Some things were good with our stay, but there were concerns, too. Our flight arrived 11/1 @ 1:30, the host agreed to early check in without charging an extra fee, but then the code didnât work on the lock, so it took extra time to get into the house. Outside the front door, there was garbage spilling out of the attached garbage bin; this was not a good first impression. Initially, the internet/tv didnât work but the host was able to talk us thru the process. When we tried to use the kitchen outlets, none of them worked; the host had someone come on Saturday night to address that issue; some worked then but not all of them. When loading our first dishes in the dishwasher, there was water in the bottom of it and there was a strong odor coming from it. We had to fix that. In the check out expectations, guests are to run the dishwasher before leaving; when the cleaners emptied the dishwasher, they should have addressed this concern. Also, there were 10 guests staying at the house but there werenât enough coffee cups for us. Clothing was found under the beds in several bedrooms; the guests should check under the beds but if they leave things, then the cleaners should have found/removed them when they cleaned the house. The floors were dirty in several rooms/areas. When the first family member showered in the bathtub, the water did not drain, so they stood in several inches of water. The porch was nice, but several floor boards were loose on that. Close to shopping/sights!
