Antico Convento I Cappuccini - Villa & Wedding Venue

The Ancient Convent I Cappuccini is a complex built by the Minor Capuchin friars, of which we have news already from the end of the XV century, and it is 3 km far from the near Montalcino, famous for its excellences in the world.

The property is engraved in a park of 20 hectares facing west, includes a small olive grove and is crossed by a stream, an inexhaustible source of beneficial water and sweet sounds to the rhythm of nature.

The structure consists of a large main building with an internal cloister, a large swimming pool, a small annex and a chapel.

Renovated in full respect of its origins and of the typical architectural style of the marvelous Tuscan country villas, it is ideal for hosting public events such as weddings, congresses, seminars and company meetings.

The main building, which can accommodate up to 16 beds, is characterized by a façade with a portico facing west and is composed of a three-storey main building which includes the most important historical parts: the old refectory with 18th century frescoes, the cloister with the central well and the ogival windows of an old crypt.
Two independent dependances with 4 beds each are attached to the main building.


On the ground floor the main body is composed of a comfortable equipped kitchen that will allow you to prepare and enjoy lunches and dinners in total conviviality, a dining room with a 16th century fresco depicting the last supper scene, a bathroom, and a large living room that opens towards the external loggia and the lush surrounding nature.

The first floor is characterized by a warm living room with a working fireplace, around which there is a study area, 1 single bedroom, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and 2 bathrooms.
On the second and last floor there is a living room, 4 more double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom and 3 bathrooms.

The two independent dependances are located inside the main building but accessible through a double external symmetrical staircase and consist of living room with kitchenette, double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom.


Water is in abundance at the Capuchin Convent and many springs flow down into the little stream whose babbling accompanies the awakening of the guests who decide to spend their holidays in this special place.
