Situado en el corazón del pueblo, el recientemente renovado de 2 dormitorios, 2-baño se encuentra en una esquina muy peatonal del centro de la ciudad antigua con vistas a una bonita plaza. El apartamento está en el primer piso (1 juego de escaleras) de un edificio del siglo 19 y tiene un balcón privado con vistas al pueblo y al mar. Todas incluyen aire acondicionado, Internet inalámbrico, TV por cable con canales en inglés, sistema estéreo de CD y soporte para iPod. Tiendas, cafeterías y restaurantes están a pocos pasos de distancia y la playa está a un paseo de 10 minutos a pie. La cercana estación de tren y autobús oferta parada fácil acceso a Niza, Eze, Mónaco y más allá.

Staying in Villefranche

We loved the small village feel of Villefranche. Restaurants and the beaches were just a short walk away as was the bus stop for a trip to Nice.

Great location

The property was very well laid out. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Close proximity to restaurants, stores, grocery, trains, and bus lines. We were very pleased!

Positively fantastic!

Absolutely wonderful stay - both the accommodations and the area. The premises were perfect for two couples, both with our own bathrooms, and the washing machine was an added bonus. Exactly as described in the listing. Easy access to trains and buses in order to visit the many highlights along the coast. Hoping to stay here again in the future for an extended period.

Wonderful apartment in Villefranche

We were extremely pleased with this apartment in Villefranche. Excellent and helpful communication with both the owner and the property manager, Donna. The apartment was immaculate, had more than ample storage space, was splendidly located with great views from the balcony and windows. We liked be so close to the many great restaurants there, water, shops, convenience stores, and the train and bus line. It all made from a wonderful stay in a wonderful place. It was truly one of our best, if not best stays.

Great apartment

We spent 9 wonderful days here and couldn't have been happier. So clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Comfy beds, beautiful view, lots of space, what can I say - it was perfect. The host and manager were very helpful in arranging a ride from the airport to the apartment, and met me at the apartment to give me the key. The train station is just a short walk away and we were able to go to many nearby towns and even went to Ventiniglia, Italy one day. We loved it here and enjoyed a wonderful vacation worry-free.

Comfortable, nicely appointed, perfectly located for enjoying all that VSM has to offer.

This is my 4th visit to VSM in the last 5 years. Of all the places I have stayed, this was the most enjoyable for the reasons noted in my summary. To be able to walk out the building’s front door and have so much at your feet is amazing! As an avid amateur chef, I appreciated the quality of the appliances, the tableware and glassware and such, invitations to make good use of the markets I patronize. I will be staying here again for sure.

Wonderful apartment in a superb location.

The apartment is a joy. Everything was as described and is very comfortable in its layout. Our local resident friends all commented on its spaciousness. The location is one of the best in Villefranche, with its proximity to restaurants, bakery, small shopping mart etc. And just a short walk to the railroad station and bus stops. This was our third year to return to Villefranche, and this was our best selection. Most highly recommended.

Spacious. Comfatable apartment in a great location.

Recently stayed here for seven days. Absolutely loved it. Ideal location for restaurants bars walking beeches people watching. Owners are great to deal with. Donna the property manager is a lovely lady. Very helpful and responsive. There is a bit of noise late evening but we didn't find it a problem. Slept like a log on the very comfortable beds. Windows are exelent and quite soundproof. Would definitely stay there again.

All around spectacular

What a great accommodation, the apartment was bright, spacious and well equipped, In spite of the fact that we managed to disable the washing machine and lose a key, Donna the property manager was gracious and efficient in getting the washer fixed, on Easter weekend no less. The location of the Apartment is amazing, steps from shops and great restaurants. And a spectacular view from the balcony. No down side in this choice of accommodation. Thanks to the Campbells!

Location, location, location

Lovely and large apartment with sizable rooms in the the thick of the action in Villefranche sur mer but suprisingly quiet once you close the windows. Close to everything - parking, train station, shopping, restaurants, bars, beaches and attractions. Handoff of the key was completely unproblematic - lovely caretaker who is happy to help. The kitchen is well stocked and WiFi is high speed. Best of all, the apartment was CLEAN. Really clean - thank you for a beautiful stay. We'll be back!

