This was 2nd time husband, myself and our little chihuahua have stayed at the Little House On The Pond and it never disappoints! Super cute, super clean with easy check in and great communication with host! Close to many great attractions! Our go to rental when visiting relatives in North and South Carolina.

Absolutely perfect cabin for the pup and I. Easy walk from the cabin to the east fork of the French Broad river. Love the porch swing looking out over the pond. Definitely need to use the wifi to set up gps before leaving, but toally worth it.

We had a great stay at this cabin. The cabin itself was extremely clean, well-kept, and very comfortable, which made it easy to relax right away.The location is one of its biggest strengths. It feels peaceful and tucked away from everything, yet you’re still just a short drive from a charming little town and an incredible forest with beautiful hiking trails. It’s a perfect balance between seclusion and convenience.The host was very kind, accommodating, and communicative throughout the entire stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free.The only note is that the pond was quite low during our visit, which was a bit different from what we expected. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience.Overall, a wonderful place to unwind and disconnect. We’d definitely consider staying again.

Me and my dogs really enjoyed our Little House getaway. While I do wish the water in the pond had been higher, that’s not anything controllable, and the frog chorus while we sat in the swing and watched the birds made up for it. You can tell a lot of love went into this place and I would definitely stay here again!

We really did enjoy having adventures here. The inside of this home is the most cozy, clean environment. It’s just fun to be there. If you like nature and enjoy the simple life this is a wonderful getaway!

Excellent

We really enjoyed our stay with, Jessica. Her and her husband, Levi were great! The only problem we had was the lack of a pond. But, the local waterfalls made up for that. Haha will stay again.

Everything needed for a weekend getaway, except maybe a couch. Nice seating outside on the porch, though.

Rustic lodging at its best without the distractions of fellow tourists and traffic! And you’ll find plenty to do, whether shopping and dining in downtown Brevard or hiking to one of the many waterfalls nearby! Just the right place to get away from it all!

A quiet neighborhood to walk in. The tiny cabin had everything we needed. Nice water pressure in the shower too😁. We enjoyed the fire pit both nights. Thanks!

Great location with access to so many hiking trails and great fishing on the East Fork of the French Broad. Jessica was a very accommodating host and always available if needed. Had a great time!

Beautiful, cozy, getaway

This was the perfect destination for a getaway. There are tons of trails around, if youre into hiking, but also nice seating areas on the property if you want to enjoy the outdoors and stay stil. It was just enough space, and had everything I needed. Tbh, the pictures really dont do it justice! Will certainly be ba k.

Thank you Toni for leaving me a great review and having a great time. Although it didn't rain during your stay, we do live in a "rainforest", so having the outdoor seating is a must. Lots of wildlife on the pond too.

My family is from here, my husband was born and raised across the pond. I was raised in Balsam Grove. We feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity to have grown up here and now get to raise our family here too.

You're welcome to use our Paddle boat, as long as you put it back. There are some life jackets and pond towels in the laundry room.
Dupont, Pisgah national Forest, and the East Fork River are not far away to enjoy biking, hiking, and fishing.
