Ladies Reunion was a Huge Success!

5 ladies gathered for a reunion over 5 days. The accomodations worked out well with two in the master bedroom (one on couch), two in second master (king and twin) and one in the third bedroom (queen). She used the full bath downstairs. We never used our car after we arrived as we walked everywhere. We spent a great deal of time enjoying the wonderful bayfront patio as we shared lots of memories, stories, and laughter. We became known as "those high school girls", even though it was a long time ago.

The owner was extremely helpful as he met us upon our arrival and shared handy hints about the house. For part of the time,he stayed on the boat at his dock but did not disturb us in any way but made himself available if we needed anything, which of course, we did. He not only arranged for us to have a golf cart available for our stay (per day rental) but also a Duffy ride around the harbor which he captained. He also made dining recommendations when asked, all of which we enjoyed. No request or question went unanswered.

The kitchen was well equipped although we only cooked breakfast and enjoyed dining on the bayside patio. There are several TV's (which we did not watch), fans in each bedroom. The beds were all comfortable and linens met with our approval.

Previous reviews commented on the airplane noise but we did not find it an issue. It served as our alarm clock at 7 a.m. and a reminder to reduce our noise volume at 11 p.m. (when the planes stop).

All in all, it was a wonderful experience and we all agreed that we would to it again!

very pleasant week on the island

First off, and the owner can’t do anything about it.......This house is directly under the flight path for planes taking off from John Wayne airport. Every 10 minutes morning till night. Not the owners fault but still an irritant.

Be prepared for a little extra company. The owner stays on his boat while you are in his house. A bit helpful, A bit invasive.

We picked this house also so that we could bring our 2 dogs with us. They loved it but every little noise would set them off.

Great place, casual house.......We read, walked, had picnics, watched t.v., napped, and started all over again.

Great location. Very clean, comfortable, pretty property. Highly recommend it!

I stayed here for a long girls’ weekend. There was plenty of room for 7 people. Beds were really comfortable and there is lots of space for hanging out inside and on the patio beside the boardwalk. The house has tons of natural light. Walking distance from shops and restaurants. The owner Brad is super accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
