Great stay with our family

This is our 2nd year coming here! Overall great place to stay and easily accessible. Love pine mountain lake so much! The only issue was communicating about the sheets, towels, and kitchen utensils but otherwise everything was awesome! Michael is a great host! Highly recommend staying here.

Great lakefront property!

Property was accurately described plus lots of water toys for kids & adults. Professional Viking stove/oven plus large island including a well stocked kitchen. Plenty of room to accommodate 11 people (6 adults 5 children 5-12yrs). Many other amenities. Beautiful Lake front views with private dock as pictured. Plenty of wildlife in the area - including citings of a rare larger brown bear, a bald eagle, deer and turkeys. We thoroughly enjoyed this property!

Amazing Vacation!

We booked this trip for my sons 18th birthday. The house was beautiful with almost everything you need. Everyone had a great time with the paddle boards. There was plenty to do for everyone. We had an issue with the Xbox but the owner was very responsive and had us a replacement quickly. I would recommend this rental to anyone with a large family that wants somewhere so be able to relax and have fun with out needing to go anywhere.

Quiet cabin on the lake

The cabin is quiet and lovely - well stocked with towels, kitchen essentials and entertainment. The cabin offers several areas to gather, allowing the group to assemble without feeling cramped. My guests really enjoyed the fishing dock, canoe and games in the house - pool table, shuffleboard and board games. The location was excellent, situated on the lake with a private dock. The marina was a quick 10min walk away. Getting to town was a short drive, there is a little market and a decent selection of restaurants. I'm rating 4 stars for two reasons: 1) The cabin did not have sheets available for the pull-out futons in the game room, and my guest had to sleep without sheets the first night. 2) Communication was confusing, and it wasn't clear who the main contact was for any questions/issues during my stay. I had three different names provided, but ultimately the homeowner was the best and very responsive contact.

Lake house stay.

This is the first rental that I have ever been to that was nicer than anticipated.. It looks like the whole interior has been updated with top of the line everything. Very very nice! Loved this place, would recommend in a heart beat.

Amazing!

What you see in the pictures is what you get and then some!! The home is beautiful and clean. Having all of the games (indoors and out) was awesome for the kids. Amazing lake view from the house. We loved having our own dock, kayak and canoe available! In addition it was so nice having the chairs down at the lake with the fire pit. The deck needed a little work--some nails need to be pounded down for safety reasons. Other than that it was nice to have the outdoor seating and the grills. When we returned home we booked our next trip. Unfortunately our plans have changed for this summer, but we hope to go back again in the future. Fantastic place! Worth the money. We had THE BEST family vacation ever.

Fabulous vacay!!

The house was wonderful and we had so much fun as a family. Beds were great, lots of space, tons of games and things to keep us busy (especially because the smoke came in and we had to stay inside). The kitchen was stocked too. The posting isn't totally accurate (it says there no kayaks but there are) and the cleaning wasn't great (there were still dirty dishes on the stove and the stove itself wasn't great). But none of that changed the fun we had :) We could definitely come back.

Better than perfect?! It’s true!!

This BIG, beautiful, well-appointed home is a dream come true for families with teenagers! Plenty of space indoors & out! The deep water dock was awesome for jumping in, taking off on paddle boards, chilling in the sun. We literally never left the property…. Beach day? Nope! It was better than perfect!

Family reunion

We loved our stay at the lake house! There was something to entertain everyone, from playing pool to ping pong, swimming, kayaking or relaxing in the dock on the lake. We were 12 in total and slept comfortably. There was a power outage due to the fires affecting parts of California this summer. The house has a generator, which was very useful as electricity was gone for about12 hours at the beginning of our stay. Communication with Michael (owner) and housekeeping was great. I would recommend bringing your most important groceries/meat/fish with you. There is a local store with most things you may need, but we did not find a variety of fish, meats (and very pricey). It is better to bring with you. We did the Carlton Falls hike which was very nice. Our trip to the Lake House was last minute, so we did not have enough time to make a reservation for Yosemite, which I regretted, but there are other hikes in the area. It is sad to see how the fires have affected the forest. Luckily, Pine Mountain Lake was pristine with beautiful pines. We made great family memories and would definitely return to the Lake House. Thank you Michael for sharing your beautiful place.

Definitely water front location! A+

Came here with family. Consist of 4 adults and 4 children ages; 7,4,3, and an infant. This place was very clean and location was on point. I’ve rented several other places in PML and this was the nicest by far. You pay for what you get. Each rooms were equipped with up to date technology gadgets. The great room had amazing Sonos theatre system. One minor complaint is the upstairs room, very very hot even with the AC and fans running throughout the day. I would definitely rent this place again for our annual PML vacation.

Lovely stay

Absolutely great house

Great property, great location, friendly owner, the only problem was with property management, they didn’t take away garbage before check in and we didnt have empty garbage cans. Other then that our stay there was pleasant.

Lake and Yosemite

Best lake house (not a cabin) and direct access to lake is the only way to go. Everything was 1st class and our multigenerational family had a great time.

One Ecstatic Family, Sad to Leave!

Our family (6 adults, 6 kids) had an absolutely fantastic time in your lovely home at Pine Mountain Lake. The house is so spacious and comfortable, and every possible amenity is provided. And the generous array of recreational opportunities was just mind-blowing! Everyone found a favorite thing to do (or many favorite things!). The kids were in the water for many hours a day, and played so many games as well. We had a day in Yosemite, and a day of loafing at the house, with paddle boat, canoe, and s'mores at the firepit! I think we tried everything, and enjoyed it all - even the bookworms were happy with the many wonderful "reads" around the house! We couldn't have asked for a more welcoming place to have a family holiday.
