The entire stay was a 10 out of 10. The house was perfect for our group of 9. PLENTY OF SPACE through out the house, every room was made for comfort. Being able to park in the garage was a hugh bonus for us. Our host was responsive and kind. The location was perfect for all of the places that we needed to visit. The new grocery store across the street worked well for us. This is a must stay property.

The house was very nice! A little farther than advertised to the center of town but the weather was nice so not too bad. The only down side was the creepy guy next door that sat in his truck for very long periods of time. Felt like we were being watched

Visit for cattle sale

We had a great experience. The house was wonderful and very spacious. It was a exactly as posted and we enjoyed ourselves. Close to everything in town. Some lively boutiques and antique shops in town.

A Beautiful Gem

The Wilson House is a spectacular place to call home during your stay in Fort Payne, AL! The home is spacious and clean, and every detail of the comforts of home are considered and available. The property is set back off of a main road, so its close to shopping and travel. The grounds are gorgeous! This will be our go to place in the future when visiting again!

The Wilson House

We had a great stay at The Wilson House while staying in Fort Payne to visit family. The home was exactly as the pictures in the listing show. The house was very clean, comfortable and rooms were well lit with natural sunlight and plenty of lamps/ceiling lighting available. We enjoyed breakfast in the dining room and dinner on the well-kept back patio. We were able to park in the garage, which was great. The location was perfect for a short walk to the center of town and just a short drive up the mountain for other fun activities and attractions. We had an issue with the garbage disposal; however, the maintenance tech arrived in no time, he was polite and informative. Unfortunately, the situation required a local plumber but everything was resolved within 24 hours. I understand this is a new vacation rental; my only advice would be to have more kitchen supplies available, mixing bowls/containers and kitchen gadgets/utensils as well as a broom available for guests to use on the floors during their stay. We were traveling with a toddler and made our sleeping arrangements work and packed our own booster seat, but a highchair and pack & play could also be something to have available to offer to future guests. Overall, I give The Wilson House a 5-star and would definitely stay here again!
