was extremely comfortable and had everything you would need at home. Don't bother with the extras (e.g., binoculars, chairs, grill, towels, cooking stuff, picnic stuff, etc.). And very nice and clean. Loved it and will look to book again.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house has a spectacular view. I could have stayed another month and spent my days staring out at the ocean. But it was extremely expensive for a rental in the condition it is in. Despite assurances on the Serenity website that the house has been thoroughly cleaned to Covid protection standards, the floor was so dirty it turned a mop (which I asked management to buy for me) black with each swipe; the towels were stained and old; the sheets were worn; the umbrella in the back yard was broken; there was so much dust under the beds, on a hardwood floor, that when I turned a fan on one night the room became a dust bowl; the dishes and silverware all had to pulled from the cupboards and washed (stained coffee cups, food on silverwear and a few plates, dirty pots); there were cigarette butts in the backyard; the sofa had stains; the walls were filthy; the toilet requires two visits from a plummer... You get the picture. For $7K, I spent more time cleaning and maintaining than enjoying. The management company did credit the cleaning fees, and offered to send cleaners in again (which we weren’t comfortable with mid-pandemic), but nobody called me, ever, to discuss my concerns. But oh, that view. And the house, has it been clean and kept up, was adorable.

Ocean beauty!

Location was excellent. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Beautiful ocean front windows to see whales and sea lions. We loved the views! Home was dated but acceptable!

Perfect location

This was our first trip to Pacific Grove and we found everything we wanted easily accessible. The house was perfect, right on the water, seal watching right from our front steps (and a pod of dolphins, sea otters, etc). Big Sur and Point Lobos are easy drives, and many roadside parks make for fun and easy hikes. A trail across the street lead for miles in each direction for runs, walk to a coffee and breakfast spot just up the street. Everyone from Sanctuary was excellent. This made for a top notch experience!

March 2017 Stay

Beautiful view in a very comfy setting

This property is very well maintained and spacious enough for a family. The backyard is awesome for little dogs, no way for them to escape. Great for our toddler too. You are steps from Lover's Point beach and restaurant which make this home the perfect place to stay. The view of the ocean from the dining and living room are amazing. You simply cannot go wrong staying here. The bed was super comfortable for a back or side sleeper. The close proximity to the supermarket or canary row make this a wonderful spot to spend a vacation. We would absolutely stay here again. We thank the owner's for sharing their beautiful home with us and others.

Great location right on the beach

You can not beat the location of this house. You are directly across from the beach with amazing views while eating breakfast at the table, sitting on the couch in the living room, or in the chairs out front. Just a short drive from food, golf, and the aquarium. We would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

This is a beautiful cottage

This cottage is just wonderful. My daughters and I hated to leave. The views are amazing, the location perfect. Management made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. This is a little gem...you won't be disappointed. We look forward to coming back!

Perfect Vacation Home

A wonderful home with incredible views of Monterrey Bay. The living areas offer continual views of the kelp forests and sea otters, along with binoculars to zoom in on spouting whales. The fireplace took the chill off in the morning (a furnace is also available), and open windows kept the house comfortable later in the day. The kitchen is well furnished; we had breakfast, and half of our mid-day and evening meals there. Beds were comfortable, dressing closets very handy, and bathrooms were well stocked. The washer and dryer in the garage were appreciated. After a day of viewing tide pools, driving down PCH 1, going whale watching, or hiking around the bay, having tea in the living room and still enjoying the view is marvelous. Thank you for sharing your home.

Amazing Views and Super location

Pacific grove - awesome

The location and view couldn't be any better. We sat on the chairs out front everyday. Everything is really comfortable and there is a lot of closet space too. It's an older house but very well maintained. Backyard is an added feature and the washer machine and dryer worked well too! I was happy hanging out at the house and taking walks from there. We took our little senior dog and she loved going across the street and exploring on the paths. Property managers are great! So close to anything you want to do. Walked to town & cannery row. Close to 17mile drive etc.

Five star views. House is well kept and staff is excellent

We stayed here for 8 days and had a fabulous time. The views from the house are spectacular and all we had to do is cross the street to access the paths along the shore. We saw seals, whales and lots of birds. The flowers were blooming all along the coast. The house has everything you need,. We couldn't give it five stars because we have stayed in more modern and roomier houses The furniture decor is relatively new and attractive, but there were no comfortable places to sit and watch TV. The beds were very comfortable. We plan to return.
