Great for a couples getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 2nd time we have stayed in a condo with Island Club. We returned for the quality and location. This is not a downtown accommodation and that's such a plus! The condo was clean and appointed as described. We did not need to do our own cleaning before feeling comfortable. The smoke alarms work- as we found out from preparind dinner (another plus to a condo over a hotel room!) The beds were comfortable. There's no need to be hesitant to sit on the living room furniture because this isn't the party scene, as they have a strict policy of what types of groups are on property. For that reason, the pool was clean and there was the opportunity for all guests to enjoy- families with small children included. Plan time to take advantage of the lake-side deck. With the lapping of the waves you can close your eyes and be in any waterfront destination! We will be back!

Good place, great views!

Pros: Great views from deck, not many guests so relatively quiet during week. Bathrooms and bed sheets were clean. Away from downtown, so definitely more quiet which we wanted. Cons: Some wear to walls, but did not inhibit experience. Patio doors were not clean. Could use a few more kitchen amenities like hot pads, foil, saran wrap etc. Our asks if we came back: Update prep guide PDF before your arrival, don't tell guests to bring things like hand soap when it's already provided, or the opposite, tell guests to bring foil if cooking if you don't plan to stock your kitchen. Overall it worked for us, just a couple small tweaks to improve the experience.

Reviewer Comments: Perfect size to spread out for large groups, the balcony view of the lake was beautiful, & taxi service was easy & reliable- highly recommend ‘Ricky Bobby’ for transportation.The condo exterior flooring could use some updating, tiles are cracked & slippery when wet; stairwells are dark at night. Our condo was full of cobwebs/spiders & I had to ask for a broom to clean the patio as it looked like it hadn’t been touched in quite some time. Overall, for the price, I was disappointed in cleanliness, but happy it could accommodate our large group.

Reviewer Comments: our family met a friend’s family for a 5 day vacation. everything worked out great with the unit itself, especially the space it offered. we knew it was a “party town” so we purposely booked monday thru friday. we had some noise issues at the property on thursday night and one downside is there wasn’t any onsite staff (after 2 hours of noise on the patio i called but it was an answering service). i would recommend maybe adding someone on thursday nights as we’ve heard they have on fridays and saturdays. chocolate cafe is great for breakfast sandwiches. the upper deck had fantastic dinner service and views. kids loved the perry’s activities and the playground “downtown”. the candy store with ice cream was a big hit too. definitely get a golf cart!

Friends getaway

Nice location and condo was clean and in good shape. It was 8 adults and we had enough room without having to step over each other. Location is a short trip from ferry drop-off and a 5 minute golf cart ride to downtown.

Lake Time is the Best Time!

Location! Location! Location! Couldn't be a better spot for Bash on the Bay. Spent the first half of concert days by the pool and then an easy walk to the concert venue. After that, out to listen to some local bands and grab a late night bite. Syaed around for the weekend and explored the island and hopped over to Kelleys as well. Great visit!

Fun, gorgeous, but a little loud

I'd recommend this place for mature adults, not families. The view is gorgeous, easily the best part. The facilities all worked well, were clean. I used oven, fridge, microwave, and shower. TV was cable only, a little confusing. Bring a citronella candle, couple decks of cards, and you'll be on the patio all night long. However, walls are paper thin and you will hear loud conversations from the neighbors. Mattresses are not rigid at all. Will likely return next year!

50th birthday bash.

There was a mix up w our golf cart upon checking in which made us 30 mins late to our dinner reservation. The condo seems dated and i don’t think the cleaning team did a very good job. The walls/light switches/door handles and doors are filthy. Our bathroom didn’t seem clean as there was what appeared to be smeared chocolate on bathroom floor in a wrapper when we first moved in. The floors in the condo are extremely filthy. My feet were black after just walking around barefoot for a short while. All in all i enjoyed my stay but i think you need a new cleaning service.

Nice Property with some Maintenance Issues

There were some maintenance issues, but the staff was very cooperative in fixing them:1) The sliding screen doors were off the tracks2) A blade on the living room fan was broken3) The upstairs bathtub would not drain4) The uostairs bathroom light and exhaust fan were looseAlso, it is important to note that while the property is on the water, there is no useful beach. The water's edge is rocky, and two water snakes were seen.
