Lovely apartment in Beaulieu-sur-Mer

Wonderful apartment. The location is perfect and very close to the port, supermarket, main street, marché and beach. It is extremely well appointed with very high quality and stylish furnishings. It is spotlessly clean! The owner is a delight and very communicative. There is lots of storage space with proper hangers, drawers and shelves. The wifi and air-conditioning work perfectly. There is a small and useful balcony. I should really not give such a good review as it will be fully booked the next time I want to stay!!!

Great vacation!

My husband and I spent a blissful two weeks in Sam's apartment. The location was perfect, only steps away from the supermarket and train station, and just a few minutes' walk to a lovely beach with a magnificent view of the chalky cliffs. The apartment itself was really comfortable, well-equipped, and immaculately clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything a cook might need to prepare meals from the produce and fish available at the local outdoor market, just a block or so from the apartment. Beaulieu is centrally located, and a local bus runs from Nice to Menton, stopping at all the seaside towns in between. Since public transportation is so easy, it really isn't necessary to rent a car at all, except to venture to more out-of-the-way towns in the mountains. Included in the rental is a secure parking spot in an underground garage, if you do choose to rent a car. Thanks, Sam for a great vacation--we hope to return!

It is clean, the view is breathtaking, it is close to everything you could want or need. The apartment is quite, the decor very relaxing, the tub is a spa. Very lovely!! Hate to leave it

Brilliant stay in Beaulieu

We stayed in the apartment for a week and had a great, relaxing break. The apartment is perfect for a couple wishing to stay in a clean, modern and well located property (the supermarket is very handy). Sam and Yannick were very friendly and helpful and we could not fault our stay. We would have no hesitation in staying here again or recommending the property to others.

Sono stato ospite in questo bell'appartamento assieme a mia moglie e mio figlio in un week end di aprile. L'appartamento è ben arredato e pulito in una zona centrale e comoda, vicino al supermercato, alla stazione e alla spiaggia, tutti raggiungibili comodamente a piedi. Beaulieu sur Mer

Our stay in Beaulieu sur Mer was enhanced by our accommodations in this apartment. It was very comfortable for the two of us. Clean, quiet, well appointed, and with a fabulous location near shops, train and bus stations. We are boaters and spend a lot of time on the sea. In this instance, however, the view of the corniches and surrounding landscape from the unit's terrace was an added feature we very much enjoyed. Sam, the owner, was a true pleasure to deal with. All arrangements went smoothly. She was of significant assistance with the retrieval of luggage lost by the airline on our arrival. Sam earns six stars! We would certainly stay again in this apartment when next visiting the Alpes Maritime region. Hopefully soon!

Lovely stay in Beaulieu

Me, my husband and our two kids had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Sam was very helpful before the arrival and the welcome was great and good organized! The apartment was extremely clean, beds comfortable, kitchen really fully equipped, towels and bed linen of great quality. The supermarket is close and there is a 10 minutes walk (with kids) to the beach. We would definitely return to this apartment!

Very clean, spacious and conveniently located!

WONDERFUL STAY!

The apartment was even better than described on the website. It was absolutely lovely, beautifully presented and so clean just perfect. Samira is a delight to deal with and made us feel so welcome. No need to hire a care because the apartment is really close to all amenities including trains etc. We loved our stay and hope to go back one day.

Our one week stay in Beaulieu

We couldn't have been any happier than we were with our decision to stay in sam's condo in Beaulieu. The town was recommended to us by a friend who lived in southern France for a year. The condo is ideally situated....it is close to both the train and bus departure and arrival sites, a great grocery store, the tourist information office, and the harbour. One of her main assets is the underground parking; consequently, we left our car for a week and took the inexpensive train and bus routes to all of our chosen destinations with little hassle and the convenience of avoiding parking woes. The condo was new and .well layed out with all of the conveniences one would need to either relax and watch TV or cook a good Italian meal. The beds were comfortable so we had a restful time. Sam was not only generous with her travel suggestions but a charming and informative host.

