Bedroom 2 offers a Queen bed, Bedroom 3 offers two sets of twin bunk beds, and the 4th Bedroom offers a full sized bed. There are two family rooms; the lower family room walks out to a detached, covered grilling patio, and the upstairs family room has a pull-out sofa bed for additional sleeping room while overlooking the screened-in porch. This house was perfect for our visit. Right next to the boat ramp, area to park the boat over night and ample parking. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of space to relax after a long day on the water.

Overall, the house and location did not meet our expectations. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The house did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival (or in a long time). There were cobwebs throughout, dirty floors, quite a bit of dust, and a noticeable musty smell. There were also several maintenance issues, including window blinds that did not work, TV remotes with no batteries, and multiple burned-out light bulbs.We brought our boat, and unfortunately, the property was not very boat-friendly. The driveway was difficult to navigate with a truck and trailer, and the nearby boat ramp does not have a public dock, making passenger pickup and drop-off difficult. We were also told that trucks and trailers could not be parked near the boat slips or along the drive, and some of the slip members were not very welcoming toward non-members.Another downside was the evening noise, with kids driving golf carts around late into the night while yelling.Overall, between the cleanliness, maintenance issues, boating difficulties, and noise, we did not feel the property was worth the price.

House was great, lots of room. Very close to the water and a few minutes boat ride to Conley Bottom. We had three boats with our group and not enough parking on the property. We were able to park near ramp and leave two trucks and boats there , so not an issue. All the docks on the boat ramp were private and locked, so you have to pull up to the edge of the bank. Not an issue, just something to be aware of. Neighbors were not friendly about where we parked on the property. We had to move a few rocks to make a turn, that we moved back and the neighbors ripped us a new one. Owners were great and easy to communicate with. House was well stocked.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Mitch's father had a lake house in this neighborhood, and he grew up visiting White Oak on the weekends as a young kid. We love this community due to its central location on the Lake, proximity to Conley Bottom Marina and access to the water. There is no neighborhood in Lake Cumberland that has the private access to the water. Without a doubt the best place to have a lake home!

Dock Street Retreat has so many special amenities, but the waterfront location and proximity to boat slip, boat ramp and water is the best Cumberland has to offer. The wood paneled sunroom and screened in porch are also great characteristics of this home. Dock Street is also home to many fishing enthusiasts due to the optimal proximity to national fishing tournaments, seasonally. So whether you’re a weekend boater or a professional fisherman, Dock Street is the highest rated rental for the “Lake Life” we all love and enjoy.
