Marina House est une superbe maison neuve située sur près d'un demi-acre surplombant la marina privée à environ 15 minutes au sud de Georgetown. Achevée fin 2015 avec de beaux éléments architecturaux des Bahamas, la Marina House dispose de 6 chambres, 6 1/2 salles de bains, piscine privée et pataugeoire, et se trouve à quelques pas d'une magnifique plage. En quelques minutes, vous pouvez naviguer dans le port de Moriah, gambader sur les rives de la plage de Cut, ou tester vos compétences dans les appartements de pêche à l'os après le pont Ferry (Little Exuma). Il existe d'innombrables plages extraordinaires, bancs de sable et criques dans la région, mais il est également facile de naviguer directement à Georgetown ou à Chat N 'Chill sur Stocking Island.

La maison est idéale pour une grande famille, une retraite d'entreprise intime ou une retraite sportive / yoga car les plans d'étage spacieux et ouverts permettent aux groupes de socialiser confortablement mais sa conception offre beaucoup d'intimité. Il y a deux chambres principales avec lits king size, deux chambres d'hôtes avec lits king size (chalet), une chambre avec deux lits doubles et une chambre avec lits superposés. Marina House est équipée pour les grands groupes, elle comprend donc un double réfrigérateur, un double lave-vaisselle, un climatiseur central, une machine à glaçons, plusieurs salons et une salle à manger extérieure pour 12 personnes. La maison est bien aménagée, alors soyez assuré que nous avons tous les couverts, serviettes de plage, draps et gadgets de cuisine dont vous pourriez avoir besoin.

Pêche à la ligne à la main avec les enfants, nuits étoilées regardant le ciel au bout du quai, les orteils traînant dans l'eau. Restez ou sortez. Paddle-board partout et partout. Les possibilités sont infinies.

Family Adventure

We had an amazing stay at Ballymena and Peeps Cottage. The pools and properties are exceptional. Inside and outside spaces are perfect for couples or families. The caretaker responded immediately to any requests. We can highly recommend these properties.

The property, host, and staff get a 10/10 ( I’m a hard one to please). The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable with all the amenities needed. House manager and staff were diligent in every aspect. This should be the model for all Bahamas reantals.

Home was better than the website! From the moment we arrived until we departed we were made to feel at home. We rented the owners boat and with the help of Navionics we were able to explore the endless beechs and restaurants. House was immaculate and well maintained, and our experience couldn't have been better!

Wonderful beyond our imagination

After being locked down for a year, our group of 9 hoped to find a place to have a break from covid while remaining safe. This house delivered beyond what we were even hoping for. It is a great floorpan with plenty of room for all of us. The house is well built and quiet. Martin, the caretaker was extremely helpful and the owners were responsive to our every email. Beautiful pool, beach, paddle boards, hot tub and we rented a boat which were used to explore the area. We mostly ate in which was easy because of the well equiped kitchen but ate out one night at Blu which I highly recommend. Everyone in our group agreed this is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever been to. We hope to be back again soon.

New Years 2020-2021 Stay

We had a great experience staying at the Marina House. It was apart of a compound that the family owned so there were three other homes that were nearby so you saw people every now and then walking around the Marina so it wasn’t as private as I thought it was going to be, but the owners are very nice. There were only four of us and we stayed 6 days. The best part of our trip was going out on the boat with Theo that owns ToursRUs for two days (we saw the pigs, iguanas, an underwater piano, snorkeled the thunder grotto, swam with nurse sharks, snorkeled for star fish, saw some amazing beaches)! The only complaint I have is that the house only gives you one roll of paper towels for your whole stay! Just with four of us we went through two rolls on our trip, I would imagine having a large gathering of 16 (which is what I think the house holds) would go through a roll in one day. I know that’s a very small thing in the grand scheme of things but it was kind of annoying for how much you pay for the house for them to only provide one. Other than that everything was great!

