A little red wooden gate leads the way to luxury, as you step into the private enclosed courtyard. Hand formed walls of local volcanic stone surround lush gardens with olive trees, cascading fuschia flowers and hanging vines. Here there are so many opportunities to take in the amazing panoramic view of boundless blue sea and a crystal blue sky- so clear you can see all the way to the surrounding islands.

Have a traditional Greek lunch in the cooling shade of the pergola, bask in the shimmering Greek sunlight on loungers, or dine al fresco under a blanket of stars at the handmade stone dining table of epic proportions. Try a traditional Greek barbecue with the built-in traditional barbecue oven, or simply take advantage of the outdoor wet bar for evening cocktails. The spectacular colors of Oia’s world-famous sunsets take center stage from this privileged perspective, where nature’s paintbrush creates a unique majestic masterpiece each and every day.

The grand proportions of the large central open plan living room, dining room and kitchen are bright and airy, with soaring curved plaster walls and vaulted ceilings awash in soft sunlight. Rhythmic splashes of color mingle playfully with the soothing earth tones of handmade stone floors, gently worn antiques and soft white plaster.

The sweet, self-catering kitchen features handmade terracotta tile, Italian marble countertops and everything you need to feel right at home. It is fully equipped with refrigerator, cooktop, oven, dishwasher, small convenience appliances, cookware, china and cutlery.

Each of the three generous bedrooms has its own private exterior entrance, its own ensuite bathroom with built-in shower, large closets and A/C. Two bedrooms have queen size beds and one bedroom has two single beds. All have plenty of privacy. Each bedroom is unique in décor, with a tastefully cheerful and whimsical style.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD: OVERVIEW
3Arches traditional House is centrally located in Santorini’s most famous destination neighborhood. The sophisticated shops and galleries, elegant restaurants and cute cafes of Oia are merely steps away. Follow the stone paved footpaths all around Oia, with its whitewashed Cycladic houses sprinkled with brilliant blue domed churches and of course those famous caldera cliffs. Don’t miss the opportunity to make a hike along the cliff-side path that winds its way from Oia all the way to Fira.
The neighborhood has mini-markets with fresh local products, wine shops, ATM, post, rentals, bus and taxi station all within walking distance. Access to the popular beaches is just minutes away, via private car or public bus. A wide variety of restaurants and cafes are available, featuring a range of from traditional Greek to haute cuisine by world renowned chefs.
GETTING AROUND
The village center of Oia is accessible by walking. It is easiest to get around the village of Oia by foot, on the network of pedestrian only footpaths that wind throughout the neighborhood, as parking can be very difficult in the village itself.
For most convenient access to other popular destinations on the island, we recommend a rental car. We will happily reserve your car for pick-up at the port, airport or near the house. Just forward details to us and we will take it from there.
For those not wishing to rent a car, there is a bus station and taxi station within short walking distance of the house. During high season, busses from Oia serve all popular destinations on the island.
EXTRA DETAILS: OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

Unlike most houses in Oia, 3Arches traditional House has private parking and no steps to climb. While many visitors are forced to find parking in a public lot and then walk to their accommodations, Mansion Oia offers complete convenience with parking just at the courtyard.
