This family home has everything you need for a comfortable stay in McKinney Texas. It's very close the major highway, and there are many shops and restaurants in walking distance. It's only 5 minute drive from historic downtown McKinney.

The house has 4 bedrooms, and 2.5 Baths. A master bedroom with ensuite jetted bath, a king bedroom, queen bedroom and double bedroom complete the upstairs. . Downstairs features a large living room with plush leather couch and 65" smart tv with hulu/netflix video services. The office can be used as a 5th bedroom with a comfortable double sized futon. The dining area seats 8 at the table, and 2 at the bar area, with views overlooking the landscaped pool through out the downstairs.

The covered back patio with fans has multiple lighting options, a charcoal grill, outdoor pool table and patio set that seats up to 8. The pool has waterfall that runs on a schedule.

House Rules:
- No events, no parties, non-family and multi-family groups must disclose before booking. No groups with members under 25
- No smoking
- MAXIMUM 2 vehicles (3 if small), vehicles MUST be parked on driveway only.
- Leave it how you found it
- Respect our home and neighbors (RE: noise, and parking)
- Respect all local, state, national laws
- Respect all posted signs
- McKinney has 10pm noise ordinance
- No Pets
- Do not operate pool equipment, or cleaning robot
- 3pm Check-in / 10 am check-out
- No unattended minors
- Clean stains from carpets
- Gather in the back yard only. Do not use the side yard

Great location, great owners! Kids loved the pool!

The house was amazing for our group of 10 in town for a wedding! The pool and hot tub were a hit with kids and adults. Jody was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed the house. Very good location! Close to grocery store, restaurants & airport.

The house was very comfortable, great size. The beds were comfortable. Our grandkids loved the pool! Quiet neighborhood, close to shopping and restaurants. Airport is only 30 minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful and comfortable home. Lovely pool and hot tub. Perfect for families. Door alarms for people with little ones is an added feature...easy to turn off if you do t need. We had a few minor issues and owners were quick to respond and take care of it. We never felt they were bothered. Definitely would stay here again

Cute home

Jody is a wonderful host! We stayed in this home while our house was undergoing an extensive remodel. Jody had provided everything we needed for our home away from home and graciously allowed us to extend our stay when our general contractor passed away and our project was delayed. Our stay was in the winter months, so we didn’t have opportunity to use the pool, but it seemed nice and we enjoyed listening to the waterfall. We were very grateful to have had such a wonderful, communicative host.

The house was beautiful albeit just a bit dated. I really liked the furiture, and the kitchen was spacious and contained more than needed to make great meals. The pool was excellent, plenty of space, and still a nice back yard to read a book, play frisbee, etc. also a nice covered area for sitting/eating away from the sun, and grilling too. The biggest sell for me and my family was the quick and helpful response we got from our host. Jody was always available to help us out, answer our questions, and provide suggestions. I will definitely stay there again, when I am visiting the Dallas area. Thanks a bunch Jody. :)

Kinda home away from home!!

Overall the home was great for our event. Handled 8 folks plus daily visitors easily, back yard was a big hit for our guests and pool was a bonus in the Texas heat!! Couple minor things, more dish clothes for the kitchen (ended up buying a few) the crack in the driveway is a dangerous situation at night easily a tripping hazard, the room upstairs on the left had ants on the window sill, suggest the house is fumigated, the sprinkler system needs work, luggage got wet while waiting for ride on departure. But all in all I would rent it again with those minor upgrades etc.....

Thank you for your feedback! I'm happy overall you enjoyed your experience and appreciate the constructive feedback. The unusual amount of rain/strong storms this spring/summer and has wreaked a bit of havoc for sure with the ant kingdom. They have since been sprayed into submission. We also have repaired/replaced the portion of the driveway with the crack. With the rain it became twice as bad within a month! I'm sorry that the sprinkler got you guys wet! We will change the timing to make it go off early morning. More dish towels are are on the shopping list:)

