This was a clean, comfortable apartment. Easy to park, had everythign we needed, was reasonably close to public transportation. Host was friendly and easy to work with.

We were in Chicago to attend the Bears/Vikings game. We had an absolute blast. This property is centrally located to everything we wanted to do. We were able to take a quick Uber ride anywhere we wanted to go. The apartment had everything we needed to be very comfortable for our stay! Our host checked in with us, which was a thoughtful touch! The neighborhood was safe and all the neighbors were so kind! We will be back! We were sad to say goodbye to Chicago and all it has to offer!

Clean, Convenient, and Comfortable Stay

I really enjoyed my stay at this place. It had everything I needed, was exactly as described, had a smooth check-in process, and was very clean. The location was great, with easy access to downtown via the Green Line or the 3 City Bus. The host was very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend it!

Good location

The apartment was what I needed for a few days stay while in town for the Chicago marathon. Convenient to public transportation to Downtown. Located in a beautiful historic neighborhood and close to grocery store and eateries. Host was very communicative and access was easy.

I had a great stay at this property. I appreciated the hospitality of the host and their family, as they were included in making me feel comfortable. The best features for me were:1. Water pressure. It was awesome.2. The bed was so comfortable.3. There was a TV in the bedroom and the living room.4. The location was easy for navigation of the train/buses if you’re on a budget.5. Little treats like Gatorade, instant oatmeal, izze cans, and waters. I didn’t get to take advantage of the teas and coffee but I appreciate the touch. 6. Plenty of towels (all of ‘em: hand towels, washcloths, and bath towels). Planning to put it on my list of solo getaway stays in Chicago!

Great Amenities & Locations

This spot had everything we needed and more! It was in a great safe location that was beautiful and manageable walk to nearby cts stations. We were greeted by a neighborhood hen during our daytime walks and many other wonderful sights to see. The owner was always a text away with any questions I had and made it easy. Thank you!!!

Birthday Weekend in Chicago

I stayed at this rental during my birthday trip to Chicago, and overall, it was a great experience. Communication with the host was absolutely on point—responsive, accommodating, and very helpful. My plane landed late, and I arrived at the rental around 1 a.m. They made everything seamless, which I appreciated. This was my first visit to Chicago, so arriving late and staying in a basement apartment initially felt a little sketchy, but once I got settled, I felt completely safe. The place had secure locks and Ring cameras, which gave me peace of mind. The apartment itself was adorable, with lots of Chicago-themed decor that gave it unique character. The ceilings are a bit low, so it might not be ideal for taller guests, but at 5’4”, it was perfectly comfortable for me. One standout feature was the snacks and drinks provided in the fridge—a small but thoughtful touch that made me feel welcome. The host also gave me great recommendations for exploring the city, including where to get my nails done. The only minor issue was that the trash hadn’t been taken out when I arrived, but the host promptly refunded the cleaning fee to make up for it, which I thought was very professional. I had an amazing time in Chicago and truly enjoyed my stay. I’d definitely come back to this rental in the future. Thanks for making my trip memorable!

My late mother purchased this home when I was 7. When I’m in town I walk up and down the street and greet neighbors that I’ve known my who life… it’s fun. I stay because we are close to it all.

Our house is on a Chicago Boulevard. Built in the 1850’s the house has so much charm.