A lovely Stay

This apartment is ideally situated in the lovely town of Beaulieu, with a good supermarket, train station and good restaurants on your doorstep. All facilties and decor is exactly as in the photographs and I can vouch for the fact that the sofa bed is very comfortable. Samira the owner was extremely welcoming and helpful with any questions or small problems we had. We hope to return again.

Enjoyable Stay At Beaulieu-sur-Mer

The apartment at Beaulieu is beautifully presented and exactly as described on HomeAway. Both finishings and fittings are new and first class. The building is very well located in the heart of Beaulieu, very quiet and very secure. Secure lock up parking is provided which is a bonus in an area where parking is difficult. The balcony, although a little small was a great place to eat and drink with spectacular views of the hills behind Beaulieu. Beaulieu itself is a beautiful village. We lived there 20 years ago and it was great to see that all we loved about the village has not changed. The apartment is located near the Super Market and also close to the daily fresh market. There are many fine restaurants close by and we enjoyed a good Italian breakfast with great coffee each morning at the Grand Caffe (100 metres from the apartment) and the Cafe-de-la-Paix is well worth a visit for lunch. The apartment is a 10 minute walk to the local beach which is very nice however Plage Passable which is a 10 minute drive from the apartment and has ample (but paid) parking was our favourite beach in the region. The owners Samira and Yannick were very attentive to our needs, particularly when we had some IT problems following two freak storms that hit the region. The apartment has a fold out bed however we felt that more than two adults may be a bit of a squeeze if looking to stay longer term.

Great apartment

We stayed in Sam's well appointed apartment for two weeks in September 2012, and found the apartment exactly as pictured and described. The apartment was very centrally located, very close to a grocery store, the railway station, the daily market, bakeries and restaurants, and to the beach. Sam was very accommodating and responsive, and made every effort to ensure that our stay was successful.

notre 8ème séjour sur la cote d'azur a été le plus agréable.Apres 1200 kms de route, nous n'avons jamais été aussi bien accueillis que cette année .Nous avons apprécié la disponibilité et la gentillesse de nos hotes .Confortable ,très,très bien équipé,proche de tout ,agréable ,moderne,fonctionnel sont les qualificatifs que nous accorderions à l'appartement. La proximité de la plage ,du centre ville,de la gare et du supermarché rend la voiture obsolète.Beaulieu est une ville vivante ,attrayante et proche de nos centres d'interets dans la région,donc nous réserverons rapidement pour notre prochain séjour chez Sam.

Best stay ever in Côte d'Azur

I and my family (2 adults and 2 children, ages 8 and 12 years old) stayed in this appartment for 1 week in July 2012. We have a lovely week and we can really recommend this appartment. The appartment is modern, nice and clean with everything you need (wifi, balcony, possibility to cook and a garage - because you don't need to use your car when you are here). The location is absolutly perfect. Just some minutes walk to the nice beach, lot of restaurants near by and situated just 2 minutes away from the appartment you will find a very well sorted Super U, the post office and the train station (no disturbance from the trains). So nice to be able to take the train in the evenings into Nice (takes 5 minutes) and also to Monaco. The owner is very nice and service minded, everything work very well in our communication. We strongly recommend this appartment.

Un excellent choix

En premier lieu l'appartement est excellement agencé, décoré et situé. Il dispose de tout l'équipement moderne incluyant le wifi. Vous serez situé à 5 minutes à pied du supermarché, de la mer, des restaurants, des commerces et de la gare. Il fait partie d'un ensemble immobilier de standing récent et dispose une charmante terrasse où prendre les petits déjeuners fut un grand plaisir du séjour. D'autre part l'accueil chaleureux de Samira fut également un plaisir ainsi que sa disponibilité et rapidité pour régler quelque doute que ce soit. La combinaison de ces 2 éléments a fait que notre séjour s'est passé dans des conditions idéales et a contribué gradement au plaisir que nous aurions d'y séjourner à nouveau. Il est de ces endroits pour lesquels il est facile de donner un avis positif et en même temps que l'on souhaite égoïstement gardé pour soi!

