Picture warm sunrises, stunning sunsets, cool water, in a quaint and charming small town that provide all necessities to help melt your stress away the moment you visit Kona Lake House. With expansive lake views in your main living spaces, and just a few steps away to lake living, you will find rest, peace of mind, fun in the sun, and serenity.

Picture slow mornings with coffee and meals in the kitchen as you gaze into the water. Followed by sunbathing, lake activities, and lunch/dinners by the fire pit as you grill under the sun and stars. Our deck is perfect for both intimate and big groups to make memories together in the sleepy town of Cedar Lake.

Each floor has been designed with luxury and comfort in mind! All Three Bedrooms are equipped with comfortable and luxurious bedding, and smart televisions. Bathrooms are stocked with premium towels, and toiletries. The kitchen will be equipped with generous tools you will need to create indoor and outdoor meals.

Towels: We leave 2 sets of towels per bed for a stay of 3 nights. And 3 sets of towels for a stay up to a week. You are allowed to launder towels.

Lovely property with panoramic views across the lake, exceptional decor and amenities, located in a more traditional old-school lake front neighborhood. Excellent host communications. A very nice place to kick-back, highly recommended and we'll stay there the next time we're in Indiana!

Kona’s house is a delightful northwest Indiana lake retreat with good views of the water and spacious living area. The attention to detail makes this an easy vacation experience. Everything is where it should be and there are notes/comments throughout the house to help guests navigate everything from the lighting to the kitchen to the bug zapper. We walked, played games, made meals, bbq’d, and visited with family. If we would have had more time we would have rented a boat. Crown Point is close enough to explore (or walk down memory lane) and offers history, shopping, and restaurants. Many thanks to the hosts.

The host was very accommodating! She went above and beyond to make our stay special. She even decorated the place for us which was very nice since so many of us were from out of town.

Beautiful property, but starting to show some wear. Door handle came off on entry. Outside folding umbrella by grill broken and unusable. Laundry room light does not work. Ice maker on fridge does not work. Lack of kitchen towels and no wash cloths for any of the showers. All minor repairs and this property is the best listing on the Lake by far.

Spectacular rental while visiting with nearby family. Our host was extremely responsive and accommodating and check-in was a breeze. The house was ideally situated with stunning views from the multi-leveled decks. Every inch of the home was clean and well thought out to allow for privacy with guests and the neighborhood. Close to shopping and even riding on the steamship “Big Dewey”. All amenities were like new and we felt at home, relaxed for our five night stay. The artful decor created a casual yet upscale feel. Would not hesitate to recommend and hope to return soon. Ps. We brought our pup and amenities were provided for him as well as the two footed grandkids.
