The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place keys back into lock box upon leaving.
Please remove all food from refrigerator, & place all trash from the cottage into the outside garbage cans. Please empty bathroom pail and bedroom pail as well.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No outdoor loud music as per town ordinance after 10pm. The neighbors will call town police and the renter will be responsible for all fees

We had such a wonderful time during our stay, thanks to Sandra's excellent hospitality. She was extremely helpful, knowledgable, and accommodating throughout our entire stay. Upon checking in, we found a beautiful welcome card and local treats left for us alongside an incredibly informative binder detailing any and all information relevant to the property, attractions in town, and fabulous restaurant recommendations. Sandra's cottage was comfortable, cozy, safe, and tidy. We are very grateful to have stayed here, with her as our host.

Great location, bed and pillows great. Very comfortable. Could use better TV channels. As well as a beach pass. A/C was excellent. Kitchen and bath room were okay, too!We would recommend to others.

Short walk to a beautiful beach

This sweet cottage is in a charming community, walking distance to a beautiful LI Sound beach. You can walk for miles on this beach connecting with nature. The cottage is in an ideal location for your exploration of the North Fork, with easy access to the South Fork as well. Perfect place for a couple to call home for a month. My elder brother and I used the bedroom and pull-out trundle couch/bed in the living room - both were cozy and comfortable. We loved sitting on the porch listening to the birds every morning.

This is a very unique home. (Esp. to our family: As several members had shopped here in their Youth, when it sold cold cuts, Italian ices and other staples to the Reeves summer community, at a time BEFORE people had telephones on their kitchen walls or hot water in their bungalows. ) Late Sept. 2025, we hosted two gatherings for the Mighty Collaborating Artists in our family and their entire Support Crew who did the heavy-lifting in bringing their displays to Hallockville Festival.Everybody enjoyed this wonderful cottage which was perfect in every way possible for the "after-parties" on Saturday night (7 people) and Sunday (8). Some folks stayed over, which means the 3rd generation to experience this house now LOVES sleeping in the LOFT. The kitchen, dining area, & extra fridge, were very well suited for entertaining. Sandra's welcome-guidelines explained everything. Household switches and remotes were all (brilliantly) labelled to ensure maximum comfort. (Some days were over 80; One night, it went down to 38.)Such a well-stocked, smartly-organized, fun, accessible, super-clean, & comfortable house this is!! The other Main Event? That would be the Long Island Sound. Are you a FIEND for beachcombing? or, ..Photographing STUNNING sunsets? Concerned about "adverse effects" of all your exertions climbing atop gigantic boulders? No worries. Why? You will sleep on the most comfortable master-bedroom mattress on the whole Eastern Seaboard!

Our Red cottage is truly a one of a kind property. One quarter acre of beautifully landscaped property surrounds our cottage which holds a special place in the Reeves community. Park Store as it was called for 40 yrs has a nostalgic feel throughout. We kept the original shelves that housed the groceries for customers to purchase. The doors are also original to the store. This is truly a special, one of a kind cottage & property.