Wonderful Location, Wonderful Apartment

Booked for an extended weekend - Sam (the owner) couldnt have been more helpful from the initial enquiry to personally meeting us off the train in Beaulieu when we arrived. The apartment was very impressive, very clean, beautifully laid out & everything you could want. Beaulieu is a lovely quiet village/town & Nice is only a short bus or train ride away if you want to sample the brighter lights. We really enjoyed our stay here & only wish we could have stayed longer - would recommend to anyone.

PERFECT BASE FOR COTE D'AZUR!!

*Our family rented this apartment for 5 weeks during the summer of 2011. *It is ideally located and in immaculate condition. *The owner is an extraordinarily organized, professional and conscientious hostess. *Although steps from the Beaulieu-sur-Mer train station, the apartment is VERY quiet. It's so convenient to use the train (or bus too for that matter) to hop from town to town along the Riviera. *The best supermarket in town (Super U) is adjacent, another highly practical feature. *The town has a daily provencal market selling fresh and organic produce only steps away. *Just one street up, you have the main street of town with everything you need at your fingertips. *Walking to the port (10mn away) you will find a picturesque street lined with upscale restaurants, perfect for lunch or dinner. *There are two beaches, each roughly a 10-15 mn. walk. *The apartment is perfect for a couple, or (as in our case) up to 4 people. We had two small children sleep on the sleeper-sofa in the living room, which was very comfortable and easy to put away. *The kitchen and bathroom are all in perfect condition and modern. *Beaulieu-sur-Mer is the perfect base for the Riviera because it is a peaceful, beautiful, and elegant respite away from the larger touristy towns of the Riviera. ENJOY...WE DID!!!

Wonderful stay!

August 2010 I have just returned from staying at this wonderful apartment. Beautifully and cleverly furnished, it has everything you need to rest and relax before venturing out to dine, shop, enjoy the port and enjoy just being in the South of France. The apartment is quiet, the air conditioning is perfect, especially for sleeping, the little balcony was super for relaxing with a coffee or glass of wine. The kitchen was well-appointed although I did not cook since all the local restaurants had everything we needed. Everything was spotlessly clean. It was great to have the parking spot although with the convenience of the bus and train - you do not need a car to get around. The train is a 30 second walk (no noise though) and the supermarket, patisserie, ATM machine and lots of great restaurants are all just as close. Sam, the owner, was wonderful and even welcomed us with a bottle of rose. How great is that? Stay here on your next trip to the Cote D'Azur - you absolutely will not regret it!

We rent the apartment for a month and a half (from June to mid-July 2010). The apartment is located in the city centre and it is closed to the Marina, to the beach, to shops and restaurants. The building is very quiet and well kept. The apartment is recent, clean, modern, cozy and fully equipped with everything one may need. Samira, the owner, was gentle and helpfull. She promply helped us when we needed. We found that the actual features of the apartment were consistent with the description on Homeaway web site. We think that the apartment is perfect for two / three persons. We enjoyed a lot our staying, strolling from Beaulieu to Cap Ferrat, dining at the Marina and the museums in Nice (which is only 10 km from Beaulieu). We did not use the car except for going to Nice and its nearby. For this reasons the parking space included in the rent fee was a plus. For sure we would advise this apartment to our friends and for sure we will come back.

Wonderful Stay on the French Riviera

Our recent stay in Beaulieu sur Mare was wonderful. From the pre trip assistance supplied by our host Samira to our last day in the apartment, our trip was seamless. Sam as she is called by her friends is a sweetheart and very knowledgable about the area. Beaulieu sur Mare enjoys a great location. It is a gem with a nice mix of shops, retaurants and a lively sea port. The town is minutes away by train from the better known locations: Cannes, Monaco and Nice but without the traffic and crowds. The apartment is new in a safe location with all the amenities. There is off street parking but a car is unnecessary since the train is steps away from the front door. A clean, well stocked grocery store occupies the ground floor and guests can buy prepared food or provisions to prepare a meal on the patio. In summary, we had a great time and will definitely return.
