Location, layout, proximity to beach & downtown excellent! We totally loved itOnly downside would be possible upgrade of beds, & lanai ( no doubt from hurricane) Communication & host were excellent & couldn’t have been better! Wonderful vacation!!

Great location! Close access to the beach, near downtown, jetty and fishing pier. A spacious, pet friendly home on a quiet street. Fenced backyard, screened lanai, washer/dryer, and fully appointed kitchen.

Great Location, Great Home!

We had a great stay in Venice, and being so close to the beach (8 houses), was fantastic. Downtown, the grocery store and several parks and other beaches were an easy bicycle ride. The house was very nice, recently updated and very livable in the layout. Excellent experience and would certainly rent there again in the future.

Location doesn't get any better than this!!

Great property! Location was absolutely perfect...walking distance to the beach and to Historic Downtown Venice!! Fenced in yard was great for our dog. Richard was very responsive. Unfortunately we had to cut our vacation a few days short because of hurricane Ian, but hopefully we'll be back!!

Nice Venice Beach location and property

We really enjoyed our stay at Richard's place. The location was super convenient to a neighborhood gulf beach right at the end of the street and about a 10 minute walk to the main Venice beach. The house space and setup, including the lanai, was well suited for our family of 4. The house has what you need for a longer term stay - extra towels, extra sheets, new washer/dryer, charcoal grill, cooking supplies, bike, garage you can park in, etc... Richard was also very easy to get in touch with. We had one issue with the house while we were there, however Richard was very responsive and able to coordinate a service provider in a timely fashion. Thank you for having us and sharing your place!

Venice Island Home...Walk to the Beach

We stayed at this Venice Island home for the month of April, 2019 and really enjoyed our experience. The three bedroom home has been recently redone, is clean and is well equipped with new appliances. The location is perfect in a quiet, attractive neighborhood within a block of the Venice beach, and the village of Venice and its streets are great for walking or biking. This was also a great base for us to experience local restaurants and the larger arts/cultural offerings of the nearby cities of Sarasota, St. Petersburg, and Fort Meyers. The owner was responsive to our requests and provided easy instructions on home access and the operation of the TVs and Internet connections. We had guests on several occasions and they were all impressed with the property.

We spent the Christmas holidays here. The house just step away from beach, which is very convenience. The beach is amazing especially watching the sunset. The owner Richard is very quickly responded our questions and always available for us. The house is very spaces, has 3 bedrooms, two living area with Tv. Well equipped kitchen. I made breakfast every morning and sometimes I made dinner. We had our family dog with us. It was very nice to have a fenced yard. Our puppy enjoyed running outside. Overall, the location is perfect and the house is amazing. We stayed for 10 days, 2 adult and two teenagers. You could,t wish for better place and I highly recommend to everyone. Richard, thank you for made our vacation memorable. We had an amazing time! Black family

Nice property in great location. Just a short walk to beach.

First time renting via VRBO. Process was easy. We got lucky finding this property for rent in prime Florida rental season. Property was as advertised. Would rent again.

Great house

House and property were clean and well stocked. Close to parks, beach and downtown. Dogs loved the yard and the surrounding neighborhoods were perfect for walks and biking.

Everything was Perfect!

Richard was great to work with. Very good communication throughout the entire process from booking to the stay to checkout. We needed to stay an extra day and Richard was great in working with us to make that happen. The property has all the amenities and is very nicely finished and furnished. It truly is a very short walk down the street to a public but little used beach access. He has beach stuff available for use if you want to use it. Wifi is strong and fast. It really was the perfect place for what we needed. Plenty of space inside and out to spread out and not be on top of each other all the time. Thanks for the great stay!!

Lovely Venice

We had a good stay at 624 Alhambra in spite of CoVID quarantines. Great neighborhood for walking and biking. Richard was very attentive.
