Welcome to a Walker’s Paradise! This home on Queen St in Old Town boasts a 98 walk score. Pet Friendly, Family Friendly, and Business Traveler Friendly. During your stay you’ll be able to walk 15 minutes to the Yellow and Blue line King St Metro stop and 5 minute walk to ride the free trolley to nearby restaurants and shops! The playground and basketball court across the street offers endless fun with all the modern equipment!

King Street is 1 block away
Georgetown is a 20 minute drive
Pentagon City is a 12 minute drive
Gaylord National Convention Center is a 10 minute drive
National Harbor is a 10 minute drive
Waterfront to the Potomac River is a 20 minute walk

You will first enter the living room equipped with a luxurious queen size pull-out comfort sleeper sofa. No more bar poking your back! There is a stylish recliner chair and a velvet accent chair to relax after exploring the city! There is a 55” Smart TV with a Fire Stick and board games for family fun. The downstairs also has a half bathroom.

Next, you will lead into the dining area on the left with seating for 4 at the table. There are two counter barstools for a total of 6 seats in the dining area. To the right is a Delonghi espresso machine and electric tea kettle. Enter the fully equipped kitchen with a Keurig coffee machine, drip coffee machine, ground coffee and pods, olive oil, knife block, silverware, cooking utensils, bowls, plates, cups, Tupperware, spices, baking dish, baking sheet, crockpot, air fryer, blender, toaster, pots and pans, microwave, dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator.

There is a dog basket with bowls, leash, poo bags, blanket, toys, and treats for you to use during your stay!

Upstairs is 2 bedrooms and a full size bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The washer and dryer is also upstairs. The first bedroom has a queen size bed. There is a desk, closet, and dresser. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with closet and dresser. There is a 32” Fire TV as well.

Fully Fenced in Backyard with seating for 4 at the table. The parking is right out the back gate. There is a reserved off street parking spot. Guest passes for free street parking can be provided upon request for additional vehicles.

The house has 4 steps with a railing to enter from the sidewalk and 1 step up to the front door.

My husband and I were in town to visit family and explore the Old Town area. The location was perfect. An easy walk to King Street for shopping and restaurants. The house was super clean and so comfortable just like home. Maggie, the host, was a pleasure to communicate with. We definetly would stay here again next time we're in town.

Everything at this home was wonderful. Very comfortable, relaxing, kitchen was easy to cook in, quiet at night for sleeping, close to King street for being a tourist. Excellent!!!

Couldn’t ask for a better home to rent. Exceptionally clean and fully equipped. King street walking distance which is a plus just park your car and enjoy Old Town would definitely rent again. I would rate a 10 and above.

Absolutely loved staying in this wonderful townhouse!! Loved that a Coffee shop was right around the corner from us! Great location to walk to restaurants and shops. Such a cool area! Felt very safe walking around the area. It was nice having a designated parking place behind the townhouse too! I would give this place a 10 rating. The townhouse had everything you would need. It had been recently updated and decorated very nice! Highly recommend to anyone staying in Alexandria! Maggie was great to work also.

Great spot!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great space for our family. Pretty close to the metro and very close to Kings street for restaurants and shopping. Make sure to grab pizza from Andy’s (suggested by our host)- we loved it!

Great location in Old Town!

We loved our stay. Property is perfectly situated in old town just about two blocks from King street. The townhouse was exactly as described and communication with the owner was perfect. I will stay there again when visiting DC.

Stayed here with my 2 year old son and my husband over the weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The area is right off the main strip which leaves it quiet but still walkable to everything. There was a coffee shop right around the corner that we went to every morning that we loved! The property itself was great, the beds were super comfortable, there were a few different types of pillows to choose from (which is important and often a missed step), the shower had great water pressure, the kitchen was fully stocked with anything we could have needed!

Great location, short walk to anywhere

We were two couples enjoying a couple of days in DC and Another day at Mt bernon. This location was an easy commute to both as well as being comfortable and in a great walkable city for evening socializing. The home was very clean and well appointed for travelers. We did not use the kitchen but it appeared well equipped, especially for coffee lovers!

Perfect!

We were looking for a reasonably priced stay near King St. and Maggie delivered. We were able to explore everything Alexandria had to offer right out our front door. Out family of 5 and our dog were comfortable and the off street parking was very choice. Many thanks Maggie!!
