Quiet country cottage located just east of Bonne Terre. If your looking for a calm peaceful experience this place is for you. Enjoy your morning coffee sitting on the front porch looking out over scenic farm land or a quiet evening around the fire pit while watching the star studded skyline. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basic spices, baking ingredients, cooking utensils and dinner ware. If you prefer grilling there is a pellet grill ready for your seasoned steaks. Bath includes large walk in shower and all essential toiletries. Bedroom is furnished with queen size bed and smart TV. Living room has a queen size sofa bed, electric fireplace, smart TV and fast reliable WiFi. Property is located within 20 minutes of local wine country, beautiful hiking trails, petting zoo with exotic animals, family fun center, space museum featuring actual items from NASA and the world renown Bonne Terre mine featuring a billion gallon underwater lake. All this and more awaits your arrival.

This place was a gem to find. It was very clean & comfy with everything well stocked. Lots of little extras too. We felt right at home The hosts were quick to communicate when I had questions.

She was absorbed absolutely amazing to work with by getting a hold of with any questions I had. She gave us great information for attractions to see with the family. Very enjoyable stay!

This was the best little place! So peaceful and they thought of all the extras to make it feel like home! We had homemade muffins, goodie baskets for our kids, firewood, towels that smelled fresh and lots of coffee. I’ve never been at an ABNB that checked every single box! We wish we weee going back tonight instead of home! Thank you!

The best thing, I think about this host has done, was that fact that she made a categorized notebook for the guest to see what activities were available around the area.

The host Sharon was wonderful. She had fresh made muffins, gift baskets for our girls, candy bars and all the fixens for smores. The fire pit was amazing. The cottage was clean and perfect for our family. Our visit was amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Lynlee and her family were wonderful guests. They went above and beyond I. Leaving the cottage in excellent condition. We would live to have them stay again anytime.

Sharon was the perfect hostess in a perfect little cottage. Fully stocked kitchen, homemade muffins and bowls of candy. Very comfortable bed. Everything was spotless. Great fire pit area with wood provided. Would definitely stay here again.

Honestly I don’t know where to begin. Everything is just perfect. The setting is gorgeous, the cottage is impeccably clean, extremely warm and inviting, the host has also thought of absolutely everything from a hand written area guide, to the stocked pellet grill, every type of toiletry and even starting the fireplace for us before our arrival on an extremely cold winter evening. Hands down the best rental I’ve ever and likely will ever stay at.

It was very quiet and enjoyable stay. I was in town for a funeral and was looking for somewhere to stay that was close to family. This was perfect. Everything I could have needed was available. When I arrived, there were muffins waiting for me and that was very much appreciated. If I am back in the area, I would definitely stay here again. Very nice.

Sweet Getaway

My boyfriend and I were looking for something local but still rural for us to enjoy a night away. The house is incredibly beautiful and decorated so sweet. We sat out by the fire pit for 3 hrs and enjoyed the view while roasting marshmallows to make s’mores with the supplies for the left set up for us by the owners. It was an amazing stay and we will be back.