Outstanding apartment. owners, and manager

We loved this apartment. I don't think we've ever been so comfortable in a vacation rental. The kitchen, bathrooms, and tile floors had recently been renovated and all were done beautifully. The beds were remarkably comfortable. I have torn the cartilage in my hip, which will have to be surgically repaired. That means I was very sensitive to the quality of beds. Those in both bedrooms were so good that I was able to walk more during the day than I had recently. The location in the old city is perfect. It allowed us to explore the city and then be near the port, sea and restaurants. Unfortunately, we were in the apartment when there was a leak in the pipes in the apartment's floor. While this apartment was not damaged, the apartment below and the store below it were flooded. After a few days of determining the exact cause and discussing the repair, this apartment could not be used. Donna, the property manager, took us to a luxury apartment with perfect views of the port, sea, and the hills behind the building. We were blissfully enjoying the apartment when Donna told us that Charlie and Sue were paying the difference between the rent for their apartment and the luxury rental. We were so impressed by their kindness and their sense of responsibility. That alone puts Charlie and Sue in the highest rank of property owners. We hope to stay in their apartment again on our next trip to the south of France. We also send our sincere thanks to them and Donna for all they did for us.

Repairs are now being made to the water leak which as stated, did not damage our apartment in any way. Actually, a good discovery. Our water pressure was running about 4 times normal which has not been remedied. Thank you for your comments.

great stay

The apartment is even better than described, everything is very clean and comfortable. Due to it's situation at the lower end of the town close to the sea, it was easy to get to restaurants and parking lots. As we travelled with my 84 year old mother, who has a bit of a problem walking long distances, this was greatly appreciated. There are lots of things to see close by, public transport is great. I would recommend Villefranche and the apartment at any time.

Excellent Location. Apartment is in excellent condition.

The air conditioning was excellent. There is a large fridge/freezer that is very useful. The local manager was very helpful. We enjoyed having two bathrooms.

Incredible vacation!

My husband, little baby daughter and I had such an incredible time in villefranche. The apartment was perfect! Lots Of charm and character and in the best location right in the old town. Super clean and with great bathrooms, Kitchen and washer/dryer. We loved watching the town below and having wines and cheese on our balcony. Donna was so helpful and great with communication for all our needs and questions. Loved it here!!!! Such a great vacation.! Would love to stay again.

Perfect apartment in Villefranche

We loved the week we spent in Villefranche sur Mer and our beautiful apartment. There were four of us and the apartment was perfect and spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The A/C was a real bonus at night providing us a very peaceful sleeping environment. In the very heart of the old village it is near cafés and restaurants and just two minutes away we found a news shop, a small grocery store and a boulangerie. We enjoyed watching the village come to life each morning while having our coffee on the little balcony with views also to the sea front. Perfect! It was the best vacation we’ve had in years and we hope to return to Villefranche and this wonderful apartment.

Fantastic Apartment

We had an exceptional stay in this apartment. The location is ideal for enjoying the Old World charm of Villefranche-Sur-Mer's cobbled streets and seaside location. The apartment manager was extremely friendly and helpful, even when she had to meet us at 1 am to give us a key because of a very delayed flight. The apartment is well appointed, comfortable and we had everything we needed to cook when we wanted to eat in. The local market and bakery are just a short walk away. The property was clean and well-maintained and everything was as described in the listing. The beds are very comfortable. We would recommend bringing earplugs if you are early to bed and like to sleep with the windows open because the sounds of late night revelers travels easily in the narrow streets. We had a rental car and had no difficulty parking near the Citadel after purchasing a weekly parking pass for 15 Euros. Villefranche is full of enjoyment: swimming at the beach, hiking the Cap Ferrat trail, hiking to Fort Alban, renting a small boat and snorkeling, eating out in the many affordable small restaurants (our favorite was Le Serre) or taking the bus to the hilltop village of Eze or to Nice, Menton or Monaco. We had a hard time leaving and hope to return in the not-too-distant future.

Great location!

This apartment is in the heart of the village, near restaurants, shops, and sights. Easy walk to the train station. Well equipped kitchen and very spacious. Couldn't have been happier with the apartment and plan on a return.

In 2008 it underwent a complete renovation to a high standard along with continued upgrades during the past 10 years. Fully air conditioned with controls in each room. 40" (100cm) HDTV, new fridge/freezer, fully fitted kitchen, new mattresses in 2019 & 2020.
