Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located Villa ! This awesome 2 bedroom beauty is only 2 blocks from Reid St, which is where all downtown eateries and fun happens at Port St. Joe. Enjoy walking to the city`s public boat launch or take a short drive to Mexico Beach, Apalachicola, Cape SanBlas, St. Joe Beach, and St. George Island. Tons of opportunities to enjoy the laid back vibe of Florida`s Forgotten Coast!
This is a Duplex, both units may be available !

The unit has 1 king bed and 1 queen bed. Fully furnished, fully stocked kitchen including a Keurig! TV`s in every room ! 42` Living room, 32` in bedrooms.
This is a duplex townhouse, and both units are for rent, if available.
The back yard is huge, completely fenced in, Fido can run until his/her heart is content. Please pick up after your pet; poop bags are provided. Please NO cats. Unit backs up to the city walking track for the exercise lovers.

The entire unit

Two blocks from downtown Port St. Joe. Residential area and close to the boat launch. Plenty of parking and you can fit your boat in the driveway along with your truck! Property backs up to a city park!

Walking distance to everything in Port St. Joe or you can easily drive to any surrounding areas of interest.

Please inquire about weekly or monthly rates !
Dog friendly but please NO cats. Please pick up after your pet during your stay and prior to leaving. Pet waste bags are supplied and please discard in garbage receptacle outside.
Absolutely no smoking of any kind in the unit and this includes vaping; you may smoke outside.
Please be courtious to the other guests and pick up after Fido !
Quiet time is 10 pm to 7 am.

It was a lovely stay! Had all the basics and everything was clean. It was very dog friendly with a full fenced in yard and doggie treats and balls! The only thing I would note is the yard is shared with the attached duplex so if both parties had dogs it could be problematic for some. Clear instructions were posted everywhere and the bed was comfy!

Such a peaceful little place, very comfortable. Excellent when traveling with a pet, big fenced yard and squirrels. Richard and Ginger are great hosts, they go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable.

A nice adorable beach cottage!

It’s hard to find a smaller property that’s close to the beach and affordable. Pelican’s Post is perfect for a couple. Great location away from crowds, yet close to great shopping and restaurants. Communication with Richard was excellent! Will definitely stay here again!

Pelicans Post was perfect for our family of four last minute weekend getaway! Richard was beyond welcoming and helpful in making sure we had what we needed. The kids loved catching lizards in the yard and fish in the Bay and the Gulf! Location was awesome, just a couple blocks from downtown and the Bay. The house and yard are well maintained, and parking is optimal and allows room for boat parking as well. We will definitely choose Pelicans Post in the future!

Love this duplex!!

Richard and Ginger are amazing. Pet friendly house/yard with no pet fees. Great recommendations for places to go, beach recommendations too. I felt like a friend after meeting them!! We WILL be back. PS. I forgot some things in the dryer and they are sending them back to me. They go above and beyond as hosts

This was a decent place to stay the furniture was a bit worn but not bad, why I rated so lowly is the fact we were charged after we left for smoking in the bathroom which we do not smoke so that was a totally false accusation. We left in a hurry due to oversleeping and rushed to get everything gathered I know we could have tried to had done some straightening up and packing the night before but with a small child its hard to do. He acted like we totally destroyed the place and said we ruined his already worn out recliner. I would say if you are staying with kids I would not recommend staying here unless you plan cleaning everything top to bottom before leaving.

The guests were not charged for smoking in the bathroom. They were charged for destroying a recliner, smoking in the unit, and for the mess that was left. I had already made up my mind to refund the charge, simply because I couldn't positively identify the odor left in the unit, and to be honest, I didn't like the recliner anyway ! When the guests vacated the unit, it appeared as if a family of racoons had taken residency. What looked like chunky vegetable soup was left in the kitchen sink. All of the furniture had been moved. The recliner in question was stained all over the arms of the chair, and it is currently at the landfill. There was a bar stool on top of the counter. The freezer and refrigerator had food items left behind. There were towels scattered in every room. Every counter top and table in the unit was sticky. The floor had crumbs scattered throughout. The bathroom was a complete wreck. VRBO blindsided me with a phone call that had the guests on the other end of the call, they admitted that they vaped, but did not smoke cigarettes. I believe the guests; no one ever said it was cigarettes smoked in the unit. The guests admitted to leaving a mess via a message sent through the VRBO messenger that read, "if I knew you were such a prick would have left it in worse condition 🙂 have a nice day" If the guests needed more time at check out, we have allowed 2pm checkout before! They made no effort. Kids don't leave a mess, vape, or move furniture; parents do.

Great location, easy to walk to downtown and the ocean. There is also a great walking path right behind house. The owner was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our three week stay.
