The penthouse was very nice. It was fun having the third level for watching a movie or going to the rooftop jacuzzi. Unfortunately the elevator was broken and we had to climb five flights of stairs. So you may want to check on that before you book. It was great to walk just a few minutes to the beach. They provided beach towels and beach chairs as well. We had a rental car and drove easily around town.

This property unfortunately was not what we anticipated. First of all, it’s very clean, one of the cleanest Vrbos we have seen, so it was very well done on that. It was also very spacious. One of the things that was difficult for us was the fact of the elevator did not work and it was on the fifth floor. They did let us know about this ahead of time and we were offered ability to cancel our reservation, but we decided to stay anyways. It was OK for our family because we are very athletic but if anyone had small children or did not do well stairs it would not be a fit without the elevator. There are keys to get in at least three doors and then finally the apartment door so four different key doors are needed until you enter the apartment which is a lot, but not the fault of the host more just to understand about apartment entry into this unit. The unit itself is very modern, but for us, we think it misses on a lot of details such as the refrigerator handle is falling off, the first bathroom when you walk in does not have a shower with warm enough water to use, and there is a broken fixture on it, broken umbrella on roof patio. The hardest part was the fact that the washing machine on the top floor stopped working mid cycle (water blockage) so we had lots of wet clothes to deal with the night before our flight out. My husband had to drain it and gross water came out.
