Blue Ghost Sighting for the Win

This is our second time staying here. We love the close proximity to Headwaters. Extra bonus was our first sighting of the blue ghosts. What a magical experience!

Everything We Needed

Perfect little getaway spot! Close to our favorite Headwaters Outfitters and Forks of the River Taproom. Great spot to count the stars while relaxing in the hot tub. We’ll be back!

Things that would had made the stay better

The shower head is way to tall for an average height person A small table with a chair would have been great A blind on the window in the room

Stuff

only 2 wash clothes provided, bed sheet had red stains on it (blood?) , view of RV was interesting. and water in hot tub looked oily? Overall liked the place , everything you need and not anything else.

There were some issues

When we arrived Wednesday evening, the cabin was like an icebox. The heater/ac took a long time to get to the point that it was bearable. The blinds out to the deck had several panels missing and we texted the office and they were replaced the next day. The toilet appeared to be leaking around the seal which we reported. We also noticed there were no clothes hooks anywhere. We told the service man that came to repair the blinds about the toilet and requested clothes hooks. He said he would report it to management and didn't hear anything about it. The bathroom had switches on the wall that called out a vent fan and heater, neither of which worked. As a result, the condensation from showering caused it to literally rain from the ceiling. This is a very small cabin. Normally, that would not be an issue. But as there was no way to hang clothes, it was either stack them on the floor or hang them in our truck and get what we needed each morning. The location was great. It was quiet and peaceful. But I don't believe we will stay here again.

It was very clean definitely a new build within the last couple years. Walking distance from the headwater bar/tubing/water activities. Very peaceful and quiet. Perfect for couples looking to spend some time together. The cooking from home situation is limited. I would recommend bringing a flattop grill and maybe a folding camping table. Other than that it was perfect. We will be back!
