Belle maison de quartier calme avec planchers en teck et nouvelle cuisine, immense porche couvert pour se détendre à l'avant, salle de jeux dans le garage à l'arrière, beaucoup de stationnement hors rue sur une double allée en béton menant au garage.
Magnifique hamac sur le porche avant pour vous endormir pendant que les ventilateurs de plafond vous gardent au frais. Comprend des vélos pour la plage.

Great family rental

Great family getaway

This house was perfect for our multi generation vacation. There is plenty of space for the kids to play. They loved their garage getaway! The adults loved the huge front porch!

Beach vacation house

This is the third time we stayed at this house. It is in a perfect location to go to all the local beaches. The house is roomy and beds are very comfortable. It has all the things you need to make a good meal. Even has a keurig. Very comfortable house.

Great beach weather means great vacation

The house is comfortable, great front porch, nice gas grill in the yard. Plenty of room for cooking, eating and relaxing. 15 min drive to beach. Also great location for restaurants and shopping. Bicycles, beach toys and beach chairs to use.

Beach vacation

This is the second time we stayed at this house. Bedrooms are great and the beds are very comfortable. Love the two living rooms. Kids hook up their game system in one and we can watch tv in the other room. Bedroom tv is a bonus. Kitchen well stocked.

2024 beach week

Property was in good shape. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and dishes. The front porch was really nice (except for the mosquitoes). The main complaint was that the king beds need to be replaced. The owner charges a cleaning fee, but requests that the property be cleaned before you leave.

Simply what we needed!

We had a very nice stay in this house. It is on a quiet street and the location was not too far from the Bethany attractions. The furnishings are very tasteful and we arrived to find the house very tidy and with all of the things we needed. The kitchen is very nice and fully stocked. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and the beds were super comfy. It felt like home. Wish we had spent more time on the front porch but the breeze it offered and shade after a day at the beach was very nice. Dealing with the owners was also superb!! If you want a simple get away and enjoy having privacy this is a great location.

Oak Street Mermaid Beach House

We had a lovely stay here. It was quiet and spacious, nice neighborhood. We loved the big front porch and so did our 2 little doggies. The new outdoor shower was a great addition. The only issue was a problem with the bedding from the previous guests stripping all the beds when they checked out. We would suggest you having a binder that contains all the important information about the house for guests to refer to. We hope to return to visit the Delaware beaches next summer. The owner was very helpful with answering questions and responding to texts.

Great Home / Great Location

The house was nice and as advertized, however the Primary Air Conditioner stopped working on morning of second day and was not repaired until the evening of the last night we stayed. We were all VERY hot and the owner just kept saying the room air conditioner shoul keep you cool. It did NOT !!

I apologize, I was not able to get anyone out to completely fix, first service call did not completely fix, they had to do multiple visits to resolve. There was a mini-split as a back-up, sorry it did not keep the house cool.

Great centrally located home away from home for a big family

Our group of 11, including three preteens, enjoyed this spacious and very comfortable/homey rental. Good sized and very well stocked kitchen was put to use a ton - plenty of storage and prep space, all the cooking items you can need. Other nice touches were fully stocked first aid kit, hairdryers in each bath, iRobot vaccum kept floors clean of sand. Perfect location for those who want to go to a bunch of beaches during their vacation - we hit Bethany, Rehobeth, Dewey, Fenwick Island, and Ocean City. Very close to big grocery store (walking or biking distance) which made keeping the house stocked a piece of cake. Homeowners provided plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas so we didn’t need to bring any with us. Fun decor was enchanting. Plenty of space for our group! Hope to stay there again!

It was nice seeing different things but going out it was prices

We had questions and the owners were reachable and answer our questions. We had issues with the trash and recycling because it was not empty from before but other than that it was fun.

Week in July 2022

The Mermaid beach house was comfortable. We loved the large front porch, plenty of seating. Was nice for the morning cup of coffee enjoyment. The two living room areas were accommodating and allowed for extra seating for games and conversation. The Master bedroom was spacious. Only negative is the back steps were awkward and old. Owner did share with us that a new deck is planned for out back. Would recommend the Mermaid beach house to others if basic comforts is what you are looking for.

Spacious beach house

We enjoyed our stay at this home. Loved the great front porch and the nicely decorated and comfy space. A bonus is the house is pet friendly, which also means cats.

Good place to stay!

We spent a very enjoyable 2 weeks with our dog, visiting friends and family. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. It is located close enough to the beaches but in a nice quiet neighborhood. We liked the way the house was separated into 2 living areas. Cliff was very responsive to all of our questions. My only complaint was the small ants in the kitchen. (I can’t stand ants!). I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a pet friendly, spacious house.

Return to the Beach

We had a great time at the beach. We hadn't been to the Beach in Over 2 years and it is one of our favorite places. Accommodations were great. Ability to use their sheets made packing for our family very easy. Great locations to shops, was easily able to get to the beach as we enjoy going to DSSP and not a far drive to Millville to hit BJs for supplies. Great Trip.
