Ou property has valuable off street, covered parking just to the rear of the house (upon request), parking in front, as well as on the side of the house.
The Rampart House has central air & heat, cable TV, phone & internet/WIFI, privacy shutters, and plenty of outside lighting. The house has a large deck along the rear of the property with patio seating for your private fenced in relaxation.
The Rampart House has a spacious living area, featuring a large circular sectional sofa and plenty of comfortable seating. Watch the game with a large screen HDTV and enjoy cable service with On Demand and PPV service.
The dining area offers a granite dining table with seating for six.
The first of two master suites provides a new and comfortable king-size bed.
This room also has a walk-in closet and ceiling fan. A wall mounted cable TV is easily viewed from the comfort of the bed. The private bath has a stand up shower, vanity and toilet.
The second master suite has two queen-size beds, a dresser, and desk, as well as a private side entrance to the rear patio deck. This suite also has an on-suite bath with shower and soaker tub. The roomy bathroom allows for two guests to get ready at the same time. Located in the bathroom is a large walk-in closet, stocked with additional linens and towels.
The Rampart House has a full-size kitchen with new cabinets and granite countertops. Stainless steel appliances include a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, gas stove/oven, and microwave. The laundry area is located off the kitchen with a full-sized washer/dryer. The rear entrance to the deck and off street covered parking (certain sized vehicles) are located off the kitchen.
Hair dryers are provided in both bathrooms, as well as an iron and ironing board, large umbrella's are provided also for those rainy days. Just bring them back please! This is the house for relaxation,quiet time, and is close to everything.

About Matt Woerner
Steve and I have been long time residents of New Orleans and have restored 3 homes in the historic Treme and Marigny neighborhoods. We met because of Hurricane Katrina and have been together since 2005. We were also married in 2009. We also rescued our dog, MAW. She is a pit-bull / beagle mix. She loves to meet & greet all guests! We are happy to have this opportunity to provide our guests with a relaxed and comfortable experience in one of our country's most unique and interesting cities. We would like you to enjoy our property as much as we do.

Our quests love all the options the Bearigny Suites have to offer- from early morning jogs to the Mississippi River and through the French Quarter to taking a bike to City Park and checking out the museums. They also stroll to the Quarter for dinner, shopping, or some of the best people watching ever. There are 2 street cars, one North on the corner of Elysian Fields and St.Claude ave. Only 1 block away. As well as one South, just 5 blocks away. Trolley stop #1 French Market, as well as the entrance to the French Market. The legendary Frenchman Street is a center of the New Orleans music scene, only five blocks away. Stop in at one of the local jazz clubs to catch a band and maybe even jam with Lenny Kravitz.

This place was very nice, very clean! Had all the amenities we needed. Matt was a great host, very welcoming! Nice neighborhood, and a great location. I would definitely stay here again.
An amazing property coupled with amazing hospitality!! The location is perfect for exploring NOLA!
Whether this is your first visit to NOLA or not- this is the place to be!! Easy access to he French Quarter, the top jazz clubs, downtown the Garden District and yes- envem Bourbon Street!! You can hop on the nearby (2 block walk) trolley that gives you easy access to most major areas of NOLA.
The property was perfect for our family of 6. Very comfortable and amazingly well fournished and decorated. Has all of the comforts of home and then some!!
As fabulous the property is- the southern hospitality of Matt and Steve is second to none! They live approximately 25 steps from the property and make themselves available for any needs you might have. Matt met us at the property and showed us the ins and outs of the house. They also provide a fantastic directory of places to visit, eat and see in NO.
I would have rated the property and experience with Matt and Steve 5+ stars if they were available.
BTW: I’m convinced Steve makes the best gumbo in NO. Perhaps you might get lucky enough to get a taste during your visit.

Fantastic home in a great location
A few of us from Austin stayed at this location for an extended weekend for a chance to explore New Orleans. Not only is the neighborhood fantastic (friendly people, grocery store less than 100 yards away), the owners are amazingly friendly and provided a remarkable amount of great suggestions. I had been to New Orleans before, but now any time I come back, I am going to try and stay at this location.
Glad you all enjoyed our fantastic home in a great location! Celebrating two birthdays, guys weekend away all ended up just fine. We were certainly happy that you and your friends enjoyed our property. We certainly enjoyed having you as well as giving any info that we could provide to make your stay just an bit easier. Great House, Great Location, Great Owners!
We couldn't have rented a better property. This house is great! My partner and I were so happy when we walked in; it is open, airy, cozy and clean! With a really nice grocery store accross the street and the nice kitchen, we had all the amenities of home. And it's a short walk to the French Quarter. Matt was awesome...you can't find better hospitality or an owner that takes care of his property. One can tell that he and Steve really care for their place AND their guests. Our 5 day stay there was perfect for us and scored well above our expectations. I really can't say enough about our entire experience. We highly recommend this property and it will be our first choice on every visit to NOLA! Thanks Matt and Steve!

Surprise on the Inside
We had a great stay at Matt and Steve's home. We have stayed at several rental homes and this one ranked up there with one of the nicer homes we have stayed in. The location was a short walk to the street cars and the off street parking was much appreciated (If your familiar with New Orleans parking this is a huge plus)! The house is Much larger than it appears from the outside and the conveniences they offer are awesome! The guys had a beautiful Christmas tree up and the home felt very welcoming. We felt very safe and secure. The house being pet friendly worked out great as we traveled on this trip with my parents and their small dog. The guys welcomed us in and showed us around the home and were very friendly and offered tips on restaurants and sights to see while we enjoyed New Orleans. It's unfortunate that the weather did not allow us to enjoy the outdoor deck and the new stores across the street opened the day after we left. However, for the next guests these amenities are available. We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone visiting the New Orleans area. It was quiet and away from the craziness of the French Quarter, but within walking distance to so much! And after all the walking we did I and my daughter appreciated the oversize soaking tub that allowed us to take much needed bubble baths! My Mom appreciated the walk in shower with a seat in her bathroom. Thanks again gentlemen for the hospitality! You helped us make lasting memories on our holiday trip to New Orleans!

We certainly are pleased that your holiday stay with us during the Christmas holiday made you all feel warm and welcoming, with the exception of the COLD temperatures, very unexpected. We had decorated all our properties to make sure it felt like the holidays. We always make sure everyone feels comfortable as we check them in to the point of check-out. Great house, Great location and Great Hosts
My wife, daughter, son and I just stayed at Matt's place for 4 nights. First, Matt was waiting for us and showed us around the house and gave us all the info on what to do, where to go and even gave us 4 tickets to the WWII museum. Amazing. The location of the house is great since you can walk to everything within 15 to 30 minutes. We left the rental at the house for 4 days. The house has everything you need, plenty of room and lots of charm. I'd stay there again and if you are planning a trip to NOLO you should stay here. Again Matt is great.
