House was perfect for our large family. We loved the pool and hot tub. The playground and fire pit were an added bonus. We appreciated the fenced in yard for the kids to play. Our host was very quick to reply with any of our questions. Kitchen area was great for cooking and sitting around the large table. Bedrooms were roomy with comfy beds. Lots of extra beds for the kids. We would definitely book again.

This is the absolute perfect vacation home. It was very clean and well appointed and beautifully decorated and comfortable. The host was very responsive and had a basketball sent to us when it was missing. The pool was a great size with lots of toys and a slide. A great playground. Plenty of seating, dishes, towels, rooms and space. It worked out very well for our vacation. Great proximity to everything in the area. We would stay here again next time we come to the area. Thank you for a lovely week.

My family of 15, (6 adults and kids from 10 & up) had a great time! The property is even better than described. The kitchen is equipped with two refrigerators, two dishwashers & I think the dining table can accommodate 20. The backyard is great - with the beautiful pool, hot tub, fire pit & nice yard with room to play volleyball & bucket golf. It’s a perfect place for a big family. The owner was very responsive & seems to have thought of everything we could possibly need! We loved it.

We came here for a family vacation with 13 of us. The location was perfect being close to many small towns. House was beautiful on a large property. Kitchen and dining area amazing. Outdoor space with pool and hot tub was perfect. Large playset was perfect for the little ones. Used fire pit area every night. Teenagers and young adults enjoyed going to Cherry Beach which was approximately 1 1/2 miles from the house. We have rented at least 4 other VRBO properties over the years for family trips and this was by far the one that everyone enjoyed the most.

An amazing place for a family and large groups! The house was so spacious, beautiful inside and out, great layout with all that you needed for your stay. We used every part of the house from the kitchen, dining, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit. It was super clean and very modern. Loved the outdoor area where we spent a lot of time. Was quiet and beautiful. Very close to all the breweries and places you wanted to visit. Check in was super easy and the host was great to communicate with. Great place!

Family fun!

Fun for all ages! What a great way to get away and stay together. We’ve taken the grands to Disney but lacked time engaging in activities together. This weekend filled that gap! Bring a crockpot or air fryer, those were the only appliances we may have used that weren’t available.

Harbert House

We really enjoyed our stay at the Harbert House. The house was nicely decorated with a large open area in the kitchen/living room where our group of 7 adults could gather together. The outside area with beautiful pool, hot tub and fire pit was just what we were looking for! Although we did not have any children along, this house had a great outdoor playground and game room inside that all would enjoy. The owner, Lukasz was quick to respond to any questions we had. Hope to stay here again.

Amazing home in every possible way!

We’ve been renting homes through VRBO for over a decade and this home was hands down the best rental experience we have ever had. They have literally thought of every detail! There is nothing lacking and everything is high quality and lovely. Our kids were literally screaming with joy and excitement when we arrived due to the choice of rooms the pool hot tub games and toys. We will definitely be back. Great quiet location but our teesns were easily able to bike to the beach.

Family Vacation

Our trip to Harbert was to celebrate our 40-year wedding anniversary with our adult children and young grandchildren. With that, the house was set up perfectly for our family. We utilized practically everything that this home offered and were appreciative of the detail the host went to in setting it up. The proximity to Cherry Beach was a bonus and only made our stay that much better. The pool setup was fantastic, as were the other play places for the grandkids. The spacious and open kitchen/dining area/family room provided a wonderful space for everyone to enjoy time together and to create many new memories. It’s not often that you can take a large family on a trip without a certain degree of stress and having to pivot on the fly. This trip was packed with relaxation and stress-free enjoyment, as we didn’t have to worry about a thing because it was all there for us. Thank you…

This home was perfect for our large family. Plenty of room for us to gather as one big group. The pool and playground provided fun for all the kids on our non-beach days. The owner was quick to respond to every question and provides everything you need from cribs to pool toys. The location provides easy access to all the Michigan activities. We would absolutely stay here again.

The property was perfect for my family of eight adults and seven children. Plenty of beds and bathrooms! Lots of games and toys for the children. Outdoor pool was just the right size. Nice playground and fire pit. Kitchen had everything you could need - including two dishwashers, two washers and two dryers which we made use of. And a dining table that sat our entire group! I have rented many, many houses over the past years and this one was by far the best! Thank you!

House was perfect for families and larger groups. Plenty of space and bedrooms were great with connected bathrooms. Pool and outdoor area exceeded expectations. Kitchen and appliances were top notch and the huge dining table and living space made for a perfect gathering space. Very clean, updated, and more amenities than you could ask for. 5 stars all the way.

Took our adult kids/SIL&DIL and grandkids for a week vacation near New Buffalo (about 8 miles away). The house is incredible for a large family oriented vacation stay ...with six bedrooms, four full bathrooms, open concept family room, kitchen, dining area and an additional sitting area, as well as a game room and play area for the kids, the inside couldn't be any more accommodating. Additionally, the outside patio/deck with a sizable pool, large swing set/ playhouse, volleyball/badminton court and campfire area, there's plenty to keep everyone entertained.
