We came by as soon as you told us the HVAC downstairs was not working. We weren't able to fix it so let you know we'd have to schedule a repair person and let us know if it was getting too hot without it (all bdrm units still worked). We didn't hear from you again so we didn't know it was an issue. You told us about the couch being broken the day after you left. We tried being kind thinking you were running behind checking out, so didn't say anything the first time the cleaner came by. Then 6 hours after check out, you were still there. It took nearly an hour to contact you, we had to involve VRBO. You said you would leave at 6am. I said okay because the cleaner already left again. I said I'd send the fee for the extra night and expedited cleaning. The extra night was same rate as your other nights. The extra cleaning charge was for cleaner rearranging their schedule to accommodate and get an extra person to help clean after 8 guests and 2 dogs for a week. We purposely leave a day between reservations for thorough cleaning. That's when you said you would leave right away instead. I said I'd reduce the charge to a late check out (less than half the nightly fee) and reduce the expedited cleaning fee. The cleaner arrived the next day to find the couch broken, a few dishes broken, several areas of dog urination and feces in the bedrooms that you didn't attempt to clean, as well as several bed sheets stained with bodily fluids.
