This one bedroom, fully equipped apartment is nestle in a nature preserve on Saint Joe Beach. Private entrance, outdoor shower, high end materials, full kitchen, smart TV In main living area and in bedroom. Easy access (walk or bike) to the on-site pool, white sand beach, miles of waterfront boardwalks & bike paths, Pet-friendly, Saint Joseph beach (marshmellow-roasting-friendly - fires allowed!), 5 -star restaurants, bars, spa, and more resort-style living awaits you at this peaceful retreat. 7 minute drive to downtown, historic Port Saint Joe with more great eats. Wifi available in the unit, & at the pool &bar/cafe. pool bar. Hotel linens and supplies included. Bikes avail for small fee. pets are allowed for additional fee, $100 each. There is a shared wall with a separate rental on the other side - sound-proofing on each side, so it can feel private, but there are two separate units at this address, with separate private entrances. The Seaside Retreat has its own parking spot to the far left of the home.

Wi-Fi was fine for telephone tablets and computer. Television sets were older and Wi-Fi connections were unreliable. You’re staying in the equivalent of a mother-in-law suite. Enter through the side of the house. It is relatively new and good for a couple or a couple with one child. The port Saint Joe area is very nice with good seafood, and good access to the beach.

The space was very nice for our family of four. The kids slept on the day bed and trundle, while we slept in the large bed in the bedroom. We cooked breakfast both mornings and the kitchen had everything you’d need. Everything was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. The large beach umbrella provided that we used was very helpful. And the outside shower is very handy. If I were forced to have a criticism…hmm. No staples in the stapler…lol. We did not bring a chip clip so we were trying to improvise to no avail.It’s a nice walk through the neighborhood to some shops, restaurants, and easy beach access and a short drive to the heart of Port St. Joe. We didn’t get a chance to swim in the neighborhood pool but we did check it out one evening when we were taking sunset pictures on the nearby beach, and it seemed very nice. I’d stay there again for sure based on the location, affordability, anmenities, and space.

We loved the local vibe feel of this place. The community pool was amazing. Plus the little shops and restaurants a few blocks away. The bike paths are abundant for those who enjoy bike riding. Such beautiful views of Port St. Joe while you are biking.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Port. St Joe over the Memorial Day weekend. Lovely apartment, clean and quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Port St. Joe. Would love to go back again for a longer stay.

I read all the other reviews before booking. I found the the home to be very clean, and there was more than enough toilet paper. The price was also unbeatable for the area, you can't get a better deal. You really don't have to leave the neighborhood, everything you would want in a beach vacation is on site. Screen shot door and pool codes before you get to there, phone service is spotty in the entire area, even AT&T but you'll experience that everywhere you go in Port St Joe and Mexico Beach. Also good to know, the time will change frequently from one pool chair to the next. I was wondering why I thought it was 3:00 and a few minutes later it was 2:00 and a half hour later it was 3:30. The neighborhood is literally sitting on central time and eastern time zone line. I gave up trying to figure out what time it really was but, if you're on vacation whats it matter!! Would definitely recommend this home.

The apartment was absolutely perfect for myself and my daughters. We felt right at home. We loved being able to walk Windmark’s community trails and to the beach each night. Angela was am amazing host and easy to contact and communicate with during our stay with anything we needed. We will definitely be coming back!

We had everything we needed here. Bright and airy inside, beautiful development and very walkable outside. Close to Port St. Joe for necessities. We would definitely rent here again.

The location and community are great but the unit didn't look like the photos, it needed a good cleaning and we could hear yelling through the walls and witnessed teenagers fighting in the driveway.

It was convenient and not too far from where family was staying. It was clean. The e-mails were not very user friendly…text messages would have been easier to use. Had trouble with door lock when we first arrived but after a phone call the host came and took care of that.

The emails to confirm bookings are auto generated from VRBO and I've double checked that they are accurate. Upon booking the guest is also provided the manager/host cell phone number to call or text. This guest did have a hard time understanding that the lock icon has to be pressed after the code. He just kept putting in the code on the digital lock without then pressing the lock button, so I came to the unit to demonstrate putting in the 4 digit code then pressing the lock button. There was never anything wrong with the lock. Not sure why that effort afforded a 3 star review, but I am a very caring and responsive host. please check other reviews.

This property is exactly what you see online. Good location, quiet neighborhood and nice property. The apartment is perfect size for a couple that will be away for most of the day. The property was clean and quiet.

Perfect getaway spot

We had a fabulous time at Windmark Beach. This little MIL suite was perfect for us and had everything we could ever need. Like a home away from home. Delightfully decorated and plenty of towels. Loved having a washer and dryer also! It is located close to the little shopping area and the pool. Would recommend renting a golf cart to get to beach or park at the pool and walk from there. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved the property and the location of our unit. It is well maintained, with everything you need. We felt comfortable taking our dog out and about. Not taking any stars away on the review but I have to mention the cell service is terrible around the entire property.

Thank you, Len, this can be true for some carriers, like Verizon but it is true of the area not a property issue. AT&T has better reception in this area for example. But to clarify, it's a cell phone issue and not wifi. The wi-fi is strong and fast unless there's a bad storm. Turning your phone on wifi usually recifies the issue.

Great base from which to enjoy Cape San Blas and the bay

LOVED the Pizza place in Windmark Beach - best Veggie pizza EVER! Apartment was very well laid out and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 small dogs. Parking for 1 car only! Owner thought we could park on the street but had a cop ringing the doorbell on day 3 and were told to park in the “city center” where the businesses are.

We loved it here!!

The house was perfect, location to everything was great! We loved our time here and would definitely recommend this place! Our only comment would be to have more than one roll of toilet paper available for a 7 day stay as we had to go buy some to get us through. Also, outdoor seating would have been nice, they did have one chair that was wobbly and a fold up camp chair was also available but a little outdoor table with chairs to enjoy morning coffee would have been nice. Still was a great place and we would definitely recommend it!!

Would book again

Didn’t realize it was attached to owners home but it all worked out! Cute place with short commute to beach! I could have walked but with our dog, chair and beach bag etc… it was easier to drive a couple minutes than walk with all that!