GREAT PLACE TOO STAY

WE WERE A GROUP OF LADIES IN TOWN FOR THE OFF THE RAILS FESTIVAL WE ENJOYED THE HOUSE SO MUCH WE DIDN'T EVEN GO BACK TO THE FESTIVAL SUNDAY NIGHT WE JUST STAYED AT THE HOUSE AND ENJOYED THE MOVIES AND POOL AND HOT TUB, THE POOL TABLE IS A ADDED BONUS. IT WAS A GREAT TIME, THE HOUSE IS GORGEOUS THE PICTURES ON HERE DON'T DO IT JUSTICE, SUPER CLEAN AND EVERYTHING YOU NEED. THE OWNERS ANSWERED EVERY CONCERN WE HAD, CHECK IN WAS SUPER EASY THE CODE WORKED THE FIRST TIME, I SAY THAT BECAUSE WE HAVE HAD ISSUES AT HOUSES IN THE PAST, BUT NOT THIS ONE. ANYONE COMING TO DALLAS OR SURROUNDING AREA SHOULD STAY HERE EASY ACCESS TO EVERY WHERE YOU WOULD WANT TO GO!!!!! WE HAD A BLAST AND WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK IN THE FUTURE. ONE MORE THING I HAD TO WORK WHILE HERE AND THE INTERNET IS OFF THE CHART FAST. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR BEAUTIFUL HOME WITH US JODY AND PAT....

The house was very spacious and worked well for a 4 family stay. We were bummed to find that the hot tub didn't work, which was something we were really looking forward to utilizing.

Great place for a family to stay

If you have a large group, this is the place for you to stay. Granted it is out of Dallas and Fort Worth a bit, but McKinney is a charming town, and there is no shortage of shopping close by. There is a large grocery store just two blocks away. Our family especially enjoyed the pool. There were many pool toys there waiting and the water was clean. This house is the best equipped I have ever stayed in. There is even a standing mixer, which I could not believe. There is a toaster oven instead of a toaster, so if you really prefer the latter, take your own. Lots of televisions. Lots of seating. Plenty of beds. There are some cosmetic problems but they do not affect the renter. I'm afraid some people are not very careful about rental properties. Nice big Frig. Just about anything you need to cook with is there. Neighborhood is nice as well. There is some noise from the busy street outside it, but the waterfall masks it, and it never bothered us at any time.

Fantastic Getaway for any family or business trip!!

This house has everything you will ever need. Six of us went down on a work/sports couples trip and we love this place! The beds are extremely comfortable, the house was clean, lots of linen and we were able to watch our Canadian Football Eastern Semi-Final on the big screen (Go Riders!). The outside has a hot tub that fit all 6 of us, a pool that was a nice escape from the heat of the hot tub and a pool table/ping pong table. We were a short half hour drive to the American Airlines Arena, The JFK assassination site and AT&T Stadium. We enjoyed all 3 events! We do a lot of travel and would highly recommend this home to anyone in the Dallas area. Thank so much Jody!

It was such a great luxury to have the hot tub(it was too cold for the pool), very close to the hwy!

Loved the location and overall size of the house. Hot tub was a huge reason we booked. Easy to get around to other suburbs. We did have to wash some plates and kitchen items before we used them which is the only reason we're taking a star away. Jody was so easy to communicate with, very thankful for that!! Worth booking!

Highly recommend - house and host

House was perfect for our family reunion. Pool was a great plus. There are some highway noises, but the waterfall drowns them out. Very easy location to shops and access highways. Pictures accurately depict rooms and condition of everything. Helpful instructions for smoker grill, pool, etc posted throughout house. Historic Downtown McKinney is charming - good restaurants and shops. Highly recommend Harvest in town and Hutchens BBQ for takeout - both less than 10 minute drive. Host was very helpful. Great communication throughout. Unfortunately AC broke our last night, but host provided a partial refund - very thoughtful and fair.

Very nice accommodations. Very nicely laid out.

The backyard with pool and hot tub were very refreshing. It was 102 degrees. We were in Texas for a family wedding and several pre-parties. Location was ideal. Close to supermarket. Would recommend this house for families and couples get aways.

Everything was great!!!

Your house was the perfect destination for our entire family to get together. Due to life in general, it has been three years since we've all been under the same roof.