Unforgettable week+ in Exuma

We had an amazing time at the Marina House. The house is beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We kayaked and paddle boarded to the islands and snorkeled around the Marina. The greatest abundance of fish were right under the docks in front of the house. The resident puffer fish was there during the snorkel adventures. We spent many evenings watching the sunset on the beach. The trees on the path have been perfectly lit to add to the surreal experience. We visited the Tropic of Cancer Beach, Santana’s and Mama’s Bakery, which is all very close to the house. Spent two days on Stocking Island - with high praise for the Conch salad. Roberts Adventures took us to many of the local attractions including the Pigs, Iguanas, Sharks, Grotto and an amazing lunch buffet on an island. Our stay was so incredible we added two days. Thanks to Martin for the grocery shopping before we arrived. This helped us settle in quickly. If you’re looking for a place to relish the beauty and solitude of Exuma, look no further!

The property was beautiful

The property is very well thought out and gorgeous. The kitchen well appointed and furnishings very comfortable; the property was everything we expected. I loved how those who stayed up late or woke up early did not hear the commotion outside or even inside.... house built very well. Martin brought us water each day for drinking and made sure we were comfortable; he was fabulous. You will be charged if you go through more than two containers of water. I felt the following could be improved: 1. Prior to renting the owners boat for a minimum of 4 days, it would have been appropriate to warn us of the shallow waters and, even as boat captains, who know how to read charts etc, there was not many places to take the boat. 2. Albeit the property was private and beautiful, anytime the group of 6-10 went out, it was $100-$130 for round trip. (we all enjoy cocktails so a rental car would not have sufficed) 3. The two bedrooms on the west side of the house share an air conditioner, the hall was very cold, the bedroom on the left was comfortable but the two queen room was always hot. 4. We were there wednesday to Wednesday; mid week clean was performed on Monday.... probably shouldve been saturday or Sunday. 5. Albeit we had bug spray, many in our group were severely affected by the "no-see-ums"

Marina House - Exuma

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay 1-25-2020 thru 2-1-2020. The Marina House was absolutely fabulous. Everything exceeded our expectations. The owners , Sandra & Peter Whitehead were very gracious in working with us during the deposits and final payments via VRBO and Pay Pal so we could use our credit card and gave us a comfort level as we had not been here before. Our concerns were quickly removed once we started communicating with Sandra via e-mails. She sent us information on the property, the town, transportation, shopping, restaurants and things to do. Everything she described and told us was spot on. The boat rental was easy to handle but has to be in cash or wire transfer, again it was seamless. The property manager, Martine, was awesome, and handled literally anything we needed, from our pre-arrival grocery shopping, fuel ,water, minor repairs , whatever we needed. Sandra recommended an local lady to come and cook for us if desired, Nola Adderly . What a treat . We her to come in on (2) evenings . We discussed the menu and she gave us a price per person and she did all of the shopping and brought the support staff and handled everything, even went to a bakery and had a Birthday - Carrot Cake made for our daughter’s 40th birthday. We had a group of (12) and it was amazing to be able to all eat at one time and never have to leave the house. The home is set up to handle (12) easily with the (2) guest suites. The property, facilities, private beach, kayaks, paddle boards, personal boat and Martine were truly spectacular. The trips to Chat and Chill via Elvis’ Water Taxi, to Little Exuma to Mama’s Bakery and Santana’s Restaurant , BLU’s Restaraunt (Owner - Samantha Wong ) were so special - each provided their own special memories. Words cannot do this justice. The people here are truly genuine. Peter, I am a commercial general contractor and I understand you and your sons are also. Your expertise , quality and eye for details is impeccable and it truly shows here!! Sandra and Peter, thank you so much , we will definitely return soon. Sincerely, dm/km

Amazing

The property was amazing. Everything in the house was clean and comfortable. The construction on the house next door was a bit of a bother a couple of days, but we were warned of this ahead of time. We thoroughly enjoyed using the boat and exploring the cays near the house. We found a new secluded beach every day, as well as some great snorkeling. I would absolutely go back to this house. Great setup and great location.

Awesome!!

The house was amazing. Plenty of room for our 6 adults and five kids. We kayaked around the islands close by and took the boat on day trips-the boat is a must imo. There is a great reef just off Fowl Cay with mooring buoys for snorkeling. We didn't find this until our last day. On our first day, there was a five foot shark in the marina! There is so much to explore-we never got north of Chat n Chill! Can't wait to come back and explore the northern cays. Great house and a great vacation! Thanks!

GREAT!

