This home is strategically placed high up on the mountain overlooking Lake Raystown Resort just around the corner of Shy Beaver Boat Launch/Inlet. It includes 67 acres to enjoy with a 2 acre lawn for family games/activities, many of of which are provided. Whether enjoying the fire pit or hot tub overlooking the lake, or custom horseshoe pits, or just simply bird/game watching, our property will provide plenty of opportunities for recreation.

Nearly every room of the lodge, as well as the firepit, swing, and hot tub areas provide an incredible view of the lake. Included also is a massive deck facing the lake as well as a lower patio, both complete with outdoor seating. The property boasts one of the few usable lawns at nearly 2 acres level ground that would be perfect for medium-sized events. From the property there is direct access to walking/running/mountain biking/hiking trails without leaving the grounds.

The main floor includes the Master (King)Bedroom/Bath, Large living room with gas fireplace, Den, powder room, kitchen, dining room, and laundry. The upper floor contains two large bedrooms (each queen bed) with adjoining full bathrooms, pool table/game room. The lower level provides 3 bedrooms total; a kids bedroom (1 full, 3 twin), a second bedroom (queen bed), and a third bedroom (two full size beds), a full bathroom, and large living room. There is also a two car garage that can be used in the case of rain for dining and play. It is complete with gas grill, additional small kitchen appliances, fire pit cooking rack, 2 yard canopies, and an extra refrigerator. Some may be delighted to find that there is also an old fashioned ice cream maker, mountian pie irons and marshmallow/hot dog roasting sticks available to add to your activity list..

Guests may also find it convenient that there is ample cell signal at the lodge for most cellular providers. We also have wireless internet (10mbps). We have 4 flat screen TVs located in the den, master bedroom, downstairs family room and 1 guest bedroom complete with DISH network.

We provide a large number of tables and chairs, bedding, towels, paper products, and most kitchen items. We will provide an inventory list via email so guests do not overpack.

Our lane is conveniently located about a 1/4 mile from the nearest boat launch. Arrangements for boat storage can be made if bringing a boat. The storage area only 1/2 mile from the launch. Boats, paddle boards, and kayak rentals are available at Lake Raystown Resort just a few minutes away.

Our lodge is perfectly set up for medium size family/friend gatherings, reunions, showers, celebrations, and work retreats.. We are more than happy to help with the planning of these events such as finding caterers, restaurants, suggestions for party rental stores, etc.

Our past guests will tell you that the view of the Lake with 40 miles of expanse, cannot be justified with photos. We are set apart from ALL other Raystown Lake rentals because of our unique view (trees have been cleared 50 yards on the hill facing the Lake enhancing the view), punctual customer service (local), and very complete kitchen amenities, an assortment of yard games, 67 acres of private trails, provided firewood, paper products, cleaning supplies, and detergents. Guests literally need only to bring clothing and food to have a great time!

We hold cleanliness in high regard and do our best to make sure everything is maintained and in proper working condition (if for some reason it is not, we can be contacted immediately and we will see that the problem is resolved).

Special accommodations, kitchen items, child needs, and furniture can be arranged by letting the owners know.

Renter must be 24 years old to book. Maximum number of occupants is 20 unless special arrangements are made. Please no pets. NO LARGE FRAT STYLE PARTIES!
