Bring your large group to enjoy the great outdoors at our Barndominium! The barndo has 8BRs with the loft studio suite that will sleep up to 25! It has a gated entrance that offers privacy and security for our guests. Situated about 23 min from KCI, 7 min to Liberty, 25 min to Chiefs/Royals stadiums, & 30 min to downtown KC.

IMPORTANT policies to review BEFORE booking:

* Occupancy Limits: MAX of 25 people allowed on the property at any time (including outside guests).
* Prohibited: Unapproved events, wild parties, indoor smoking or vaping, large weddings (small private ones permitted), big tents, unauthorized guest pets, fireworks (except on approved holidays), ATVs or go-karts (golf carts are allowed), RVs or trailers.
* Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Pet Policy: Small-to-medium, house-broken dogs are welcome for an extra fee of $50 per dog.
* Check-In / Check-Out Flexibility: Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability for an additional $15 per hour.
* Stay Details: Please inform us of the purpose of your visit prior to booking.
* Property Care: The booking guest is 100% responsible for any damages or excessive cleaning. All property equipment must remain at its assigned building.

Fun activities on-site: pickleball court, cornhole boards, wiffle ball, tetherball, tree swings, a wagon, an assortment of sports balls and outdoor games, with more features continuously being added!

BARNDO OVERVIEW
Accommodating up to 25 guests, the entire barndo features 8 bedrooms (including a loft studio suite), 4 full bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and 2 distinct living areas. The ground level boasts an expansive gathering space (approx. 850 sq ft) equipped with a full kitchen, dining section, and a 70" Vizio smart TV. Guests also have access to a spacious parking area.

Private Entrance: Situated at the rear corner of the property, complete with dedicated parking.
Upper Deck: Located directly off the loft, offering scenic views and stairway access down to the yard.
In-Suite Laundry: Conveniently set up inside the loft's private bathroom.

Fenced Backyard: Fully enclosed outdoor area.
Fire Pit Area: Features plenty of seating and comes fully stocked with firewood, fire starter, paper, and roasting skewers.

The Barndominium was well suited for our family, we had 5 couples and 2 teen/young adults and a toddler.. we had enough room for games and cards as well as Eating meals.. When the weather was conducive we were able to play outside as well. Having 4 bathrooms was definitely a plus. Most activities were 15 to 30 minutes away. Very nice host and easy to work with.

Great place to bring a family together for a reunion! If you have young children you should check it out. Very kid friendly. Lots of games and toys outside too. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a ladie's weekend and this was a clean, quiet, peaceful stay. We had planty of space for everyone to sleep and a great gathering space in the dining area. The kitchen was well equipped, we cooked a few meals. The land was beautiful, we took some walks. The firepit was just right for a chilly night. We would highly recommend this Barndo!

Great place. Clean and orderly. Great for sightseeing in Liberty and Independence. Owner was very good to work with. We wished there had been more bathrooms on the main floor. The bedroom to bathroom ratio wasn't good.

Our flock of 20 guests found this barndo to be an absolute haven! The home was as clean as a freshly mucked stall, beautifully decorated, and stocked to the rafters with towels and plates. With plenty of roosting spots, it offered the perfect balance—tons of space to gather as a herd and plenty of rooms to graze in private when needed. The independent temperature control in every room was a breath of fresh country air, and the soundproofing was so good, not a peep carried across the house. The loft was a great hideaway for the little ones.Outside, we had an absolute barnstormer of a time—grilling, gathering ‘round the fire pit, and playing games with the whole crew. There were only two smaller sofas in the main living space, which made corralling all the guests a bit tricky for evening lounging. Still, we managed, thanks to a cozy rug that made the space feel warm as a hayloft.The lack of a dishwasher was the biggest hitch in our wagon ride. For a home stocked to the gills with dishes and built for large groups, wrangling the dirty dishes over multiple days felt like shoveling hay nonstop. While the host graciously allowed guests to leave dirty dishes for cleanup, the sheer volume became a tough row to hoe by the end of the long weekend.Speaking of the host—quick as a farmhand, they were responsive to our couple of minor questions and needs. All in all, our stay was as easy as rolling in the hay—an udder delight! We’d hoof it back in a heartbeat.

We lived and raised our kids on our property for about 7 years. Some of the main features we loved about it was it's outdoor space it provided on acreage to do activities outside and the privacy we had with a gated entrance. Watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee from our screened-in front porch was our favorite. It brings us joy now to see others enjoy the things we enjoyed for years.