Everything was great about this house and location! It was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need for cooking, had tons of beach towels and was very clean and very spacious. Anytime we needed Martin, he was there within minutes and was extremely helpful. Our favorite lunch was at Blu and Chat n Chill is a great spot to stop for a drink and let the kids pet the sting rays. The Lazy River and Tropic of Cancer Beach was a highlight too! Ryan is great for a captain one day... he caught lots of conch and a lobster and Theo is very knowledgeable as well! Highly recommend! We have 12 and had plenty of space!! Will definitely return!

Wonderful family vacation

We had such a wonderful family vacation here for a week in January 2019. The photos online are beautiful, but honestly, the home and property are even more beautiful in person. This home was perfect for our large family vacation. Everyone had their own bathrooms and each suite was separated from each other that it gave us privacy. The kids loved the bunk bed room with their own bath. The kitchen had everything we needed. We took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards since the water was calm and crystal clear. We snorkeled off the dock seeing sting ray, star fish, and beautiful fish and coral. We cannot recommend this house enough. You will not be disappointed with your stay at the Marina House!

Beautiful and Relaxing Family Vacation

July 14-22, 2018 Our family takes an annual vacation every year. This year we chose to go the Exumas. We had never been to the Bahamas before, but we always do a beach vacation. We were so happy with the Marina House. The house is even so much better in person than the pictures. We had 8 people (4 adults, 4 kids)—we had more than enough room to spread out and even have alone time. Our private beach was by far the best part of this house. My daughters (11 and 13 years old kayaked and paddleboarded all day long. We saw many different types of sea creatures that kept them excited. We did a few day trips out to other beaches and islands, but honestly we had our most relaxing days at the Marina House. Martin and Analia took care of anything we needed and response time was instant. We would definitely be back to the Exumas and this house without a doubt. We made wonderful family memories. BEST. VACATION. EVER

My family (12 of us in all) truly enjoyed our week at The Marina House in Exuma. The house was absolutely amazing and set up perfectly for a large family / group like we were. The house had everything you could imagine - and more! The pool, dock, private beach could have not been more perfect. We all had a blast and were never board. Martin, the caretaker, was very responsive in any need we had. Analia helped us set up our private chef - which was truly unbelievable. Analia even checked in on us several times during our stay. There are not enough words to say how fabulous this house is. This is truly the first house we cannot get back to fast enough. Cannot wait for our next stay at The Marina House!

An absolutely stunning vacation home

The Marina House is going to make it difficult for me to rent almost any other house in the Caribbean. The pictures don't really do the home and the property justice (and they are good photos). We were a party of 9 people and we were incredibly comfortable. There was a ton of privacy This house is so well appointed...it has everything you need. If you do need something, the staff who take care of you during your stay are just a phone call away and are very attentive. The private beach is amazing. We spent alot of time enjoying the ocean or just relaxing by the very nice pool. We also rented the owner's 20 foot Boston Whaler. It was great to get out on the ocean for a few hours and explore the various cays...be careful though...the water is quite shallow at low tide and it can be quite easy to get the boat stuck in the sand. Of course, getting it out is not hard because the water is often only 3-4 feet deep. All in all, the best Vacation home rental experience I've ever had. If you are traveling with a large party and you are looking for a "peace and quiet" type of holiday experience, this is perfect... Kudos to Analia and her family on having built such an outstanding home.

The marina house far exceeded our expectations!

The house is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. And it is very spacious. Our group of 11 (4 adults and 7 adventurous kids) had tons of space! The kitchen is well equipped with 2 refrigerators, 1 big freezer and an ice maker. Plus, lots of dishes and utensils. The location of the house is also unique, in that it has a private beach, its own pool and a boat dock right out back. We took advantage of the boat that could be rented with the house and we used it 5 days. We saw every type of sea creature imaginable! Sea turtles, starfish, sharks, sting rays, dolphins, jelly fish, sea cucumbers, puffer fish, barracuda, grouper, lobster, conch, huge lizards and swimming pigs! We did a day trip to staniel cay on a larger boat and it was well worth it! There are many good casual beach restaurants that can be reached by boat from the house - like chat n chill, st. Francis, rusty anchor, Santana's and blu at the exuma yacht club. All in all, this trip far exceeded our expectations and we hope to be back to this exact same house!
